Melina's Empanadas

Was literally driving down the road and had to make a U-turn to give it a try! I am not disappointed. I was greeted with a smile and hot food which was delicious. Felt just like I was in PR with the Latin beat and the savory food made me feel like I am on vacation!!

We found a small newly opened empanada shop. The service was so friendly I wish her lots of success! The food was very good too. We had beef and chicken empanadas and chicken loaded fries. We will for sure be back! Please go and support her!!!

This place was great! We met the owners outside of work and had to come try their food! After making it inside to see what the place was all about, we quickly fell in love with the interior decor. It's a must see in person. Especially if you have ever been to Puerto Rico! And then we check out the menu to find a great selection of, you can guess, Empanadas! And she changes it up regularly to add new options! I wish we were locals so we could try them all. We will definitely be back and hopefully we will be locals next time!

Met Melina and her mom today. These two ladies have mastered the art of the perfect Empanada. Light, thin, crispy dough that is not oily at all filled with the most delicious and innovative ingredients. Though that's all they do, they do it well. My fave....the beef with plantain and cheese, much like the Pastelon...yummy! And the guava and cheese is a nust have!
They're by the bike repair shop on 100 (East Moody) by the courthouse in Palm Coast. Loving the Latin growth in our town! Felicidades!

We are new to the area and decided to drop in while out and about. Everyone was so so nice inside. And the empanadas were yummy! We will definitely be back!

Delicious and fresh empanadas! My son is a picky eater and loved the cheesesteak and the beef. I had the chicken and the shrimp one. I also have the plantain one and was like a mini pastelon. Super good! They are filled and packed with tasty Puerto Rican flavors.

Inside is nice and clean. And the lady taking the order was exceptionally nice . Palm Coast restaurant's seem after the covid there either changing ingredients or skimping on the amount and raise the price . This place you have to try .and you will be back. Everything is great again very impressed overall 👍😊.. and delicious.....

Best spot to get some empanadas. The cheese and spinach is mad good. I mean really good.

Stopped by Melina's place when we were in the area and looking up quick eats on google. So glad we did. What a great place. The ladies are lovely, I assume it was Melina and her Mom. Super friendly and welcoming. The empanadas were fantastic. Great size and filled perfectly. They tasted great. I loved how they had no air pockets like so many empanadas do...every bite was pastry and filling. A must try. Will go anytime I am in the area!!

This place is amazing!! Great food and even better service. I had the cheese dog which i hadn't had since my grade school days in P.R. and almost cried, it was so delicious! Me and my G.F also tried the beef and cheese and the alfredo empanadas, they're by far the best empanadas we've ever had. It's a shame I don't live in Daytona or I'd come to Melina's everyday!

We were visiting Daytona Beach for a wedding and we found this hidden gem in Google. It’s a family business and the owner was so friendly. The empanadas were amazing! They were crispy and juicy ar the same time. Definitely coming back when we visit again!

Delicious empanadas! We tried the breakfast ones and the chicken & cheese. I'll definitely be back to try out more of the options- they were so yummy! Crunchy goodness! And a great selection of combinations to try! Very friendly customer service as well.

Very cute spot!! The atmosphere reminds me of Puerto Rico 🇵🇷. With the music and the way its decorated. It has a cute selfie room. Owner very sweet and makes everything fresh to order.. I'll be coming back!!

My first time to Melina’s empanadas in 100 moody Blvd. excellent service, very attentive staff. I ordered 4 chicken empanadas to go. To be honest, the flavor is out of this world. Delicious. They fry and prepare your order when you are there, everything was fresh, crunchy. Delicious. Highly recommended.

First time here and I got to say these empanadas are the bomb! They’re full of meat and not like other places that they don’t put enough meat and halfway empty

Ordered the beef, cheese with plantain, the spinach and the beef empanadas. They were soooo gooood!!!

What can I say? The empanadas were absolutely delicious! My husband and I had the beef, cheese and plantain, and the cheese and guava. The service was exceptional. What a great little spot! Worth the drive from St Augustine.

Staff is super nice. Empanadas are delicious and perfectly crispy. Excellent little spot for lunch, I will definitely be coming back!
