Food is good. Options for add ons is good but I like my mayo on the top crust not in the middle of my sandwich

Alright, buckle up folks, because this is going to be a wild ride. I'm talking about the Subway near Lake Meade, Pennsylvania. A place where dreams go to die and sandwiches follow suit.

First off, the ambiance. If you're into fluorescent lighting that makes everyone look like they've just seen a ghost, and a playlist that's stuck in the 80s, then sure, you might call it "charming". I call it a one-way ticket to migraine city.

Now, onto the main event - the sandwiches. I ordered a simple turkey sub. What I got was a culinary abomination. The bread was so stale, I'm pretty sure it could have been used as a makeshift hammer. The "fresh" veggies were a sad, wilted mess that looked like they'd given up on life. And the turkey? Let's just say it was as dry as the Sahara and leave it at that.

But wait, there's more! The "sandwich artist"? More like sandwich apprentice. The speed at which this guy worked made sloths look like Olympic sprinters. I've seen paint dry faster. And the artistic flair? Non-existent. My six-year-old cousin could put together a more aesthetically pleasing sandwich.

And don't even get me started on the "customer service". The only thing frostier than the employee's demeanor was the ice in my flat soda.

So, if you're looking for a gastronomic adventure, by all means, visit the Subway near Lake Meade. Just make sure your health insurance is up to date and you've got plenty of time to kill. As for me, I'd rather eat my shoe.

The manager and staff are all great with outgoing an fun personalities! They all pitch in as a team to make your whole experience awesome while there making your subs and getting orders ready for you and others. Everyone was very professional and extremely accommodating . The sub shop is well taken care of and very clean as well as the restrooms. I think It's nice to be able to go into any place of business especially nowadays and be able to have a serve done with a true smile an be able to see they are having fun at their job while serving you. Positive vibes always make a person feel welcomed an want to come back again :) There truly is no worse feeling Than going in any place of business and having the person who is helping you or serving you be miserable with you because there unhappy at there job so they make you feel like it's a burden for them to deal with you . You will not have that problem at the Subway. 😀

Owner's son very entertaining, made our 1st time stopping a 'we'll return' experience. Helped he looked like one of my favorite movie stars...

I sometimes eat here for lunch. The food is tasty, consistent, the staff is friendly, and the area is clean. I recommend going here for lunch over Rutter's down the street where the food is sub par and where the food supposed to be warm, is actually cold.

The 2 boys working were so amazing they restored my hope in the younger generation!!! They were polite and kind. I can not say enough good things about them!!!!!!!!

I can always count on Subway for a good lunch. I really like the staff at this location. Evelyn, Jimmy and all of them always make guests feel welcome .
