My recent visit to Nino's was fantastic, but it was Kyra's chocolate malted milkshake that truly stole the show. It was like a symphony of flavor in a cup - rich, creamy chocolate ice cream perfectly blended with a delightful malty accent. Each sip was a pure indulgence, a testament to Kyra's milkshake-making magic.

Great food. Great staff, including management, who not only is always helping patrons but is very supportive of her staff. The environment is warm and welcoming. I make it a point to stop in every time I am in the kingston area to get the Italian cookies for my mom.

First, the sammies. I never expected to find an Italian Sub or a Meatball sub this good from such a cute little place. The owners sure know their ingredients! Fresh, delicious and LOADED sandwiches are clearly their way to show the love.

Second, the ice cream. Holy cow this stuff is good! Clearly a premium product but not one overloaded with sugar or extra dairy fat to hide no flavor. This stuff is DELICIOUS! The strawberry ice cream tastes like actual fresh strawberries. The chocolate ice cream has all the nuances of top quality chocolate, even that cold. The add ins in the novelty flavors are plentiful but not overwhelming so the rich, creamy flavors of the ice cream still come through.

Third, the portions. Enormous. Come hungry. (They could charge a lot more but we aren't going to say that out loud, are we?)

Fourth, the people. As a former restaurant owner, I know what it takes to provide such fantastic food and that can take a LOT out of you. The people here act like you are their only customer and your closest friend. The owner is incredibly helpful and kind and patient and clearly delivers that top-down excellence that is so rare in the food industry.

We would walk uphill both ways in the sleet to get anything from Nino's and if you haven't visited them yet, you are sorely missing out.

Whenever I'm craving an Italian sub I'll drive an extra 5 minutes for it! One of the best on the south shore, for sure.

The homemade goods in the freezer are great, always tempting to grab a few things while waiting for a sub. Cannolis are great too.

Amazing little spot to grab a quick bite to eat. The ladies that work behind the counter are so sweet! Cold cut sandwiches, ready to eat calzones / slices of pizza, soups,fresh made to order cannolis 😋 Soooooo good!!! (And much more) Still need to try the ice cream window but no doubt it will be equally as delicious!

Stumbled across this deli while driving through the town. Trust me, stop and get something. I got pizza, chicken calzon and a rice and cheese ball(forgot the actual name) all fresh and delicious. With a drink only 10.00 home made meals ready to go and heat up there also. I'll take a ride back for more. Friendly ladies quick to help out. If I had room. I would have gotten some ice cream also.

Excellent little spot in the silver lake area. We stopped for ice-cream early in the season with our pup Patty. The staff were friendly and even had dog treats for our pup. Ice-cream was delicious too!

Nice little shop close by with sandwiches and Italian food. Prices are very reasonable. They also now accept credit for purchases over $10. I had one of the best pastrami sandwiches from here. Lastly, go on Saturday for homemade arancini.

Very nice little place to stop for sure. They are using some of the best deli Meats on the market in there sandwiches. I only know this cause I worked at a deli years ago. U definately get what u ask for and very friendly staff. If ur in area check it out

I have mobility issues and this is the only ice cream place that I found would deliver me a ice cream curbside. I live one minute away from a ice cream store in halifax and they won’t do it. 🙁

Would love to see ninos add dietetic friendly sweets to their menu. 🤗

Nice people own and run this shop. I've been buying homemade donuts. Fresh and delicious! Rumor has it the sandwiches are worth trying for lunch.

Ninos is always very accomadating to all kids in the Silver Lake school district. They are extremely welcoming when 20 kids show up after a track meet for ice cream even giving us free toppings. I have never had a bad meal from here and don’t expect to anytime soon. I recommend ninos to any person who is looking for a quick well made lunch on the go or to sit and enjoy.

Family owned and operated. Food is plentiful portions and fresh. Have used catering a few times. Very reasonable and food is delicious...❤

Just started off national pizza day the right way cheese pizza was so amazing and the meat ball sub with the sauce transported me back to the home land couldn’t recommend this place enough great place and friendly people Ninos gets the official jayybone stamp of approval will be back again!

I'm crazy for fly fishing fudge, in a dish with colored sprinkles and a cone. Always great 👍

I popped in for some frozen dinners (Baked Ziti and stuffed shells). I have already tried thier pizza and calzones, delish!
