Kosta's Gyros

First tried this place this past early August after my wife & I took our boys to a nearby indoor playground.

My thoughts are that like many Chicago/Greek grills, the Gyros here definitely are the bomb. The food in general is good all around but the Gyros are excellent.

I can't say that I've tried every Chicago grill or Greek restaurant in Chicago and the suburbs but I really like Kosta's. Moist, soft and the meat is seasoned just right and not too salty.

Prices still seem reasonable for what you get, I love the dining room vibe which is kept very clean and the service was on par like most competitors I've been to.

If ever in the area, I'd definitely stop back in for another delicious monster Gyros sandwich!

I really enjoyed my Gyros sandwich here. They make the food to order, so there’s some wait but if you have the time it’s well worth the wait. It was delicious and I definitely plan on eating here again. The food tasted and felt fresh, with some nice cold onions and veggies sitting on a pile of tender hot gyro meet, very satisfying. Portion size was nice too.

awesome food! always busy but worth it! Prices and food they give out is decent it's our go to spot in the area! Staff is great very pleasant

I adore these guys. They truely know what they are doing in the kitchen. I work down the street at the CPR and I always recommend my customers to stop here for some food while they are waiting on their phone repairs to get done. Thanks for the awesome food and atmosphere.

Family owned feeling whenever you come in. The staff is very professional and damn can they cook. Their Gyros are the best in town. Plus don't forget the cheese cup with your crinkle fries. Delicious!

Absolutely delicious! My personal favorite is the gyro combo. In my opinion, the best anywhere around!

We used to live over there in Palatine but unfortunately we moved to Peoria we do not mind traveling almost 3 hours just to go eat out there we love their service and there food thanks guys . gracias por su amabilidad de ustedes buen trabajo a todos ustedes

Been visiting Kosta’s Gyros for over 20 years. The service is friendly, quick and accurate. A little pricey but than again what’s not when eating out nowadays.

All around great place for a meal. Many great menu selections.

Food is usually great here. Hickups on occasion like anywhere. Love the cream of chic soup.

Super cozy environment with a great selection of items. Fries are to die for actually and great prices for everything

Back in my home town on vacation.
You want an awesome gyros and fries, this is where you get it. Place has been outstanding since it opened as Kourtis way back in the day. The only thing that changed was the name, good food for sure.

Been a while since visiting Kostas. Food was delicious as i always remembered and the service was fantastic!! Whoever cashier 2 T was on the evening of 10/11/23 was awesome. He was very polite & helpful super friendly & handled his professionalism like i wish all other restaurants did. Because of him Im putting Kostas in my regular rotation for my take out food spots.

First time at this restaurant. Very nice and clean. Ordered Gyros and Beef sandwiches. Both very delicious. The only thing I will do in the future is ask for Tzatziki sauce on the side. Sometimes I like a lot of sauce and sometimes I like a little sauce

Well it's a five ⭐ place. Service is good, food is great 👍 and serving size is large.

The price is worth it. Momma squirrel 🐿 💕 the soup 🍲. I like the gyro plate 🍽 😁.

This place is epic! Best gyro sandwich I've ever eaten. Great customer service, clean restaurant, clean bathrooms and history all over the walls. I wish I lived closer!

I had there 1/2 chicken dinner combo and it was absolutely delicious 😋, great menu and combo items to choose from.

I've been coming to this place since it was Curtises, but moved away last year. The food today was fantastic as always and came along with that sidekick of nostalgia. Loved the shrimp basket and the combination sandwich that we got. I highly recommend this place to any and everyone.
