Wolfe's Den

Wow this place is really cool and off the hook I had such a great time here playing pool and drinking cold beer on a hot day. The place is very clean and the bartenders are friendly and knowledgeable on drinks. I'll definitely be going back soon.
PS the customers made me feel right at home and made my experience that much of a wonderful one.

We really enjoy this place! Outside and Inside seating choices are wonderful. The food is very good, the service is great, prices are super, and the other patrons are always nice. Its a welcoming environment. We've met the owner. She's a delightful, personable, friendly lady.Tonight we had the Old Bay wings, crab balls, fries, a Bloody Mary, pickle shots, and an angry orchard.

First time back in 20 years. It’s not the wolfs den I remember. Amazing change. Food was home cooked and great. MD crab soup was just like my mom used to make. Great crowd too! I’ll be back

Great local bar. Great food for the price. My go to is the chicken quesadilla. Everyone is super friendly and attentive.

1st time there real super staff took care of a lot of people food is very good and quick to be served great selection of beers also. Definitely going back!! Next time take some pictures to show the excellence of the place.

Great atmosphere, an amazing place to have a social gathering. They have pool tables, pickle shots, pull tabs and amazing food. The staff are welcoming and so are the locals.
The (fresh) parm garlic wing are my personal favorite.

This is literally the best bar I have ever been to. Incredible prices, delicious food and drinks, and friendly service. I was there for 3 hours. I got several drinks, a burger, french fries, chicken wings and potato chips for only $37 AFTER A 25% TIP! It was amazing. I will definitely be back if I'm in the area.

Love the food here. Fresh and yummy. My husband always gets the wolf's burger , I get different things all the time , 😁 There club sandwich with turkey and ham is one of my favorites . Also there fried Zucchini what can I say but yummy. 😋

The Wolfe's Den....hold on to ur britches...has surprisingly great food - the dinner menu starts after 4pm and I was shocked at how good the teriyaki-basted wings and the steamers (or Sloppy Joe's depending on where ur from) were. Like...'Shocked' isn't even the right word to do my surprise of the awesome taste of the food any justice. 'Shocked' would be a dramatic understatement. You wouldn't think to expect such great food from a little dingy bar, but what I ordered really, really exceeded my expectations. And I had a drunk buddy with me who totally backed me up on the quality of the flavor on his taste buds. And it's not cause we were drinking, either. The food would have been just as great without any alcohol.
Plus, the atmosphere's nice there. I've never encountered an issue/fight with anyone when I've been there. The bar has got 2 pool tables ($1/game), tip jars/Keno, booze, and stellar menu food...not just bar food, but food from a grill/kitchen in back. It pretty much has everything one looks for in a good bar...but sorry my perv fam...no strippers or topless dancers. I'll have to get ur fill of that somewhere else. But, take the non-pervs of ur crew to The Wolfe's Den and u and ur boys will be awe-struck at the food....but only after 4pm, though...

This place is one of the two staples that Smithsburg is known for (the other being The Dixie Eatery). ♥ This place has been around for awhile, and it is a common meet up for the folks around here. It’s a wonderful way to go out and have a good time. They have great food, great drinks, and great prices. My dad and his buddies used to come here A LOT. It is actually where my mom and dad met (in December of 1986). Don’t forget to shoot a game of pool while you’re there! Anyway, Great staff, great service. GO HERE.

Washington County's hidden gem. Great beer and sour selection as well as the best bar food ever. Wings and burgers are on point. Fried pickles, a must have!!!

My family have ordered food to go from Wolfe's Den a few times and we have been completely satisfied with the food. The prices and the amount of food you receive are excellent. Drinks are excellent and I would definitely recommend Wolfe's Den for your lunch or dinner needs anytime.

So cozy! Covid closure made time for refurbishment and it really shows! We visited here intermittently before covid and it was always a pleasant visit. Our visit today was even better. New counters, new pool table felt, new lighting, new floor and new bathrooms were all wonderful. Service was impeccable and the crispy pizza done right at the bar was yummy. Keno, pull tabs, billiards, football on the multiple screens and an itunes jukebox are all here. Three bottle beers, two mixed drinks and a pizza for $25.00!

Good place to wined down or turn it up. Great bartenders. My wife and I just moved here a couple months ago in everyone was very welcoming.
