Angry German

1st time at the Angry German, wanted to try some authentic German food. I was not disappointed, service was top notch and the food even better. The bread was killer and the bratwurst was really sweet and topped with sourkrault/mustard. BTW, the bread is made daily by staff here. Would recommend to anyone who like real European food. Affordable and relaxing. All of the staff make you feel at home.

We all enjoyed delicious lunch options, a comfortable atmosphere and excellent service. We will definitely return to try more amazing food.

So we were hungry and looking to try something different, and The Angry German was recommended to us by a friend. I can honestly say, we both enjoyed everything, the food, the service, and the atmosphere. We got the smoked Gouda with bacon bites and those with the combination of the chipotle sauce, just pure yum. I got the Rahm Schnitzel and my wife got the Angry Doner and both dishes were amazing. I will happily say I recommend The Angry German and these dishes.

Wonderful little treasure at the end of town. Chris, our server was full of energy and had an amazing attitude lacking in so many servers today. Had to have a chocolate croissant for dessert while packing a piece of chocolate thin mint cake for later. Will definitely return😊

Stopped in for lunch based on this place’s great reviews and we were not disappointed! The service was incredible - such friendly staff and a great menu! I want to come back to try the desserts!

I went here with some work friends kind of dredding German food. Wow, I flipped my mind when I saw the menu. I really enjoyed the soup and pretzel I had. I will definitely return.

Many 'hole in the wall' can be great, but this place is better than I had even considered. Let me open up with this, I will be returning for second and then some.
A list of the menu shows some great choices to start and move up from there. The staff were chatty and kind and ready to find the answer if, on the rare occasion, you had a question they didn't already have the answer for. Tried a few of the brews and enjoyed my meal.
Be prepared to take home what you can't finish, for their price, you do get what you paid for.

Honestly, this is the best place to eat in Sierra Vista, my brother and I went there for the first time as he was visiting from out of state and wanted some good German cuisine. Our orders were taken by Chris and he helped us out with their specials and similar. He had great customer service skills, was very friendly, and had great energy throughout. Additionally, the food was fantastic, the flavor profiles and amounts were exactly what you’d hope for and the Döner was absolutely delicious.

Chris wasn’t the only person to assist as us pretty much every staff member that walked by made sure we were taken care of, clearing plates or bringing refills and giving my brother info on the desserts. It was so great we went back again the next day!

I cannot recommend the Angry German enough and will definitely be back in the future.

Service was outstanding and thefood was delicious...some of the best german food we have had in a while! Highly recommend stopping by if in the area.

Everything we had was delicious! Do not skip dessert! We had a slice of sweet potato cheesecake and bought another slice to take home. Already planning our next visit.

First time at the Angry German and it was delicious. The service was great and fast. I liked that they waited until we had finished most of our apps before bringing out the salads. Everything was so good and can't wait to go back!

Working in town for the day and came upon this gem! My husband was quick to accept the suggestion for pretzels and beer cheese when I went outside for a call. How could he refuse?!

I found my usual salad, but this one was extra good! First, it was a perfect combination of chicken and avocado on lettuce, tomato, cucumber, etc. Everything was incredibly fresh and you could really taste the difference!

I kept eating away at that while he took down his plate and we visited with the couple next to us. They seemed to be regulars because they'd given us suggestions on the food, saying that everything was amazing, how great the place was, etc.

They ended up getting carrot cake and we ordered the lemon cake. Since hubby likes A Lot of lemon, they even brought his a few wedges to squeeze over it (when he joked he would do that), which made it even better than it was already. The candied lemon peel they also brought...wow!

The "little things" were important also. When they brought 2 pretzels rolls and button, the rolls were sliced in half so the pats of butter could warm up between them to soften up. When a few Officers came in and found a table in the corner near us, the waitress told them about another area that would be even more preferred for them.

While we don't know when/if we'll be back in this area, it's guaranteed that we will be back to the Angry German upon our return!!

An accommodating place that serves food in the modern German style. Our server Chris went above and beyond to make our visit pleasant. Both the Rahm Schnitzel and the Doner were well done and very tasty. Everything I had was flavorful but my favorite thing has to be the Gouda Bacon Bites. Even their desserts are extraordinary as their baker puts extra effort into the baked portions of desserts rather than just relying on the sweetness of cream. 10/10 the best part of my visit to Sierra Vista.

This is a hidden gem. Friendly staff! You can tell they enjoy their job by the vibe!! The currywurst was delicious. I think I was overly excited for the side of curry ketchup 🤣 The pastries were delicious 😋. We will definitely come back and dine here the next time we are in town. I think I have a new favorite!

It was very crowded during lunch time. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive even though he was busy. Angry’s doner and French fries were good. Overall, great experience. We’d definitely go back.

We got in about 30 minutes before they closed, and they were super awesome, really quick at getting the food out for the 2 of us. My buddy got the green chile bratwurst, and he said it was pretty good, he really liked the beer cheese with fries. I got the doner with the chipotle sauce on the side, with beer cheese for the fries. I loved my meal, it was real good. It was a little pricey, but definitely a fun place to go every once in a while.

Great place when you're hungry for snitzel. Appetizers are delicious. Don't forget dessert. It's all made in-house with non-GMO flour. Oh, and pastries are awesome too. They also offer several good adult beverages (beer and wine)!! The wait staff is so friendly and helpful. Give it a try, and you will be glad you did. Parking is really tight and may need to park next door, and inside seating is small.

In celebration of my sister-in-law's b-day, we came here upon her request for dessert. She's been in Sierra Vista for 25 years and this is one of her frequent haunts, I would learn. We also were treated to an abbreviated history of this restaurants ownership! Interesting story. . . .

The lady who arrives every day at 4 am to bake and decorate the cakes, pies and pastries came out to say hello - and to make sure that we were enjoying our choices. Sadly, I cannot remember her name though I WAS introduced! There were 6 of us at the table and we all enjoyed something different. Except my sister and sister-in-law DID order the same thing; Orange Cake! Which made me second guess MY choice of "Almost Famous Chocolate Cake"! Dad had a 'Cookies and Cream Cake', exactly what it sounds like, with a dark 'sandwich cookie' on top of the whipped cream topping! Moist and rich, each dessert at the table had their own qualities, and sweet added touches to top them off. Mine had an extra fluffy chocolate topping, within the large whipped frosting 'flower' was a small caramel filled chocolate candy. The orange cakes had the old fashioned 'Orange Slice' candy, and so on. There was a blackberry cheesecake at the table as well! A thick, hearty cheese cake middle with dark purple swirls resting upon a chocolate graham crust, and yes, whipped cream! We each savored our bites, enjoying every one until we could eat no more! Seriously! The portions were huge! I believe each cake is cut into 6 slices, so that should tell you something! There were NO complaints from us. In fact, little was said at all once our plates arrived!

While we sat there enjoying our cakes, I DID look up from my treat occasionally to see other things going by, being placed in front of the folks at other tables. It all looked and smelled fantastic! Schnitzel was quite popular I noticed! Sanwhiches and burgers too. I look forward to returning for dinner. . . . Soon!
