The company was made up of high school students from Linn Mar, Washington and Xavier. They were excellent at adapting to improv and the personalities shined with every challenge!
Don't forget the bus stop!
Thanks Two Guys and all.

Amazing cultural experience! Drove here from Des Moines with a group of friends to see a show. I was beyond amazed by the space and the wonderful talent. Truly a gem. The theatre is cozy, the couches and other seating extremely comfortable, the experience intimate, and the talent top notch. I'll be back and I highly recommend.

This is a quaint little storefront theater in downtown Marion. I went to see a murder mystery which they do several times a year. There is audience participation with questions to get clues and a chance to guess who the murderer is. They announce who won with much fanfare. It's so fun for everybody. It's all community volunteers and directors. The seating floor is couches and easy chairs. Feel free to bring your blanket, slippers and stuffies. The staff comes to your seat to take your order. At intermission they come and see if you want refills. And at the end of the show they come and take your check. You don't have to get up for any of it. The staff is super friendly and they give part of the profits to a chosen charity that rotates. Highly recommended!

Get there early as it is all general seating with an eclectic mix of chairs and loveseats, some more comfortable than others. The venue is a little small as is the stage but that really gives you an opportunity to to focus on what is being played out before you. I have really enjoyed my experiences with this venue.

Attended one of the comedy nights at Giving Tree Theater and it was so fun. The couches are comfy and they even serve you from your seat. Chris Schlichting gave a great performance and the owner, Jamie was so kind. Would definitely recommend.

My daughter and I were there Saturday night to see The Wild Women of Winedale. What a wonderful show! The lady that played Fanny Wild was so funny. It's one of the best shows we've ever seen.

This is true community theater! A very unique and intimate atmosphere that you won't find anywhere else. You can tell a lot of thought has gone into every aspect of their productions and that the actors are enjoying themselves. The concessions are locally sourced from small businesses and the owners are very welcoming! They also have plenty of social distancing measures in place so you can feel comfortable even in the current environment.

This is an absolutely wonderful venue. It's a small little theater that is full of comfy couches and overstuffed chairs. There is not a bad seat in the place. The stage is right up to the couches and the money goes to charity. They have snacks and random wine, beer, and sodas. I really enjoyed the show and the place was cozy. Great place to go on a date or just for a fun show. The owners are super friendly and gave a short speech before the show.

A very cozy way to enjoy a night at the theatre. The cast performance was incredible. Far beyond what I would expect in a suburban town of Iowa. Whether you live here or are passing through this experience is worth having.
