Caliber Collision

Caliber did a fantastic job replacing the door of my 2017 Mk7 VW GTI. This car is my baby, and I was really upset when someone did a hit and run and damaged the driver door. They worked with my insurance and there were zero hiccups along the way. Shout out to George for understanding how much this car means to me (car guy to car guy) and for his outstanding customer service. See my before and after pics to see how good of a job they did.

Outstanding experience. We used Caliber for both an insurance issue that popped up as an emergency and a small self-inflicted injury that we had put off as the estimates from other shops were just not worth getting it fixed. The cost, quality and customer service were amazing. Especially the customer service. Everyone we interacted with, both in-person and on the phone were professional and personable. Will never go anywhere else should the deer have it out for us in the future.

We were extremely pleased with our experience with this auto body shop. Our vehicle was rear-ended by another driver, so we selected Caliber Collision to repair it. They were prompt, and kept us updated every couple of days on the progress (ordering the parts, installing, etc.) We let them know that we had a trip planned and would really like to have the vehicle back a couple of days earlier than they had estimated. They were able to get it to us early, so we were grateful. George, in particular, was very effective in communicating with us. We recommend this location!

Where do I begin?!?
I had front damage to my car which they fixed and kept me updated on every step of the way. It looked brand new. When I had a concern they immediately fixed it for me. The customer service is amazing and everyone I came into contact with was professional, kind, and welcoming. They are the best and I will continue to use them over and over again!

I had front end damage repaired on my 2024 mustang. An absolutely fantastic experience! Excellent and super fast. Melissa, George, Patrick and the whole staff were fabulous. I highly recommend and would refer to them as the best collision and body shop in the area.

My car was damaged while parked. Caliber Collision did an excellent job of installing new parts and totally refinishing the areas of scraped paint. It was a pleasure to deal with them and my car looks better than ever!

They did an amazing job with my 2020 nissan murano. I hit a deer and needed to have the front bumper, side panel and both lights replaced. Not only did they replace everything and paint it back to the color of my car, but they also cleaned the inside of my car. They got my car done earlier them projected and communicated with me the entire time. The staff is friendly and went above what I expected they would do. Would definitely recommend!

10/10 ! My experience with Caliber Collison on Seminole trail was amazing! They called me everyday or two giving me updates about where my vehicle was in repairs, answered any questions & took me in fast! I brought my jeep in last tuesday & she was ready a week later ( today ) . SUPER fast & reliable! I recommend everyone going to this location. George was amazing! Melissa offered the best customer service & was so sweet! I will recommend them to everyone!!

Obviously car accidents are stressful - but Patrick and his team made the aftermath very easy for me. I did my research on local shops because I wanted my truck brought back to new condition by professionals. I am so glad I went there - they were able to get me in the same day as my estimate, Patrick (the manager) even gave me a ride to Avis so I could pick up my rental car! George in the office was really helpful at updating me every step of the way by text - I never had to ask them what was going on. They told me it might take a week, but I had my truck back looking better than new in 3 days. Thanks guys I would 100% come back (i hope i dont have to!) but I highly recommend their service and the whole experience.

Marco made the entire process so easy. He was proactive in letting me know what was going on in the repair process and they did a great job fixing all the theft damage on my car. Such a quick and smooth experience!

Repair looks beautiful, communication was great. I was almost home when I realized that the repaired directional didn't work. I was pretty stressed when I called to tell the shop about it but they asked if I could come right back and once I did they had it fixed in about 3 minutes. I would absolutely go here again.

I could not have higher trust for and praise in recommending Caliber Collision in Charlottesville on Seminole Trail for auto repairs. Throughout the entire process of delivering vehicle by tow, assessing needs, ordering parts, and completing the repairs, the entire staff was welcoming and professionally adept. While waiting for parts to be delivered, I received multiple texts and phone calls with updates and reassurances. When I picked up my vehicle, it had been thoroughly cleaned inside and out and delivered with a full tank of gas. You can't get better than these folks!

