My experience with the Walton St. Hertz was quite good. I reserved a car for a good price and when I showed up the young lady at the counter was very friendly and helpful. The vehicle was clean and drove very nice. I returned the car and the same young lady was again very friendly and I was emailed a receipt a the agreed upon amount moments after I left.

I returned a car here that I had picked up at O'Hare, and while trying to coordinate a ride to the Rockford airport from Hertz, the woman at the counter let me know that they could shuttle us to RFD for free. A nice gentleman named Don gave us a quick ride over, and it definitely beat waiting an hour for a taxi or watching rideshare drivers cancel a ride that took them out of their preferred zone. 🙂

I rented a car. Upon pick up. I was offered an upgrade for a minimal fee. Thanks to the customer service person that took care of me the upgrade was well worth it. Upon return, the after hours return was very easy. But the next day I realized, I left my galaxy ear buds in the car. I called the store to see if the vehicle was still there. The person that took my call said yes, the car is still here. I explained to her what I left in the car. She went out, searched the car and found my Galaxy earbuds and held them until I picked them up. Thank you Herttz Of Rockford Illinois for being trustworthy and honest as well as great customer service.👏 👍 😀

While Enterprise cancelled my reservation last minute without notice, I was able to quickly book with Hertz. The car was clean and brand new, it only had 4k miles on it. Checking out was quick, and checking in was even quicker.

Great servivce! So quick and easy, literally took no more than 10 min to get my vehicle. All these negative reviews about not being clean i mean cmon be real. Would you rather wait hours for them to clean a vehicle so u can leave or get your car and go? I choose to get it and go. I can always clean it if needed

Way more reasonable than any enterprise I've ever dealt with. Sure there's a deposit but at least the cost of the rental is part of the deposit not in addition to the deposit like their competitors. Not to mention if you book last minute you may not get the car you actually booked but they'll usually get you into something that runs at least which is all that matters at the end of the day.

Also if you're on the fence for renting a Tesla just DOOO IT. You won't regret it.

Scott picked me up at the collision shop and drove me to Hertz rental place. Very friendly and professional! If I ever need a rental, I'll go to them.

My last 5-6 transactions with this Hertz have been good. From dealing with the staff, to the cleanliness of the car, and just them having a car for me in general, they’ve all been good experiences.

The best stand-alone rental location in Rockford! I was needing a car 15 mintues to their closing, and they hooked me up! Also, I forgot to park my car at the bus stop, and they kept the towing company away! Excellent!👏👏👏👍

I have used Hertz Car Rental at this location every year for the last several years. I usually call in my reservation and ask for Chris, the manager. Other workers have set up my reservation and they always takes excellent care of me. They even picked me up from a nearby location when I needed help! I highly recommend them.

RFD-Airport Hertz closed down and this is only hertz in the area.

Outstanding service provided by Hertz manager and staff at the Walton Street location in Rockford, Il. They accommodate my schedule, all cars rented are in excellent condition, and this location in convenient to the shuttle terminal for O'Hara airport . Highly recommend and a BIG thanks to the Hertz team!
