Kittery Community Center

Amazing event at KCC Star Theater. The theater is beautiful and well equipped for any type of event up to 200 capacity. Chris Luise, Director, did an amazing job. Answered countless emails and granted all of our requests. The featured guest was very comfortable in the space. We couldn’t be happier. All for a very reasonable price.

I use the gym here once and a while.. and it’s really nice! If you’re looking for somewhere to go that just has the basics then this is a good, cheap option. Usually pretty quiet on weekdays, but it picks up on the weekend.

Super clean and very easy to get to. Free parking and very handicap accessible. I enjoyed seeing a production of HAIR by the Seacoast Rep. It was fabulous and the high ceilings allowed for a great show. Comfortable seats.

This community center is by far one of the best on the Seacoast, offering a state of the art gym with walking track, full size basketball court, and impeccable softball field. They also have The Star Theater which offers lots of shows throughout the year. There are beautiful meeting rooms and tons of classes to take. Always clean and friendly too.

What was life in Kittery like before the Frisbee school became the the community center? Probably not that great. Now, The seniors play pickle ball, the teens play basketball, the recovering injured walk around the track, the cultured take in a play or art viewing, the children are educated and nurtured, the wellness of this town is much improved. Many perks for residents, but out of towners are encouraged to attend events and enroll in the offerings.

We hosted a 75 person baby shower here in 2013, and now both kids have attended school here as well as joined sports teams. I’d say I’ll be using this facility for a dozen more years!

Parking can be a pain in the butt, like when the shipyard has meetings or elections are held. Or Tuesdays for some reason. Staff is great and will usually look into things for you if they don’t have answers right away. Eyes of the world is hard to get a hold of, but they are busy busy and don’t have much administrative time to return calls and emails. Better off finding alumni to answer questions.

Lastly, I highly recommend Jump n Gym and Zumba for kids if you’re at home caring for preschoolers. Fun and active indoor winter activities!!

I was in the addition to the original building, there's a large gymnasium with a walking Track on the second floor perimeter. We were there to see a theater show in another part of the building, but there were people playing basketball on the gym floor while a couple of other people were walking on the upper level. It was a clean and spacious area. Bathrooms were very clean too!

Great place for all kinds of functions. Various room options, helpful staff. We've used this venue several times. Everyone always comments on what a great facility it is.

Great staff. I love front desk attendant Moreene she's a doll and remembers details. I don't know how you do it sweetie!!! Their programs are great and the place is always clean.

The center has a workout gym, walking track, gymnasium, classrooms, offices and a great theater. They also host the Kittery winter indoor farmers market. They do so much more that I have not listed. Check out their website.

So nice to have such a wonderful facility in our town. The theater is great, the fitness center is well appointed and the gym is great for our kids to play.

KCC is awesome. Come out and play volleyball with us, Friday nights at 5pm!
