This is a very nice place to visit and experience nature.

I exercise regularly and found it really relaxing and enjoyable.

North Peninsula State Park is one of a few places where you can walk and enjoy nature with your family, friends, or even kids.

There is longer walking trails and trails that you can take shortcuts on to make the distance shorter.

I am not aware of any Florida State Parks that you can go and enjoy 😉 the outdoors and see NO PEOPLE!

I enter via a trail that begins at the Volusia County line as I walk south from my home 🏡 in Flagler County.

I am surrounded by the most amazing and beautiful sights as I stroll 🚶‍♂ through this place.

The trail extends to the power lines where you can turn around and go back for a three mile walk in total.

Or you can proceed south to the longest route and end up at High Bridge road just east of the draw bridge.

A fantastic place for folks of all ages!

If you're a dog owner the trails are excellent for you and your fury friends. They must remain on leash at all times. There is no beach play for dogs here, a little pond inlet but they can't actually go on the real beaches. The trails were a lot more beautiful than expected. Parking is free so it's definitely worth the visit.

Trailhead and beach access are separated by A1A. There are bathrooms at the Coastal Strand trailhead along with benches and picnic tables. Most of the trail is in direct sunlight. Lots of birds and signs of wildlife. Well-marked trail.

This was a great find. It has everything for the active person. You the Halifax river and the Atlantic Ocean for fishing, kayaking, and swimming. You can go hiking biking or site seeing. My favorite experience was this pine tree I found. It grows like a Live Oak tree.

Super beautiful! So worth the walk! It's covered in a tree canopy! You get to see Florida's natural beauty on this trail! It's also a beautiful spot for pick nicks!!!

We love this trail, as boyscouts we need to get many hikes in for different reasons. There are clearly marked trails, benches to rest on the way, and has always been a dry trail even after a storm. We were able to stop and cook meals, the boys had to do for a merit badge, and the people walking the trail were very friendly. It's a place we have visited often. They have clean bathrooms and picnic tables and parking as well.

Beautiful & peaceful park. As Ralph Waldo Emerson said, "Adopt the pace of Nature." Perfect park to do that in!!

Beautifully preserved piece of nature! We actually passed through on accident, on our way up to St. Augustine, but the whole landscape was so captivating, we had to stop the car and explore!

The walking trail was a lot of fun with amazing scenery, plenty of wildlife, and a bunch of different sorts of insects if youre into that. overall, this is one of the most fun trails I have been to during my stay in florida.

Well maintained trails. Coastal scrub. Nice restrooms. Free. No bikes. Dogs allowed, but I would not recommend bringing a dog because there are alligators & venomous snakes native to the area.

Beautiful 2 mile loop, as close to "hiking" as exists in Florida.
