I just got the combination dinner and it's soo delicious! I will be back. The portions were huge. The picture I took is after eating a kefta kabob. Beautiful and tasty rice and salads too. I couldn't wait til I got home I'm eating in the car! Great Job Mr Pita

The Shawarma was delicious and I’m from Dearborn where we have a huge Arabic community and the food is phenomenal and this is just the best I’ve had in a really long time!!!

The food here is exceptionally fresh. We usually get the #6 chicken sharma and Mr.Pita combination. This time, we tried the hummus and falafel. It was 10/10 so good. The owner always makes sure you have everything you need.

Wow wow and wowww !! Palestinian food in Gurnee ! Everything was absolutely fresh and delicious. The spicy salad was so good, I have never tasted anything like this before. Chicken and rice were hot and fresh. I'm so happy I found this place and will be a regular customer. A must visit ! Great service from the owner as well. THANK YOU ♡

The food quality is amazing. Made fresh to order. I was given a free sample of homemade soup while I waited for my order to be prepared which was delicious. Their tahini sauce is amazing - thicker than most and so flavorful. I love the hummus. It’s a bit spicy with great flavor and consistency. The various salads and meats were perfection. My new fave Mediterranean place! Highly recommend!

A hidden gem that is amazing. Delicious food that is prepared fresh and fast. Great and friendly customer service. No fountain drinks are available. Bathrooms are for paying customers only. Limited parking because of neighboring businesses.

Quaint little hole-in-the-wall type restaurant. This was my first experience eating Mediterranean food. It was absolutely amazing. We ordered the Mr. Pita combo. Lots of delicious food for a great price and still had a box to take away with us. They even gave us some falafel to sample. Super flavorful and amazing.

The gentlemen is one of the nicest people. Services was amazing and I had the beef shawarma platter my last visit, I have 0 complaints, and all praises! Cooked thoroughly and the salad with it was fresh and full of taste, its my new favorite lunch spot

Update: I've visited this restaurant three times, and as always, the food has been incredibly comforting and fresh. Despite its location being a bit out of the way for me, the experience has been entirely worth it. This place has a magical way of making you forget all about the stresses of work and life. The food is just that good. It's like a warm hug for your soul. Trust me, this place is a true sanctuary that will leave you feeling rejuvenated and content. The owner should be proud of their delicious food; it's like a mix of all the best Mediterranean dishes/flavors in one spot. It's worth every penny spent.

This restaurant is delicious, and the service was wonderful! My wife and I ordered pitas, one chicken and one falafel. While prepping the food the man at the counter gave us samples of the chicken soup and falafel with tahini. All so, so delicious. If you’re looking for lunch around 6 Flags, I couldn’t recommend this place more!

Mr. Pita has some of the most beautiful food I've seen in the area. I had the pleasure to meet the owner as well. The food was everything i dreamed it would be. You can tell a lot of passion and love has gone into creating this beautiful art. I tried the combination plate,the beef shawarma and the burger. The Jerusalem salad, the citrusy flavors, the spicy garlic sauce, the beautiful fluffy rice, the tasty kabob, everything was delicious! The burger was such a nostalgic taste of better days. My husband LOVED the burger. Definitely on of the best take out burgers i have ever tried! The atmosphere is very soothing. Very clean establishment, chill music in the background and auromas that make you want to eat everything! I look forward to coming back many more times in the future. Thank you Mr. Pita for this lovely experience!

This place is close to where I work . There is an Indian place where I use to go but somehow I missed this Mediterranean place .
My coworkers thought of going to this place today and after seeing the reviews on Google i was surprised how people were so positive about this place .i wanted to try myself .

The reviews were indeed right . The place is very clean and I must say the lady behind the counter was extremely warm and humble . The food also was quite tasty. There was not a lot of wait time . Food was fresh .

Mr. pita is a great spot to grab some food with the family. The service was outstanding the owner absolutely cared about our family and made sure all four of us were happy. He went above and beyond offering us samples of other foods we didn't order & brining the kids extra treats. We will absolutely be back & will recommend this spot to all!

Discovered summer 2023…it’s my favorite! The Mediterranean food chains don’t hone close in service, much less value or flavor. I live 23 West…and try to make it there weekly, bi weekly at the very least. The kindness makes the drive worth it…a $27 order generally renders about 4 meals for me. There’s a place nearby that also has a meal location…it just doesn’t compare to Mr.Pita. Give it a go, you’ll enjoy the burst of flavors and fair cost!
