Uncle Lenny's Country Cafe

My husband & I were out early on a sunday morning and came across this cute little Cafe and we stopped to have breakfast this was the best place I have eaten breakfast in along time. It is an older building and it is very charming inside nothing fancy but that's what the charm is all about they only accept Cash or Checks. The fried potatoes are out of this world and their homemade biscuits & white gravy. compliments to the Chief. (Which happens to be the server's Dad). Also the total cost of our breakfast wasnt even $11.00 we plan to go back for lunch and dinner.

Very good Country style buffet. On the left side is a salad bar, on the right is usually a couple of meats and several veggies. Just discovered this place a couple of months ago and have probably been 10 times already. The location is out of the way for me so I have to make a special trip to Fairview to go here but I enjoy it and look forward to eating there. Reasonably priced, and bring good old-fashioned US currency because they only accept cash $!

This place is kinda a hidden gem but it’s really good. We got the patty melt burgers and a double bacon burgers with fries and onions rings. The prices was so low a family of 4 ate for 22.18 This couple has been there 20 years she said when I asked. Highly recommend.

Yeah you're probably wondering why I gave this restaurant 5 stars. Well for me its simple; they have the best fried catfish I've ever had in my life. The large order is optimal, so bring a big appetite. Avoid the bathrooms if possible, that's the only negative. Holly & her staff are off the charts regarding their hospitality, though partial to their local clientele. Find out for yourself when you're craving catfish!

The food was excellent. The fried chicken was at least as good as my wife's, mother's and Grandmother's and that's saying another. Best part is when I went pay the bill. My jaw wanted to drop. Not use to paying that little for good food.

First time going and I was surprised. The sweetest people work there, loved my cheeseburger and fries, and nothing fancy about the decor. It's good old county eats while eating at a kitchen table.

Add another ringing endorsement to the list! Clearly a local favorite and it’s easy to see why. The atmosphere is great for starting the day (or continuing work). You get great service, great prices, and great food in nice portions.

Excellent buffet- the fried chicken is amazing. Very tasty. Like stepping back in time, meals are consistently well prepared. Experience true Down home cooking.

The service and food was amazing. I had some of their fried chicken and it was the best fried chicken I have ever eaten. Definitely planning to go back there to eat again the next time I'm back down in Tennessee

Another great find and absolutely worth the trip to Fairview TN from wherever you might be.. the place looks a little dated from the road so we hesitated for some time before visiting but boy oh boy were we missing out..
some of the best freshest food we've ever had and the Friday all you can eat fish buffet is amazing.. no exceptions, everything on the buffet was prepared fresh and delicious..
have gone back a couple of times since to see if this fabulous experience is consistent and happy to report emphatically yes!
As mentioned the place is a little dated and the atmosphere is a country, local community feel which actually adds to the experience..
staff is busy yet warm and friendly.
credit cards not accepted and the prices are reasonable..
Bottom line: whether you get a plate to go or eat there don't miss it!

If you love old fashioned good food than you need to visit Roger and Holly plus their daughter Marissa. This is country food at its best! It's kind of like a hole in the wall but it's clean and the food can't be beat. The country cafe has been featured in several interviews and articles. Make sure you bring cash as they don't except cards but that's not so hard and the prices cannot be bested. The buffet is one $6-7. And of course there is a menu. Roger makes the best burgers and his servings are big. So 5 stars for country food that can't be beat! 😃🍔🥧🌽✔

I have never liked Catfish! My opinion was changed after eating here! Leaping Lizards!! I FREAKING LOVE THEIR FOOD. IT'S SO GOOD. I'M A HUGE FAN! My daughter loves their macaroni and cheese 🧀 . The staff is so friendly. #Sometimesyouwanttogowhereeverybodyknowsyourname

This is a hidden little country buffet for most people outside the area. It is extremely good. Some of the best southern comfort food I've ever eaten. The staff is friendly. Regulars comprise most of their customers, and the staff know them by name and ask about family and neighbors, it's a great atmosphere you don't see often. It's also cheap, ridiculously cheap for the amount of food they practically push on your plate. Fantastic.

This is a place where the staff wants to make you feel a home. It’s not a formal dining experience, but more of a coming home party that my mom and dad would throw. Lots of fun and staff were amazing! I love the feel of this restaurant. Will definitely be back!

Driving though and found this place. I have to say they was the most friendly people Most of the people that came in seem to know all the employees and the employees new them. Even the customers talked to us. It took you back in time, where we would take the time to say hello or good morning. Honestly made my day, and the food was really great.

The breakfast is great, they serve the BEST pancakes and serving size impressive. I haven't tried their lunch buffet yet, but it must be good...folks come in for coffee and chatting until it's time.

The absolute best double cheeseburger for the $4.99 you will ever find. We are new to the area and absolutely love this place. Thank you for all your hard work and fair prices. We will be back.

I loved it. The bbq chicken was on point and fell off the bone. The corn, potatoes, green beans and stuffing were so good I got seconds. I enjoyed the pickled Okra and so on.
In short, the folks inside are friendly and real and I felt like I was eating at home. If you want some good country cooking around some good ol' folks, this is a place to kickback, relax and eat some good grub.

I will be back. This is now one of my favorite restaurants!

This is a walk back in time, it's fantastic! The food is phenomenal and inexpensive. I had a bacon double cheeseburger and fries for $3.50. The buffet is where it's at though, definitely eat here.
