Historic City Hall

Nevadaville has been one of my favorite Colorado ghost towns since I lived there ( Denver) in the 1960's. People who are unfamiliar with the town should buy a book to see what it used to look like it in the 1800's.

A blast from the past for sure. I very much enjoyed this small historical spot and if you go further up the road about 6 mins you will find a small cemetery dated back to 1865. Many pioneers buried here along with the most unmarked Graves. Just be respectful and pay your respects 🙏

Nevadaville is not really a ghost town. There were three old abandoned but well maintained buildings that were the "ghost town" and then a bunch of old occupied homes. It was difficult to tell what was open to the public and what was privately owned. On the far side of the canyon were a bunch of fallen down buildings that looked like the result of an old fire, which were pretty cool to see. The old buildings were also neat but it was bizarre because it was unclear if the residents were okay with people looking at the old part of the town.
