Grab-a-Java

A local coffee shop that's been a fixture in Springfield for over 20 years, this particular location is the newly built third shop. Their coffee and lattes are delicious, both hot and cold. They also make smoothies and sparkling energy drinks. What makes Grab a Java a step above the rest is the baristas, everyone of them are great at what they do, and they do it in a friendly and personable way. The bake goods are just as yummy as their flavored coffees. I get a custom mocha everytime, but my girlfriend gets a variety of things and she has liked them all. Highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a great coffee shop in Springfield.

Love the new Grab a Java location! Walk up window and FREE pup cups! I got a sf vanilla iced latte. If you are on this side of town please go here instead of starbys. Buy local!

Looking forward to this location opening soon. Grab-A-Java has the best coffee and soon I won't have to drive out of my way to get some. Close enough to my work that I can swing through on my way in. The parking lot looks big enough to accommodate a morning rush. Looking good so far!

Staff are always very friendly and fast. Beverages are by far the top in town. Food is always fresh. Drinks/food are always consistent in flavor/quality. Easy to get to and one of my favorite coffee shops! Highly recommend!

dunkin was closed, so I went here instead, and I'm so glad I did. so good. 😋

I love our local shop! Friendly employees and not usually much of a wait unless they're inundated. They have HUGE muffins which are delicious and I've probably tried them all. My all time favorite drink from here is a hot vanilla chai. They also have weekly drink specials that can get pretty unique. Give them a try!

AWESOME STAFF!! My wife and I are "regulars" at the 3115 Hedley Rd, Springfield, IL location, and those morning girls have it going on! All they gotta do is see us in line and they will have our coffees READY BEFORE we get to the window because those girls remember their customers, and what they like. I call that AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE!! That is something you don't see anymore sadly, but if you go to the BEST DAMN LITTLE COFFEE SHOP IN SPRINGFIELD YOU WILL!!👏🏻👏🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻

I have tried chai in several different states, and I have to say Grab-a-Java chai is very superior chai! I love this place and will continue to support it for a very very long time!!!

This place had great coffee. We came 2 days in a row for the cappuccino. None of those fake artificial pumps of gross in this coffee. I'd visit again when in Springfield.

Not a coffee drinker, but my daughter loves smoothies! First time here and we will be back! Very friendly service! Peach smoothie, orange cranberry muffin and 2 puppacinos. We all will be back!

went through the drive through and it was the yummiest iced chai w oatmilk and cinnamon i ever had !! i was picking up a few drinks and the service was friendly and fast!

It's always amazing, but can takes some time. Plan your mornings with a few extra minutes and you will be fine. Worth the wait!
