Very fast, and friendly service. Had my laptop RAM upgraded in less than a hour.

Went to best buy for a tablet they had what we wanted and was more than helpful.

The geek squad member who helped me was very understanding, insightful, and treated every concern I had very seriously. This was a PC repair and they walked me through every step and told me WHY they were doing it like that to avoid future problems. 10/10

These electronic devices are constructed by the manufacturer as inexpensively as possible, and so they break and malfunction. The geek squad warranty will fix any problem, no matter how it happened (except intentional damage--you'd have to be heading to the asylum). They are pleasant to deal with, get the job done in reasonable time, and even have progress updates for you during the process. They do everything by appointment so that they can devote their entire attention to the one customer before them. And you can usually get an appointment the same day. Another big benefit is that you don't have to deal with the manufacturer. In my experience, that can be daunting.
Best Buy wants to make you happy because they need return customers.
The warranty on my $1400 laptop cost me $300 for 3 years. But the item was marked down $300 at Christmas so I felt that I got a deal on the laptop and I put the money towards my peace of mind. For 3 years I don't have worry about a thing. And I don't have to be in any phone queues to deal with manufactures or have any arguments about repairs.
If you are not on a tight budget, get the geek squad warranty. You'll be glad you did.

The Geek Squad member treated me with respect and explained everything to me so I could understand what he was doing to solve my problem. I would totally recommend them to all my friends & family.

Bought tv at Best Buy and paid for Geek Squad to deliver and hook up. given the date and time frame, 7am -7pm. waited for 12 hours and no one showed up and not even a phone call. the next day got a call about how I liked the service and tv and I will leave it to your imagination as to what I said. and no one could give a S---.

It's a specifically related to their phone tree service. I need to ask a specific question about my local store and the woman on the phone adamantly refused to transfer me to the store because they were too busy even though she could not answer my question regarding a product that they may or may not be able to fix specifically in that store and I would be willing to wait on hold for that store until an associate would become available.
