Cantina Taco

This is a great taco place. Creative and fresh taco options for any palate. The comes out quick and fresh. Has some outside seating in the court area. Staff was friendly and helpful. The facility was clean and tidy

Tacos to die for. Tortillas were warm, salsa was fresh, and my soyrizo was so tasty. My family loves the meat options but for vegetarians, I highly recommend this place as well. Also can’t forget to mention they offer local beers.

Cantina Taco has absolutely the best steak tacos! Great atmosphere and wonderful workers! They will go out of their way to make your visit pleasurable! I will come here again and again, thankyou Cantina Taco!!

The staff welcomes me with a smile everytime I am there. I don't make it in as often as I'd like yet they treat me like a regular.

Delicious, I got the chicken & shrimp build your own nachos, super yummy and worth the money 😋 chicken was super good, idk if they get it local but it was good big chunks not little dried out pieces like a lot of other restaurants I've had lately. Shrimp is also good, it's Illinois so I doubt it's local lol but was definitely fresher than shrimp I've had other more expensive places.
I had a little scoop left so I got a side order of chips to go and had it as my midnight snack, but I always have extra toppings I don't really pile up stuff on my chips. My boyfriend got the vegetarian chorizo burrito and loved it, sorry no photo 🌯
Also they have crunchy ice good for munching on so get a fountain drink

Great plant based and vegetarian options. High quality ingredients great flavors and hot salsas! Definitely on the list for a return trip with friends and family. Awesome fast alternative to standard chains.

My daughter had a bad day,to cheer her up we went to Cantina Taco. We have dined in at both of their locations...Excellent. we order it delivered when we are busy.. always fast, hot, well packed and delicious. Every way to experience Cantina Taco is very good.

My entire family loves taco bowls. When we first heard about Cantina Taco, we knew we had to try it. We were SO glad we did!
Ever since not long after they opened, we have gotten carry-out at least a couple of times per month and some months, significantly more.
Their taco bowls are simply the best and we've tried the ones at every place in town we know of them to exist! The portions are generous and we never finish a meal able to eat anything more.
The staff is always so friendly and happy to take/serve our order.
In an age where good customer service is so hard to find, Cantina Taco is one of the rare places where it still exists!

Food is fast fresh and delicious. Regularly eat here with friends and family.

Service is the best in town, and Hunter does an amazing job with customer service and creating a fun welcoming environment!

First time ordering from Cantina taco and I got the 10 pack take home tacos. It was extra for pork instead of chicken but ok. Was extra for jalapeños and extra cheese but not to bad. Total was about 3.30 per taco. Now on to quality the pork was cold (which it is supposed to be for take home pack) but when I say it was juicy enough to throw in a skillet and cook up without getting super dry and rubbery i mean it excellently done. Next the toppings, all the toppings were super fresh and well portioned for the amount of tacos recieved. Would have liked a little more meat based on how we dished them up but who wouldn't. Don't let the sauce trick you, you'd think the green is mild and you'd be wrong. Queso was to die for. The mild salsa was just their taco sauce so a little disappointed there. Overall I was looking for fresh tacos to hit a spot and they did the trick fantastically. Well worth a try! I will be back soon.

Everything fresh. Vegan options. They even have craft beer on draft.

Building was great, cashier was great, the food wasn't the best but it wasn't by any means bad. Taste like downtown Mexican fast casual.

I my order was for delivery, and I have to say everything we ordered was fresh and seasoned just the right way. We had the Bowls, chips and Salsa. The portions were decent

I chaperoned a field trip with 25 high school students here where the owners graciosly shared their wisdom about starting and running a successful business. They answered all of the students' questions and provided them (and myself) with a delicous taco bar. All of the food was prepared fresh by the restaurant and was amazing! Thank you for the wonderful experience for our kids!

This was probably the best quesadilla I’ve ever had. I’m vegetarian and it didn’t feel like I was missing out on anything by skipping on meat. Soo yummy, crispy and filling. My partner got the mango habanero and said it was so delicious he could drink it straight. Highly recommend this place for reasonably priced, phenomenal food.

My boss offered up the opportunity to have birthday burritos for our team for our meal for our special day... I hadn’t tried this place yet so I asked to try Cantina for my treat for the staff. This place has all the fixings for a delicious meal... it’s like a local chipotle but better. All the burritos were amazing. The one staff member who ordered tacos wasn’t all that pleased. They make it easy for vegans and carnivores alike to have all their flavor delights met. I’m definitely a fan. Love at first bite. Thank you for the delicious birthday meal. It definitely added to my RAD day.

The food was absolutely delicious! I got a chorizo quesadilla (pregnancy craving 😝) and this is the first place that made it perfectly. Husband got tacos and they were awesome too! And that horchata 👌🏼 Thanks for a great eating spot whenever we visit Rockford now!