I came here looking to have some body work corrected after another body shop failed to fix it properly. Since I was going to be paying out of pocket on this one, I wanted to get some advice and options. Patrick, the GM, looked over the vehicle personally. It was immediately apparent that he is an expert in his industry, and prefers to deal in facts rather than "what if's." He detailed the proper repair methodology, offered to work with us within our budget, and took pictures to backup his plan. Throughout the repair, we received DAILY communications, updates, findings, and next steps. Although the initial estimate was 1 week, we gladly accepted the revised timeline of 2 weeks. The result was absolutely worth the wait. The repair was done right, welded instead of filled, and on budget. The paint job is flawless. There is no doubt that this is where I should have come to begin with. The service didn't stop with Patrick, either. Everyone we met there was professional. George, who actually performed the repair, texted us throughout the process with updates. The office is clean, pleasant, and serves hot coffee. Melissa at the front desk is super nice and quick to process paperwork. If you find yourself in need of an auto body shop, don't hesitate to make this your first and only stop. Superb experience and happy to be supporting a local business.

I was extremely happy with the friendly & excellent service provided by Caliber from the beginning to the end! Melissa & George were amazing on scheduling my appointment and keeping me up-to-date, including any additional tasks. Corey went the extra mile by staying late so that I can get my vehicle on time. Really appreciated that effort!!! 😊 To top it off, Patrick seamlessly handled some minor needed adjustments! It is such an amazing team!! I would highly recommend their services!!! After colliding with a deer, we worked with Nationwide to find a good body repair shop for our 2015 Chrysler Town & Country minivan. Collision Caliber on Seminole Trail had a 5.0 star rating with completely positive reviews. So I chose to go there. I’m thrilled to say that I can cheerfully add my own 5.0 star rating. George and his team kept communication flowing even telling me in his update when the next one would come.

This is the second time I have brought my vehicle there due to animal damage and they have went beyond my expectations on getting the job done right. Excellent customer service from start to finish. Will have your vehicle back to showroom status in a matter of days and will leave you speechless!!!!!

This firm is awesome. We stopped in to arrange an appointment for an estimate on a front bumper that had come loose. An out of town service center near where it happened told us they couldn't repair it and we needed a body shop. I looked at the reviews online for Caliber, saw they were all good, and decided to stop in. They quickly helped us at the front desk, and within a few minutes someone came out to say they could look at it right then. We were told if we could wait 10-15 minutes, they could probably snap it back into place. 5 minutes later our car was fixed for no charge. They couldn't have been more friendly or helpful.

Our kids were recently involved in an accident where the other driver ran a red light causing the seat belts to lock and front end damage. I contacted our insurance agency, Progressive, regarding repairs. The adjuster referred us to another repair location. Upon looking them up, I was not impressed with their reviews. I saw Caliber Collision, read their reviews and contacted my insurance adjuster saying that I wanted to go to this location. Thank you to all who posted favorable reviews as we are new to the area and they made our decision easy.

Our adjuster called Caliber Collision and said she had made arrangements for me to drop off the vehicle. Upon arrival at Caliber Collision, I was informed that all the adjuster had done was to ask if they had any openings and hung up. They had no information about the car, our accident, etc.

Rather than tell us they couldn't help us, Melissa, asked her team members if they could help us. She told us they had someone from Progressive that they worked with and that they would contact him.

Meanwhile we found out that it should have gone through the other driver's insurance. The other insurance company was slow to move on the estimate so George wrote the estimate himself and submitted it to the insurance which greatly aided in speeding up the repairs.

I appreciated the text updates as to the status of the parts and the repairs that George continued to provide.

We just picked up the vehicle and it looks amazing!

The people at Caliber Collision in Charlottesville on 29 and rail road are the sweetest customer service oriented people I’ve ever met at a Collision Shop. They are kind and personable. They are respectful and explain things in a way that is understandable without being condescending. They set time expectations and then delivered early on the repair.

During my visit to the lobby front desk lady was incredibly kind. She was compassionate with the amount of stress that a Collision causes, and was able to make me laugh.

I spoke to the estimator, the store manager several repair people in the assistant store manager during my visit. You could tell that they were all a big family. They were all talking and laughing which made me feel very comfortable.
