Faction 93

I was nervous to get my haircut, I had been doing it myself for a few years and didn't want to reduce length and I was honestly anxious I had butchered it. But I was ready to get this mop back to beautiful curls! I booked with Arie, and specified what I was wanting: I have thick hair, past my shoulders and wavy, sometimes curly and I wanted to enhance my curls and get curtain bangs. When I got there we discussed what I was wanting and hoping for and showed her pictures of what I liked. She explained every step, why she was layering it this way and then she washed, added a little product and dried it with a diffuser, allowing the curls to curl naturally. I can't express how comfortable she made me, she's so easy to talk to, incredibly intelligent and knowledgeable and very kind. I am absolutely obsessed with my haircut!! My curls have NEVER looked this good and healthy! Whatever your haircare needs, go to Arie, go to Faction93, they know what they're doing, it's the cutest place with the cutest humans!

Very thankful for Dani! My son got a haircut from another business that we were not thrilled with. Dani was able to see us the next day and actually listened to our concerns, gave her professional opinion and fixed parts we didn't like. Will definitely be going back!

Austin is my hair stylist and is a wonderful kind person and great with his work. After several searches, I finally got to do a virtual consult to discuss my exact hair needs and Austin is very attentive, patient, detail oriented and listens to you and likes to work with you to get your desired hair results which a lot of places lack. I love my hair style and have received many compliments and thanks to Austin for working along with me in achieving this. He is also great with kids haircuts. Overall, I recommend the salon and Austin for the exceptional affordable services they provide to their clients.

Austin is a-ma-zing!!! I moved to Southern Illinois 5 years ago and was struggling to make trips home to see the hairstylist I had been going to for years. Honestlyyy I was pretty picky about where to go and who to book with - but I could NOT have been more impressed!! Austin takes the time to understand your hair goals and daily life in order to give you such a magical feeling when you’re leaving his chair. I just returned to the area after some months away and I can’t wait to book another visit!!! Stop dilly-dallying and book asap - you won’t regret it ❤❤

Arie is the bees knees and the cats pajamas! This is the second salon I have been at with her and she continues to wow me with her talent. I always leave her chair feeling like a pretty princess. She also always remembers the little details of my life and asks about them during the following visit. The salon atmosphere here is also so awesome! Plants galore and a relaxed girl's night atmosphere.

Okay my peeps, I have found my salon!! Arielle at Faction 93 is beyond fabulous. Upon arrival she greeted me kindly, listened attentively to my ideas, gave feedback, and set to work. She continued to ask questions making sure I received just the hairstyle I desired. She had such a laid back personality that I felt relaxed and enjoyed our conversation. When she was finished let's just say I was impressed. It looked exactly as I envisioned it. Arielle, girl you are fantastic and Faction 93 is now my home for all salon needs.

Izzy absolutely SAVED my hair about 3 years ago with a beautiful color correction, and I haven't stopped seeing her since. She has made my hair look the best it has ever been. Recommend her a thousand times!

Isabela was able to fit me in right away and flexible enough for my busy schedule. She listened and gave me exactly what I wanted. Typically I’m unimpressed with most haircuts I receive from chain salons. But Im super pumped about my new haircut!

Got a same day appointment with Kayla and was so pleased. She helped me figure out what I wanted and was very fast with the haircut. Very reasonably priced too

I absolutely recommend Maddie for micro blading. She made it an amazing easy first experience and I would recommend her to anyone. She was great company and I can’t wait to go back for my 6 week touch up.

Izzy is the best colorist hands down. She is professional, kind, and extremely talented at what she does with very reasonable prices especially for her skill level.
