We ordered the bahn mi and the steak fajita burrito as well as chips and queso + brownies 🤤 everything was delicious except the chips and queso that was good but not awesome like the bahn mi.

We went on a Thursday around 4 it was nice and quite we missed the rush and had a great time. Everything was very clean and cozy. We can't wait to come play more games here and drag our friends along :)

What a fabulous place to spend an afternoon or evening. I spend several hours with my wife playing different board games, drinking beers and eating various dishes from their on site restaurant. I wish this place was in Phoenix! If you like board games, come try this place out. There is plenty of room to play any board game you want, and enjoy the refreshments too. The hosts were wonderful! They taught us rules to games we were not familiar with, and checked on us for drink refills and food...but weren't hovering. Best afternoon in Denver!

The hostess asked where we would like to sit, offered the Train, explained their process really well before handing us over to our waiter. The mixed drinks were fantastic, yet small. Doesn't bother me, as I got to try more this way. The Sparkly Apple cocktail was 10/10. get that! Food was insanely good, I was NOT expecting that. Ordered the Buddha bowl with chicken and the beef bulgogi. Even without the games, this place is worth checking out. We chose a Level 2 game (we play games that they ranked level 3 & 4 at home, so 2 sounded perfect). I'll be back!

Unique date night or family fun night idea. We had the Pretzels, Two different kinds of pizza, a mojito, strawberry margarita and blueberry margaritas and it was all delicious. Service was great. Very cool atmosphere, they have private rooms you can reserve for meetings or just fun game nights. Sooo many games to choose from. Locally owned, family operated business. They do a great job. They recommendEd games they thought our family would enjoy and they were perfect based on the various ages of our group. Even the 3 year old enjoyed it. Will definitely be back

If I could give this place more stars I would. We stumbled upon it trying to find a unique date night and have been hooked ever since. The train room is so cute and the service is amazing. Everything is reasonably priced and the variety of games they have is impressive. We've gotten the pizza and pretzels and everything's been yummy. They also have a great selection of kids games so I've taken our kids here also. Highly recommend!

A delightful place to spend an afternoon or evening. There’s nothing like a sweet environment that welcomes patrons to slow down, partake in a game, indulge in leisurely conversation, and enjoy an unhurried meal. Friendly staff, fun environment, oodles of game and tasty food and drink. 10/10. Highly recommended.

This place is awesome! The unique atmosphere with train aesthetic and friendly service makes it stand out to me amongst other board game place options. Food and drinks were delicious, including fresh brewed coffee when we asked which was really sweet. The board game binder helped us find a fun new game with ease, and we could play, eat, and drink for hours. If you like board games then you gotta check this place out!

While the food here isn’t super great, that’s not why you go! We recently spent a date night here, and had SO MUCH FUN! There are so many games to choose from and you can play as many as you want during your visit. We can’t wait to come back!

The best mac n cheese I've ever had. Especially with the green chili added. The service was very attentive and personalized too. The games offered made it a unique experience. We will be back!

Wonderful place to play any and all board games! They have over 500+ available for you and your group to play! Great selection of food and drinks too! That's my favorite part. So many other board games places you can't have food or drinks or a full meal! Here, you don't have to stop gaming to eat! Would highly recommend to anyone!

This place is so cool. Love the concept! Celebrated a birthday in one of the train rooms. This room is designed to simulate riding on a train while enjoying yummy food, great cocktails, and playing board games. Will definitely return!

