Itton Ramen & Japanese Street Food

This place was one of the best ramen places in the twin cities area, my only sadness from my experience is it’s far from Minneapolis.

The spicy beef ramen was perfection, the beef was tender, noodles nice texture and broth perfect heat levels.

Got chicken fried rice and is so good with the mango mayo sauce.

Vibes are casual and Japanese street style which was cool. Prices were affordable and matched quality.

After spending time in Japan I find it difficult to go to some restaurants that claim to serve Japanese food but it's closer to other countries like China. I was skeptical of Itton but I softened up first with the interior and them with the food. The tsukumen and the gyoza was on par with what I had in Kyoto.

We have been wanting to try this place for a while and now we know we’ll be back. I’d been craving ramen and this did not disappoint. My miso ramen was just the right amount of spicy and my daughter’s rice bowl was delicious. Also, one random thing… we dined in and got to experience some kind of disco dance party in the bathroom. You’ll just have to see what I mean!

Discovered this place by accident and it is pretty authentic. From the fresh ramen to drink offerings. I would dare to say it is one of the best ramen houses in the Metro, my opinion. I seen there is another location which I have not tried. It is quite cute and atmosphere is fun. If you like ramen and Japanese “Zensai” (appetizers) this is a recommendation to try. It is not fancy but it is it cute and fun. They paid attention to the details in the atmosphere and they also pay attention to the details in their food. They also have vegetarian selections.

Tonkotsu Raman was very good! Broth was piping hot until the last drop and creamy. Great job on Chashu! Fried rice and Karaage were also good😊 Owner was very generous and friendly. Will definitely go back again - we need this in Duluth!

We went here about a week ago and everything was delicious! Came out quickly and it was very authentic. We had the chicken fried rice and classic tonkotsu pork belly ramen. Will definitely be going back!

Local Japanese street food cafe just off of County Road 42 across the street from Walgreens. The cafe has an authentic Tokyo street vibe and has delicious ramen and a variety of different drinks. The takoyaki was really good and delicate. I recommend the Spicy Miso Ramen.

I had read about Itton Ramen in Burnsville, as the restaurant is a new entrant into the growing Asian food scene south of the River. This new restaurant is in the old pizza place near Blue Max Liquor Store, just off CR 42.

So, on Saturday night I was really craving "yaki-udon", a wonderful "comfort food" of Japan. Yaki = fried, Udon = large wheat noodles; typically cooked udon noodles are then stir-fried in different regional sauces with vegetables, other proteins thrown in at your option. Yaki soba/Yaki udon are great comfort foods in Japan!

I had the "yasai yaki-udon", and it was served quickly to my table. I also ordered an order of pork gyoza. The gyoza was crispy, and wonderfully prepared. The yaki-udon was similarly delicious, though next time I will ask the staff to fry the udon a bit more (I like them just shy of crunchy!).

While I waited, I admired the outstanding decorations which literally plaster nearly every square inch of the interior of the "izakaya". I also studied the extensive menu! Take a look at my photos; I took photos of the current menu. Wow! Many many options.

Location is good, at the end of a strip mall, lots of free parking. The restaurant is smallish, seating only around 20 people tops? Food was well priced, served piping hot, and delicious! Made me dream about Onomichi-shi or Hiroshima! Very authentic Japanese izakaya comfort foods here.

OH, and they have big bottles (25 oz) of kirin or Sapporo biru for $8! To wash all the delicious tabemono down to my onaka, mind you.... I'll be back to Itton Ramen! Take a look at my photos.

This is easily the best food in this strip mall, and may be some of the best Japanese food I have had. And I have been to Japan. I had the tonkatsu Ramen, and my wife had the fried rice

My boyfriend and I checked it out as someone told us about it! I liked my food, would probably just adjust my order a bit so it would be less salty, but that’s just my preference. My boyfriend loved his food! The atmosphere was great!! We will go back!

Shu Mai was so so so good and I was sad when i finished them 😔they were so soft and flavorful😤✨ got the vegetarian ramen and it was really good just think it was missing a bit of flavor variation

We were visiting out of town. Honestly saw some n TikTok and wanted to try yo support. The food here is amazing. Absolutely will stop by again. From the time we ordered to service was minutes and we couldn’t even eat it all. So much food and super delicious. Thank you so much.

What a hidden gem! The food is REALLY good, the service was very friendly, and the interior is cheerful, colorful, and clean! We'll definitely be back! (Oh, and get a dumpling!!)

I'm here because of the owner's incredible generosity and big heart! This establishment deserves all the praise and patronage it is getting. Seeing so many people leave their appreciation here from that wonderful act of kindness shown in the infamous yt vid makes me believe in humanity again. More power to you and your restaurant!

Would love to go there, a bit far from where I live unfortunately. I only saw a video of the owner accepting to cook 50 dishes for free to give them to a homeless shelter, and this heartwarming action deserves to be seen and the shop should be shouted out for it. Go eat there if you have the opportunity !!

Neat place to sit and dine. Came with my daughter to have ramen. I ordered a single bowl of ramen and the staff brought a second bowl so we could split with out asking, which was very thoughtful. After eating she insisted to thank the staff for the food. She really enjoyed eating their food. Soup came out piping hot, pork was perfectly tender, noodles were well done so they still had a bit to them. I will be back when I’m in the area and bring friends.
