New York Teriyaki

Great little spot to eat at, I was craving Yakisoba, and this is the only place that serves rice and a salad with Yakisoba. That I'm aware of. It was quiet and comfortable I really dislike going into a restraunt to eat and freeze.

At first I balked at the concept of a •”Teriyaki, sushi, and burger joint.” Then I balked at the pricing on the menu — $18 for a tempura spicy tuna roll? In inland Washington? No way.

Imagine my surprise at the sheer size of the rolls, the freshness of the fish, and the expert composition. New York Teriyaki blew all my preconceptions out of the water of what’s possible on this side of the Cascades, with quality rivaling or even surpassing similarly-priced locations in the Seattle and Portland areas.

I highly recommend anyone looking for a quality Japanese food experience in Yakima try this place — you won’t regret it.

Always love to come here! I would like to try other meals, but I always gravitate to the chicken bowl. This time around, I ordered an egg roll, and it was delicious. Every time I come here the service is good and friendly! It is a bit small inside, but ordering to go is always an option I do enjoy sitting inside, though!

This NY Teriyaki is definitely worth stopping in and eating at. The service is Great, the employees are Quick and very Nice. The food definitely keeps me coming back for more.

We had our meal delivered through Door Dash to our hotel room and it was fantastic! We had asked for special instructions on one of our meals and they made sure it was correct. The food was absolutely delicious and not only that, but it looked great too. Take out and delivery is sometimes a hit and miss, but the food was definitely a hit. We will order the same next time we are in town!

I haven't been to this place in years. I walked in and felt a familiar atmosphere! The food is authentic! The service, as always, was amazing! Eating side by side with Muslims speaking their native language. People speaking Spanish. Americans acting like true Americans! Asian cuisine bringing so many people from different walks of life together!

The staff was very helpful, and checked on us regularly. Our meal was brought to us fast and efficiently. Not a bad price for the amount we ordered. Dined-in and a to go order that was ready when we was.

My sister took me here prior and it was such delicious food so I had to stop by and pick up an order to go so I can eat it when I get back home.

Fast friendly service and the food isn't bad Either. I can call in my order for carry-out and by the time I get there 15 minutes later they will have it packed up in a bag with napkins and plastic silverware ready to go. Makes for a quick meal when time is tight.

These guys are literally the best in the valley and maybe in WA. At least for us. My daughter is seven and We ordered the maki combo and hand rolls. I always get the chicken and beef Teriyaki. It always tastes great! The staff is friendly and they take good care of you. I have been eating here since 2009 and plan eating the same thing for as long as I live in Yakima!

My husband and I stopped in here while we were in Yakima on business. The chicken teriyaki was really good. I'll definitely make it a point to stop in here again and try some other items on their menu.
