El Tio Tex-Mex Grill

Had a delicious dinner at this place! They have awesome food and the service was great, I highly recommend!

Saw this place while driving by and figured why not go eat there, we looked up reviews real quick before because you know. Reviews. A lot of people talked about the large portions and good food and they were not misleading.

I’ve been to countless establishments with similar menus but this place really does give the bang for buck. From the service to the food to the decor and everything in between nothing disappointed.
(One side note) this place has two different styles of carne asada entrees which I haven’t seen before. One being labeled carne asada Salvadoreña which is the one I’m used to. The other carne asada come with plantains and something else I forgot.

Anyways, got a big steak, got a big beer, the quesadilla ordered was big, the steak tacos came with huge chunks of tender beef absolutely embarrassing other places I’ve been. The chips light and crispy and the chimole/dip just the way I like it.

This place was fantastic. The chips were some of the best I have had. Salsa, beer and queso were all good. Service was good. Reasonable prices. I would definitely recommend this place.
UPDATE: We went again and ordered the seafood soup, chimichanga, quesadilla, and tortilla soup. All were very good.

El Tio is probably one of my favorite places in the area! Amazing food + the kindest staff

My partner and I go to El Tio at least once a week. I either get their bean and spinach enchiladas or their mushroom quesadillas, with the spicy guacamole. Never disappoints :)

Service was GREAT. Food was some of the best around. Our server Rudy R was great. Definitely recommend.

Great "Mexican" chain in NOVA. Fun for kids, good HH. Great hot sauce, be sure to ask for it. Ceviche is tops.

Decided to give El Tio another try after an average dining experience a few years ago after some friends recommended it after management changed. We had a great overall experience and everyone enjoyed the fresh food and drinks. They just opened new dining and bar space which was really nice. Will definitely dine again.

This is a fantastic Mexican restaurant. Best fajitas around. So good we drive all the way from Arlington to get to it and we do it often (about once a week). Staff is super friendly, they have solid margaritas, and it's not overly expensive. Definitely one of the places we love to visit. They can also be very fast if you are trying to get in and out. Solid recommend.

Coke was crisp, food was excelente! Service was quick and attentive. Pen was smooth

This place serves amazing Tex-Mex. I have never been disappointed going here. My favourite is the grilled chicken breast burrito. The staff and employees are very nice and the ambience of the restaurant is quite cool too. It's a cozy place but I have been to a larger El tio and I didn't like the food as much as this one.

What a find! A real gem. One of the best Mexican dishes I have ever had in my life. Excellent service. I will be back!

Great little spot in downtown mclean if you are in the mood for some tex-mex the bartender monia I believe was her name was awesome and amazing highly recommend

Best steak quesadillas! Meaty, heavy, cheesy, and delicious. The side of guacamole, pico, and cream is just enough. Great single person meal and perfect for sharing. I love this place.

From a North Texan, this restaurant is legit! Ate lunch here 2x and dinner 1x in past 5 days. Every single meal was fresh and delicious! Salsa is on point, margaritas were fantastic, ribeye fajitas were amazing, the ceviche SUPER Fresh, cheese enchiladas superb, and team/staff as nice as they come. Will be back next time I'm in the area.

Really enjoyed lunch here on Friday. The server was great and so was the food. I got the lunch special which was a nice sized portion. I will definitely come again.
