Denalis On The River

Beautiful day to eat in the patio with a view. The food was excellent. Mango habanero was very good. We were able to bring our dog with us.

Food was amazing! Only complaint is that my fish was still cold in the center but will definitely come back and try something else

Excellent experience. We ate in a separate room that I believe was called the dog house. This room was very new looking, clean and easily handled our party of 65. The service from Danielle was excellent. We had the pulled pork and brisket which each had a nice smokey flavor.

Lunch was very good. We were there the Sunday before for live music. We sat probably 20 minutes before getting waited on Everyone around us was getting waited on but us. I was feeling very patient that day. Our waitress showed up..she said no one told her we were seated in her section. She bent over backwards to accommodate us. All in all it was ok but, the service minus our waitress needs Training. I do love the live music.

First time eating here today. Ordered a couple of small pizzas for lunch for my wife and myself. She had the taco pizza and I had the all meat pizza.
We both thought that it was the best pizza we've had in a long time.
We'll definitely be back again!

Great atmosphere and service. Music was enjoyable and Aaron was a top notch server. Entire "young staff" was respectful and well trained.

We were served wonderful food, quickly I might add as we dinned outside. Friendly waitress! Awesome!!

Ordered takeout tonight. Pizza, tenderloin sandwich and nachos.. pizza was fantastic!! The tenderloin is huge and great flavor along with buffalo fries. Nachos were so good!! 100% recommend.. Also had a Bloody Mary while waiting for the food and that was perfection!

Sit outside on the patio. Great atmosphere. Had quick service and the food was good.

All of the food was really good. I had the pulled pork sandwich which was really better to eat with a fork, good BBQ sauce, and really good crispy fries. The pork tenderloin was really good and has this fantastic breading. We will be back!

Update: Of course by now we have been back 3 or 4 times. Just ate here again for Father's Day with the in-laws. Always a good time. As always the food was great. Try the turtle eggs! They're not really turtle eggs😃.

We hadn’t ate at Denalis since July due to not being impressed with the food. We decided to give it another try tonight 11/2/23 at 5pm. We ordered take out. Whoever was the cook tonight, completely changed my mind about the food. That was the best burger I’ve had in a LONG time. The French dip was great also. Very glad we gave it a second shot.

Service and food was excellent. Had Turtle Eggs appetizer and original smash burger.

I am always impressed with whatever I order here. Whether it is a smash burger or the prime rib dinner, it is always a knockout. There are huge tvs to watch sports. Sometimes it gets a little loud if you are looking for a quiet atmosphere. It does get a bit busy on game days but if you like that it is a good time.

Our server was very cordial, attentive, and not overbearing. The appetizer, pulled pork potato skins were amazing. We got our food rather quickly considering the place was filling up fast. The First Crush cider tasted like a jolly rancher, but still good. Overall, we were pleased with the atmosphere, food, and great service. Hats off to our server, Brenden.

Beautiful setting with good food and service. The view overlooking the river is a huge bonus!

Had never been, and met some friends there, who also had never been. It was midweek, so golf league was playing, so pretty busy parking lot. We were greeted/seated right away while we waited for the rest of our party. I asked if a martini was an option (moving from a larger city a martini hasn’t been an option I’ve found around this area) and the server wasn’t sure, but asked for me…of course, the bartender wasn’t hesitant at all. Note* it was delicious*

Once our friends arrived they ordered their drinks, and were accommodated as well. The server checked back several times to see if we were ready to order dinner, and never left us looking for her for our drinks. The bartender was so amazing he made us a verrrry refreshing cocktail, and even came to our table to tell us his secret concoction in the pitcher we shared. Again, delicious!

We ordered our meals, with more than a few requests…lol. At this time we reassured the server we were done being “high maintenance”, but she was so friendly, thankfully she wasn’t bothered. When our food came out (in a very reasonable timeframe) everything everyone had ordered was PERFECTION!! Steaks cooked exactly how ordered, and my friend’s pizza was fresh/delicious, too.

We were so pleased with our experience…all of us were, because it didn’t seem “hit or miss” at all to us. We were brought the bill, and pleasantly surprised by that, too. Extremely reasonably priced! Our table was cleared right away while we sat and visited a little bit longer, and we were on our way.

We were very politely thanked, and enjoyed all the staff there. They were pretty busy that night, and on their toes.

It’s a very nicely done place, and we can’t wait to go back to experience the patio.

The ONLY downside that we found was the parking situation there. Limited parking, and not having closer access to the building.

It was a gorgeous day so we sat outdoors and enjoyed the river view. Our waitress was the sweetest and most incredibly helpful. The food was very good. It was the perfect follow up to our visit to Cedar Rock.

Had the smash burger with pulled pork. Perfectly cooked and portion was generous but not absurd like so many places. Service was excellent despite it being very busy on a Saturday night.

Surprisingly great food and excellent service. Was not expecting such a great atmosphere with the river and nature. Would totally recommend. Also portion sizes are huge!

The old okaboji grill has never looked better. Super great staff, cold drinks and the remodel is really nice. Drive the few extra minutes to enjoy this place right on the river. Bonus.... It's on a 9 hole fun run golf course.
