Myrtle Beach Boardwalk

Love to walk!

When we take our family vacation to Myrtle Beach, we always hit the boardwalk! So much to do and see!

The largest souvenir shop, known as the Gay Dolphin is always the first stop! So many floors of just about everything you could imagine. Seashells, apparel, postcards and so much more! There is a tower on the front that goes way up and has a fountain that squirts water and is just waiting for the toss of your pennies!

Just down the boardwalk is an amazing arcade featuring 2 levels of games. Vintage all the way to most recently produced game! Tickets can be turned in for prizes.

Along the boardwalk are tons of sculptures that make for amazing photo ops!

Who loves some good beach food? Various restaurants and ice cream stands have some wonderfully delicious items!

The Sky Wheel is on site and gives an amazing view of the beach from way up high. If you have never taken a ride in the Sky Wheel, you will want to do this at least once in your lifetime.

Don’t forget the actual beach itself which you can view from any part of the boardwalk. The waves, crashing, seagulls dipping down towards the ocean and a view of the pier.

Boardwalk makes any person want to walk for exercise or just to enjoy the scenery!

Very nice place to visit in Myrtle beach. Lots of restaurants, rides and fun things to do. Lots of parking is available too. Nice spot during the day and night.

So many different things to do for all ages, right on the beach. The views from the Sky Wheel were worth the price. $100 for a family of five. You can rent a 8 person golf cart for $350 for 24 hours. It's legal to drive on the road until 8pm. (Sundown)

LOVED having the boardwalk alongside the beach. The beach here is wide, and long. Plenty of room. definitely not crowded. We liked taking in the nature around the park. There is a short nature trail as well as a Nature Center. The pier was nice, but disappointed the end was fenced off, and unable to go out all the way. There's a nice little shop with cool beverages, ice cream, and plenty of souvenirs. The weather was gorgeous! Warm, but with a nice breeze. We did not camp here, but appears to have plenty of sites for campers & tents.

Close to beach over the dunes, it is short but very enjoyable. Kudos to South Carolina State park department for a wonderful job done!

Beautiful at day and night time. Come for the off-season months if you need quiet Beach for yourself. Highly recommend

Love this place! I stayed at Holiday Sands North Hotel for the Christmas season. The board walk was beautifully decorated.

We love it. Big question is :what is not to love when you are in vacation, with clean, wide and long beach ( you are not crowded by other people, everyone have a lot of space), sun ( a lot of sun) good weather. Reading a book and listen to the waves, watching the Ocean, or just falling in sleep 🌞🏄🏊🛌☀🦈🐬

Nice clean place to fish and a nice gift shop too good people to that work there they have a thing about the sun rise and sets and about the low and high tides it was really nice😊

We love MB! My uncle lives here and my son wants to move here! This area of the beach is so chill!

Beautiful Beach, great location and it was quite peaceful!

Fun, clean, and so many stores! A fun free activity for families. Paid attractions are also available, but no entrance or parking fee is charged

Nice place for a walk or enjoy the beachfront.

Great place to spend the day checking out the multitude of little tourist shops and restaurants. You're never far from the beach and there's plenty of beach access points. Lots of photo opportunities. It's a very clean area and the walkways and grounds are well kept. There are several areas to park where you can pay by the hour or pay for the whole day.

Love this state park!! The beach is nice and the activities and patch program in the nature and activity center are always well done, informative and great for kids of all ages.
