Green Papaya Thai & Sushi (210 Location)

A neighborhood destination that has been somewhat secretive for 2 years. Nice bar, super nice staff. Food was excellent and spice levels were on target for their 0-5 scale. Nice bar, with great specialized drink options. Had a great experience. Definitely family friendly.

We don't live around here and the place came highly recommended to us by someone we had met earlier that day so we decided to stop by for lunch. We're world travelers and honestly didn't have very high expectations. All our travels have spoiled us a bit when it comes to food. It's very difficult for us to tell a server a spice level because on a scale of 0-5 for the average American I like an 11 but for a scale of 0-5 for a typical Asian person I like a 2-3 so when I go into an Asian restaurant what am I supposed to ask for? I usually explain I lived in China for 3 years, & West Africa for 3 years I can handle real spice, and I'd like the real scale please. It often works. It worked here. The real scale is 0-10. But don't do something stupid like try to show off and order an 8 because it gets really hot really fast and you're going to have to pay for that food even when you can't eat it. Don't be stupid. They have an adorably cute robot that brings your order to the table. Those are really common all across Europe & Asia, but in those places tipping isn't common. I guess they're not so common here because people wouldn't tip a robot. When is this country going to end that awful system and start paying servers what they're worth? I want one of those cute robots to serve me in my home. I recommend eating here. The amazing curry was great. I love peanut anything.

I was so impressed with Green Papaya! I ordered a curry which was beautifullly presented and delicious. I am going back to try everything on the menu. The staff was efficient and courteous. The restaurant and bathrooms are modern and clean.

I recently dined at Green Papaya and had a delightful experience. The food was delicious, offering a variety of flavors that truly satisfied my palate. The standout was the overall taste and quality of the dishes. Moreover, the addition of a serving robot added an exciting novelty to the ambiance, making the visit even more memorable. Perfect date place or business lunch. Decor is amazing and sushi delicious! Excellent bar area and booth dining is cozy. Sushi is reasonably priced ($7-$18), average roll $8-9 and specialty rolls $14-18.
For 2 people (about 5-6 rolls) plan to spent $100. So worth it!!

This place is absolutely amazing. I cannot recommend it enough.
The staff is truly amazing, the food was spectacular, and the atmosphere was perfect.
Today is our 18th anniversary, and we were not sure where to go. We tried Green Papaya on a whim, and it was more than we hoped for.
I really cannot say enough good things about it.
My wife had the Duck with Red Curry, and I had the Chilean Sea Bass. We also had Thai Egg rolls, Eel Sashimi and Salmon Roe (Ikura) Sashimi, as well as desert.
It was just all amazing. One of the coolest things was the robot bringing the food to the table (our waitress handed it to us), but it really just added to the experience.

It has a very nice lounge feeling to it. The sushi is always very fresh and consistently fantastic. They have a full bar if that's your speed, and some very nice house sake. All of the appetizers will leave you awaiting the main course with (well deseved) high hopes and whether you opt for any of their noodle or rice dishes, curries, or specials, they do not dissapoint. Highly recommended for large groups or even a nice date night!

Had a wonderful lunch at Green Papaya today. The sashimi special was so crazy good.. fresh large pieces of high quality fish, yummy ginger dressing and shrimp sauce accompanying the lunch deal. They were very accommodating (I did not prefer escolar so they served me albacore tuna.. which was surprisingly tasty with a great mouth feel) and service was spot on. We were so surprised when a couple of these robots were puttering around carrying food! The waitress said they were huge help when they got really busy.. so much faster to get good to the tables! I thought they were adorable!

Outstanding Thai food, affordably priced modern & clean/organized atmosphere!

Green Papaya is the best Thai Food option in northeast Florida.
We had the appetizer sampler, Basil Thai fried rice with beef, and noodles with scallops.
Each dish was bursting with flavor and incredibly tasty. The interior was very modern and aesthetically pleasing. Each staff member was very courteous and professional.

Very convenient location on CR210 and I-95.
I highly recommend this venue for a date night or if you are craving fantastic Asian fare.

First time ordering Green Papaya and I was very pleased with my food.
Food was flavorful, quick pickup time, one of the best take out orders I’ve had in a while. I’ll definitely be back! It’s hard to find good Roti but Green Papaya is giving Hawkers a run for best Roti! Also love the many sauces you can get. A tad pricey for take out for sure, but you get what you pay for and I don’t regret the cost in the end.

We always have an amazing time there, the food is always good.
This time we decided to sit at the bar, the bartender Judith was amazing!! Very attentive, friendly, and made us the best drinks. Judith was definitely the highly of the day. Her service was 10/10

As soon as I entered the restaurant it was beyond expectations. No expense was spared between the atmosphere and culinary talent. The food looks amazing and is beautiful and tasted even more incredible than it looks. Very modern and classy restaurant. I have to post pictures of how beautiful the interior is because the outside due to restrictions from the plaza are not very telling. The owner is very passionate and friendly with the customers, the restaurant, and her associates. She has definitely hired talent and has to be a major part of why the food at both her restaurants is so delicious. She is always pushing quality in her restaurants in the key aspects. I will support anything she is behind, please go find out why she and her associates deserve success!

The same great quality food as in St. Augustine and Beach Boulevard. A robot brought our appetizer! So cool. That's a first for me. Very spacious and less crowded than the other branches. Tania is very prompt and always smiling.

Fun place. Interesting ambience. They have cat robots that bring the food to your table (see the video). Food was solid. I got the pad Thai and I’d highly recommend being conservative with how spicy you want it. They don’t play around with that. Sushi was decent. I’d come again for sure.

Okay so this place is a lot better than the one across town. Let me first say that both Green Papayas in the Jacksonville area have the best Lamb, the best fried rice and some really good curry. I like how this one is a little more open and doesn’t feel very congested. For a long time I was looking for a spot in Jacksonville that had some good Lamb. Yeah I know I mentioned the Lamb already but truly it’s the most successful thing at the green papaya. Definitely worth a trip.

This is a hidden gem in St Johns Fountains just off of 210. The ambience is great the staff is excellent, and the food never disappoints. If you are craving Thai, or sushi this is the place to go. It is getting a little be crowded now that the surrounding neighborhoods have found it. It is on our list for date night places to eat. I highly recommend you give it a try.

Pleasantly surprised 😀. Lunch specials are extremely worth it! Definitely spending more time here in the future. Food quality is amazing. Had the best Spicy Tuna roll I've had in years! Even the ginger salad dressing tasted like it was home made, it was creamy and out of this world!

My my kids loved the robot that delivers the food, the sushi was DELICIOUS, and the curry was great too. The drunken noodles had a funny aftertaste, but other than that evening was so good.

This was our first visit to Green Papaya. We stopped in for drinks and a couple appetizers. My husband and I sat at the bar. Both bartenders were amazing and attentive. Service was definitely amazing along with the food. We had the sampler and 1 salmon sushi.The vibe is so cool in there too. It felt like we were at a all inclusive vacation. We will definitely be back.

As you first walk in it smells funny but as you sit down it smells fine. Costumer service was excellent shoutout to the waiter Asia. My meal was quite exquisite as I got the chicken drunken noodles and the chocolate raspberry design on the side was tasty! The robots that served the food were extraordinary.The bathrooms were very clean and smelled pleasant. A bonus was the mints that came with the check!
