Piedmont Dining Room

Two day stay at The Lodge at Callaway Gardens. My wife and I enjoyed Coastal Seafood night last Friday- had reservation but there was plenty of seating. Dinner was buffet style all-you-can-eat. Food and service was great! A little pricey but considering all you can eat shrimp, crab legs, salad, beef, chicken, pork tenderloins, green beans, slaw, potatoes, dessert bar - not bad. Also had a station for made to order shrimp and grits.Good sweet tea by the way.

Next morning — we came for the breakfast bar - all the usual items including a station for made to order omelettes. Again food and service were great!

Recently ate here on a Friday night while staying at the resort. We ordered entrees as opposed to the seafood buffet which looked overpriced for the variety offered. However, the entrees were good and reasonably priced, and the chef was accommodating to the celiacs in our family—they had no reaction to the food. The dining room was noisy, but most of the noise was coming from one party seated close to us. Service was excellent and accommodating for our gluten free needs. Would recommend and would return.

Our dear friends Joel and Van invited us to be their guests for the buffet and it was wonderful…the Prime rib, brisket, catfish, desserts, service, everything was superlative

We enjoyed the prime rib Buffet. They had fresh crawfish, crayfish,, and fried shrimp. They had desserts galore, lemon chicken, pasta, broiled fish and fresh salad bar.

Outstanding Breakfast Buffet! Friendly caring wait staff. Wonderful food and great selection.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in the south. The Friday night seafood is second to none. The ambiance of the restaurant is cool and comfortable.

Shea was our waitress she was awesome she always made sure we had what we needed. The shrimp and grits were so delicious.

Shay was our server and she was great!
The food was fantastic and the atmosphere was very pleasant.
I'm thankful I didn't read the reviews before coming. Our family would have really missed out!

Darling husband and I had fantastic dinner here. So sorry others haven’t enjoyed the same quality. Our salad, prime rib with horseradish cream, Yukon gold mashed potatoes with gravy, broccolini, grilled shrimp side, and cheesecake dome (there may be better desserts and we’ll get to try more another day) were excellent. Our server, Shay, was very attentive. There’s even more to this property so can’t wait to explore and experience more!

We had a large, rowdy (and by rowdy I mean 12 adults) for mother-in-law's birthday, and everyone was so accommodating. We all had a really nice time. While there wasn't and extensive menu, there were a lot of good choices. I had a nice side salad with a turkey avocado BLT. It's a beautiful property. Be sure to go out the opposite side and check out the butterfly, fountains and view of the lake

Yesterday evening, burger & fries were great, served hot!! Sweet tea was really good too. Waitress (Ms Bobbie, i think is her name) provided excellent service & was very courteous and took great care of all of her customers!!

Great food at a fair price. My wife really enjoyed ourselves there as we enjoyed a beautiful view as we had breakfast. Great gift shop too.

The service and waitresses were Fabulous!!!! We loved the bar. The dining area was full so we ate here!
The Georgia Peach Margarita was TOOO GOOD!
I had the pimento chicken avocado sandwich was the best sandwich I have ever had!!!! Big too!!! Sid's Fish and chips had two big fillets. Loved it!!! Going back to get their
White Chocolate Walnut Bread Pudding Desert!!!!

Saturday night Prime Rib Buffet excellent. Great service. Plenty of tasty options. Salad. Rolls. Shrimp. Oysters. Even Stone crab (seasonal).
Included dessert buffet. Yeah, at $31/pp this is no value meal, but for a nice dinner at a AAA four diamond resort this was better than expected. Dress is very casual, many families in shorts, t-shirts, and ball caps.

We were staying at the lodge and almost left the property and did not go to Piedmont because i was relying on reviews. Glad we stayed and went to the Piedmont, i got the hamburger, daughter got chicken sandwich (which i did not see on the online menu, but they were serving it) and it was amazing. I am a big eater and it filled me up, awesome french fries too. Had the breakfast buffet in the morning, also excellent. The wait staff was absolutely wonderful and safety protocol was in place. No reason to leave the property, eat at the Piedmont.

Great food, atmosphere, and our waitress was wonderful!

My husband and I went to the breakfast buffet on Sunday morning. The food was fresh and looked very appetizing. Service was A-1. We will be coming back.

Was staying at the Mountain Top Inn near Callaway Gardens. This restaurant is part of Callaway Gardens, but you don't actually have to pay to enter the park to enter the restaurant. We went there for breakfast. While it is inside the hotel for people staying in Callaway, you don't have to stay at the hotel to eat there. The breakfast is a buffet style, with eggs, bacon, ham, sausage, grits, and biscuits, in addition to oatmeal and French toast sticks. It is essentially an excellent hotel breakfast, with wait service. Kathleen/Katherine (sorry can't exactly remember) was a great waitress, And Tim and Juanita were so friendly as well. Definitely good for a basic and quick breakfast, with hot food and a nice atmosphere.

My husband and I went last night for our anniversary and it was wonderful! Everyone was super friendly and helpful and the food was amazing. Mike was our server who was very attentive to us and super personable. We will most definitely return!
