Margaritas Mexican Restaurant

Ever had food at a jail turned into a restaurant? Well this is it! During our vacation in New England, we found this gem that had a unique dining experience. The food was delicious! They offer customization. They have lots of vegetarian options. Highly recommend this restaurant. Reservations required as it gets very crowded over the weekdays as well.

First, service here was awesome! Our server was attentive, personable and knowledgeable about the restaurant and some of its history. History? It's in an old jail and the cells make for a great private dining experience. The food was really good, from the fresh chips and salsa, all the way to a delicious enchilada plate. Their margaritas were really good too. I will definitely return again.

Came here for lunch and Nicole was out server and she was AMAZING!! very attentive and gave us great recommendations. We had the Margarita Flight and House Margarita and all were great. He had margaritas favorite that came with an assortment of traditional flavors. I had the enchilada. Both came out perfectly and tasted as we expected. The wings though freaking amazing 😋 you HAVE TO TRY. We will be back. Hopefully we get Nicole again 👍

We went as a big group and enjoyed every thing! Managers and servers were amazing!! Even one girl was clocked out and she assisted with running our food. Food is very good! Can’t tell me it didn’t come from Mexico 🤣 best food I had in concord !!!!

The food was excellent
We are waiting at the table And she disappeared about 15 minutes then we have to go to the front desk and asked for order then another server helping out . That was nice people helping out each other.

I ate here with my friends recently and we had a great time. We reserved one of the jail cells which is a very fun experience (the building used to be the old jail so you can eat in an old jail cell if you want to, highly recommend!). The food, service, and atmosphere were all great. Will be back!

We had diner in the bar 6/18/24 and had a fantastic experience. The place was busy but that was fine as we were able to get a seat right away. We have been there many times and generally enjoy it but we tried some different items this time and we're really happy with everything. The fire roasted corn salsa add on to the guac was really tasty and the supergrande Guadalajara steak fajita plate was cooked perfectly. Perfect size for two people to share. We were very happy with the margaritas as well and as always the staff was welcoming, helpful, and made the experience even better. Highly recommended!!

This restaurant is really cool. Margarita’s restaurant is located in the old town jail. There are tales of this restaurant being haunted, so it added to the fun. Some of the seating is in the actual jail cells with the bars open. We were sat in the pit. Not sure what it was used for previously, but it was a pretty neat booth to sit in. Just visiting for the experience would be great, but the food is actually pretty good too. We ordered the Cheese Queso, Skillet Enchiladas, Mayan Shrimp, Street Corn and a taco. The Mayan Shrimp was so good that we ordered a second plate. They had a extensive cocktail menu. There is a naked section of cocktails that were made with fresh lime juice and top shelf liquors. The drinks were amazing. Especially the Naked Coconut Margarita.
This is a must visit if you are in the area!

Great cost-benefit! It's a very interesting place to dine, located in a former prison, you can eat mexican food inside a prison cell. Cozy environment and the staff are very friendly, especially Colin!

Fantastic location in the old jail cells . The atmosphere was amazing and the food and atmosphere was first class . The Margaritas were tasty and the fajits delishious .

We have been going to this restaurant for many years. Over the years we have celebrated many birthdays and other occasions. The atmosphere is perfect for a celebration of many or just two. The staff has always done there best to make our time with them great. We have enjoyed numerous menu items and drinks. Of course we love their salsa.

Had a wonderful meal during that snowy nor Easter when everybody else was closed. Our server was terrific and our meals were super solid. We had fun and ate too much- which is always a good sign.

It's such an awesome and amazing place. The food was fantastic and the staff was friendly. Prices are very reasonable. If you want an experience you won't forget. Stop by for lunch or dinner. It's worth it, hands down

The wait staff is very attentive and good ...I went in on a Wednesday, it was trivia night. The music was just ok..90's grudge and loud. I ordered the. Nachos and they were good .My daughter ordered the steak burrito and it was just alright. You always get free chips and salsa . Tuesday has an all you can eat too night.

A quaint experience. Great food and great service in an old jail cell (bars included).

Had a great time, our waitress Stephani was amazing! Her sense of humor really was on point and she made sure everything was just right. The blood orange margarita was very good as was the "Mexican flag". If you are looking for good Mexican food in a lively atmosphere I'd recommend coming here!

10/10 for the awesome interior, flavorful food, amazing drinks, and great service.

Our server was very sweet and helpful. They have great vegetarian, vegan and gluten free oltions too.

The food was too good 😋 The Ambience was amazing. Perfect place to stop when you are visiting for fall colors.

Everything was super yum!

Food was excellent and service also :) Will definitely be back for the nachos and margaritas 🍹 Raspberry lime margarita was a bit sour/syrupy and dessert took longer than expected. But overall great place and I definitely recommend!!
