I love this café! They have everything you need and check all the boxes. The drinks are delicious and flavorful and the food is so good. The service is quick and the staff are also incredibly friendly and kind. The atmosphere is very cozy and clean, with such a beautiful interior. There is plenty of parking in the plaza. A must visit!

This place is a gem!! For being such a new coffee shop I expected some flaws just like every other new business. That was definitely not the case! The atmosphere is great! Nice and bright but not too bright and all the small details pull it all together. We received our coffee quickly, and wow was it good! Probably the best I have had in the Rochester area in a long time. Shortly after we got our food and that as well was fantastic. Definitely coming back very soon!!

Excellent spot! Large interior that is well laid out.
My breakfast sandwich was double size that I was expecting- fresh made eggs and crispy bacon. Very reasonable price.
I had the banana brew- a frothy iced coffee with banana puree, dates, almond milk and coffee. Not a smoothie, but a tad thicker than your normal iced coffee.

The latte was balanced & the club croissant sandwich was great. Also, the ladies at the counter were nice( : Note, no loud music was played which is so nice & not distracting like how most places are.

I only get a double espresso - I’m a simple human when it comes to coffee. But holy cow, is it GOOD. My coworker and I work around the corner, and we could go there 100 times a day. Their staff is fantastic, they let me know they’re bringing in gluten-free options soon, as one of their own workers has celiacs, so they’re not only doing the research, but taking the time to listen to their customers needs. I never leave reviews, but this one is worth leaving. The food menu looks incredible, it’s super clean, friendly, warm, and welcoming. 10/10 recommend!

My first lunch order from Steven James left me very impressed! A super easy order ahead web site offers a nice selection of customizable sandwiches, along with salads, soups and more. I was very happy with my tuna melt which tasted very fresh and well seasoned with bread that was toasted to perfection with just the right amount of crunch. The staff was friendly and the interior of the shop was clean spacious and tastefully designed. I will be back!

Great new coffee shop in East Rochester. The coffee is very good and they just started offering gluten free bread, which was perfect for a breakfast sandwich!

I pass 4 coffee shops in Penfield on my way to Steven James in East Rochester! I’m working my way through the lattes and the menu. Coffees are rich and smooth. The southwest salad is fresh and tasty. The staff is top notch - welcoming, knowledgeable about the menu, and helpful. Add the plentiful parking and the patio and this spot is just about perfect.

Stopped in for a second day in a row and had breakfast this time. So good. Super cute spot, cozy and friendly staff. Lattes were delicious as were our breakfast sandwiches. Even brought our toddler - who very much enjoyed some yogurt parfait. SO happy to have this place nearby and hope word spreads!

Went for my first time today. Loved it! Will definitely be a regular spot. Blueberry matcha with vanilla cold foam was fantastic. Chocolate chip cookie was perfect, everything I want in a cookie. And the California club was delicious as well!

Beautiful spot! I got and iced Chai and the Chicken Saland sandwich on a croissant, both were delicious, especially the Chai. Friendly service, very spacious with plenty of inside and outside seating, and nice decor. Bonus points because they have high chairs and a changing table!

This has become my new favorite coffee place!! It is so cute on the inside and they always provide the best coffee and service. I recommend to anyone looking for a new spot!

Not only was the staff very friendly and helpful, the food and coffee was excellent! They offer a wide variety of food and drinks and have gluten free options for fellow GF friends. Make sure you stop by and check them out if you are in the area!

Everyone was super friendly, iced vanilla latte was great and the cinnamon rolls were fantastic! Excited to have this place in East Rochester.

Coffee is pretty good and the atmosphere is excellent. I could see myself bringing a laptop or book and spending an hour enjoying the vibe.

This place is amazing. You have to try this. Place out.
