Handel's Homemade Ice Cream

Best ice cream ever! Our servers Jackson, Chloe and Gia were amazing and provided great customer service! We got, what I can only call “heaven in a bowl!” It was a waffle bowl with chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream topped with hot fudge and Reese’s peanut butter cups!

Had dinner at Portofino’s and then walked over to Hansel’s for some sweet treats. I had chocolate chip cookie dough in a cone and my boyfriend had a plain vanilla milkshake. Very good. My cookie dough had big, actual chunks of cookie dough in it. I plan on coming back and trying more of their flavors !

I went to Handels for the first time on Labor Day. I had the sweetest girl taking my order her name was Grace. She gave me plenty of yummy recommendations. I got a 4 scoop sampler which was such a good choice because I got to try 4 flavors. Great customer service!

Everytime I come here Scarlett and Lucia are always on it and get my ice cream so fast. I love Handel's so much my favorite Black Raspberry Chunk and the Pumpkin Pie are my favorite flavors.

This was our first visit and I will definitely bring my kids again! The Blue Monster and Deep Dish Apple Pie are both delicious! If you've never been to Handel's grab yourself a sampler you will not be disappointed.

Oh my goodness!! Handel's is dangerously close to our house. We've been twice this week because the ice cream is so delicious! And I love ice cream. I'm going to have to put limits on myself. Everyone there is helpful and friendly. It is all outdoor seating.

Yummiest flavors. Sweet and helpful staff! Mady helped us on our last visit and made me the best brownie sundae! 🤤 we’ll definitely be back soon.

This place is very good, the workers Lucia and Scarlett helped me very good to choose the flavors i wanted. 100% recommended if you want very good ice cream for not much money!

LOVE seeing our favorite ice cream place at a new location! We’ve never had an ice cream here we didn’t like. The pineapple upside down cake ice cream…stop. You won’t find anything like it! We love how their flavors are always changing around too!

Premium ice cream in so many flavors! Scoops are good size. Sampler was nice size portions to try 4 flavors.

I’m going to warn anyone who reads this review of two things with this Handel’s location (the only one I’ve been to, but still). 1: it can get VERY busy, and 2: there is SO much to try that it’s overwhelming.

They have a ton of flavors such as grape, blueberry cobbler, key lime pie, and pineapple upside down cake, and I tried all four of those flavors so I can say that they’re all amazing. I don’t have a job but if I did, I’d likely spend a good portion of the money I’d get from it on either games or ice cream from here specifically, because those flavors rotate out sometimes and I also have a lot of other flavors I want to try.

I have the opportunity of eating at the Gastonia location, but the service, facility and ice-cream is so amazing I had to write a review for this location also, if you haven't tried this spot out. Put it on your list!

Ice cream is homemade and very delicious. They offer about 20 or so flavors. They also have multiple types of cones or you can just get the ice cream in a cup. Highly recommend

my experience at handel’s is always so amazing. Everyone who works is always so nice and sweet especially ashtyn. she always gets my order right and it’s always so good.