This place hits on so many levels and that's what makes it so great.
First off the atmosphere is exceptional, the creation of a train simulation is an amazing setting for games and food.
It has to be said that the staff knows what they're doing. Whether it's on the food, games, or beverages. I can't emphasize it enough ask the staff about the games. We needed a suggestion for a game and with our time constraints and group size we were not only suggested a game, which will be added to our personal collection, but walked us through how to actually play the game.
The food is great. We did the tots for two, pulled pork, and steak sandwiches, it was all delicious.
They have a great selection of drinks. Fun cocktails, and a rotating selection of draft beers keep it interesting while having a great selection of bottled beers.
This is a place for kids of all ages. With board games that range from the youngest members of the family to the oldest kids at heart.
There's almost a try it before you buy thing happening here. You can sit and try out games, and if you like it, buy it.
Can't recommend this place enough

We LOVED this place. What a cool idea! This is a combination board game store and bar/restaurant. The whole inside is themed like you're on a train. Parts of the restaurant are set up like train cars with "windows" that display rolling country side. They have snacks and bar type food, all of which were pretty tasty. We had chips and salsa (the salsa was delicious), Hawaiian BLT, Chicken Tenders, and the Coffee Cake. No complaints on any of that.

The best part was how friendly and attentive the staff were throughout our entire experience. They were very knowledgeable about all the games they had in the games library as well as for sale. They made great recommendations, were able to explain how to play the game we picked to play during our meal, and overall were very friendly and personable. I can see this becoming one of our "go-to" spots and we will be bringing friends and/or family next time we come.

I loved the whole experience. The food was good, the game library is huge, the atmosphere is so cool. I love the concept. I got to talk to the owner and he was super nice and seems to really love what he’s doing! Unique and fun experience, I will definitely be back!

Visiting from Nashville the place was recommended by a local board game group. This place did not disappoint. Too often game cafes have mediocre food and drink selection, but this place had great food. Highly recommend this place for the atmosphere and over all experience. I'd give it more stars if it were an option. The staff was great and knowledgeable. The game selection was quite extensive and if I lived closer I'd likely visit at least once a week.

What a great local find! They have over 600 games to play at all skill levels (even Chutes & Ladders for kiddos). The atmosphere is top notch; you won’t find a place like it anywhere south of Denver. The food is pretty good and the cocktails are great. A wonderful place to spend an evening.

I believe it is so important these days for restaurants and bars to have something unique and special to attract and entice more people to get out. Game Train definitely does. I love it when I see someone’s idea or concept acted on and manifested. I’ve been on few trains and the attention to detail is great. Really looks and feels like you are on a dinner train. Decor and interior design is awesome. Great variety of drinks and food. And if that’s not enough, they have any game you’d want to play. I did a little magic here and the people are great as well as the employees. Family owed and can really tell they love what they do. Wish them all the success and looking forward to going back soon.

Some places are unassuming on the outside but intricate and amazing inside. This is Game Train. Every detail of the atmosphere, the attentiveness to the staff, the selection of games, the quality of the food, the fun drinks….you could not ask for a better place to spend an evening with friends. And thank you to our server who came in on her day off to accommodate our large group!

This place is incredible! They have everything you could hope for and more. Full bar, wine, beer on tap, high quality food, luxurious decor, elegant private rooms, comfortable seating, attentive/friendly staff, more games than you can imagine, and and unique experience you just can't find anywhere else. They just opened their coffee shop and I'm hooked! They have several options, including my favorite coffee (Death Wish), and they are FAR superior to those chain stores! (You know, the evil green empire types). I love the Sunshine rolls that they get from a local Norwegian baker. You can even add some booze to your coffee! <3 I have searched for a long time to find a place that will do this! I don't like to play favorites, but Garrick is definitely my favorite server! Honestly though, I have enjoyed every staff member I met. They do events, so I'm hoping to do a team building event for my staff. I saw the decorations for a wedding that they hosted, and it was GORGEOUS! I just can't stop raving about this place! I can bring my kids, I can bring a date, I can have a work meeting, I can have a family game night, my son goes to their teen D&D group and I can drink and hang out while he has his fun.

This place is so cool. The decor is amazing, it’s so pretty I had to take several photos. The staff are nice and friendly, the owner even sat down and taught me to play a new game while I was waiting for my friends to arrive. The food is also really good, was too full to try dessert though. All in all it was a great night out.
