Carrots n' Dates

We recently had our first visit to Carrots and Dates, and it was fantastic! The food was not only delicious but also healthy. We tried the gluten-free Thai peanut curry, a Buddha bowl, quesadillas, and pad Thai. Every dish was packed with flavor and super fresh, really highlighting their dedication to healthy eating. The staff were super friendly and made us feel welcome right from the start. We chose to sit out on the patio, which was wonderfully relaxing. The decor, with its flowers and positive message signs, gave off some serious hipster vibes that we loved.Inside, they have a great selection of gluten-free baked goods and premade healthy meals to take out. Plus, there was art for sale by local artists, which adds a nice community feel to the place. Overall, Carrots and Dates is a real gem in Cornwall. If you're looking for delicious, healthy food in a laid-back and welcoming setting, this is the spot. We can't wait to go back and try more from their menu!

I think this is a Cornwall veggie gem. The ambiance is cosy, low lighting and comfortable. They have local artist paintings on display and crystals for sale for those into esoteric.

I ordered the Pad Thai with an added Smokey Tofu bowl and Rise kiwi pineapple kombucha. The meal was filling and delicious! The noddles had a lovely texture.

To finish, I had a slice of cashew based blueberry cheesecake slice. It was refreshing and not too sweet. The crust was a sunflower-walnut base. This slice of cheesecake didn’t taste heavy.

Definitely will come back for a second visit to try the Buddha bowl, when I’m in town.

Beautiful spot down town Cornwall near the park. Patio and front covered enclosure are dog friendly too! The Pad Thai bowl was excellent. Staff were so kind and provided excellent service.

Fantastique! Great vegan place. The best carrot 🥕 cake we have ever tried. Great smoothies that can easily replace a whole meal.

We came here for 2pm vegan/vegetarian lunch after we saw good reviews.

Parking on the street is not free; we were at Cornwall Square before hand and just left our car parked there for free as it's a very short walk from there.

The inside of the restaurant is beautifully decorated and clean; the bathroom needs better attention though. At first glance the bathroom is nicely decorated and clean however there are layers of dust on the pictures inside.

The patio is pet friendly and is used in the winter as we were told.

The house tomatoe soup was delicious; well seasoned and had some sweetness to it.

The roasted beet salad with goat cheese was excellent and something we would definitely order again.

The Falafel wrap was good but needed more seasoning as it was very plain. The falafel themselves are also made in house, were moist but again needed more seasoning as they were almost tasteless. I probably won't order this again unless the recipe changes to include more seasoning or even a flavourful sauce such as garlic tahini sauce to provide more flavour.

The Crispy Buffalo Cauliflower wrap was excellent! It was well seasoned and had a good heat on the sauce.

Our server was very attentive and friendly; we were the only people inside at the time.
They have a cooler area at the front where they have amazing looking baked goods. Everything is made on site, not made by someone else and brought in so that is a huge selling point. They also had various local items for sale near the front counter.

I would definitely recommend this restaurant and return to try something new.

It's a bit pricey but 100% worth it! For appetizers, we had the guacamole chips and the fried goat cheese balls. The guacamole was amazing! The fried goat cheese balls were ABSURDLY good. If you eat here you must get them. For the main dish, we had the falafel wrap and the spicy peanut curry noodles. Both were great, but the wrap was definitely better. We also had London fogs with oat milk, which were phenomenal. Overall the food was insanely good, and all vegetarian.

Chose this place randomly on our way through town, and we were really happy with everything: food was delicious, for one. Very fresh, healthy and you can tell that care and pride are taken. Extremely prompt service. Ww ordered online and food was ready at the arranged time. Interior seemed really pleasant, and I noticed a dog water bowl on the patio, so we could have dined in with our dogs. Finally, the sides were very generously portioned and other than plastic silverware, items were packaged in cardboard, even the stew, and all in a paper bag instead of plastic.
If we're on the area again will absolutely be back. Also, seemed easy to find street parking right in front.

What a pleasant surprise finding out about this place. The food is absolutely delicious, love the vegan options! To all Vegans who live in the West Island, Vaudreuil, Hudson and Pincourt it’s worth the drive especially without orange cones and road closures when you drive downtown Montreal with an added bonus the gas is cheaper when you take the drive to Cornwall. Looking forward to our next visit.

My daughter and I found this little gem on Pitt street. My gosh we were impressed. It’s really such a sweet spot. The decor was lovely. Service was super friendly and helpful. We have no dietary restrictions at all, but the food was delicious.

Love the menu! I wanted to order one of everything! I settled on the falafel wrap and salad and my partner ate the Pad Thai. They were both very yummy and good portions. We were definitely satisfied! I wish this restaurant was in the town I live in! I’d eat there all the time!

I picked here as a healthy dinner option instead of a chain burger and fries and it changed my mind on vegan food being "meh". With speedy service & friendly staff I went back for lunch too 🤣
All their baking is Gluten Free, and everything on the menu was able to accommodate my whack of allergies.

Last night my mom and I decided to try this new restaurant and we were so impressed! The menu was so full of options that sounded delicious that we needed extra time to choose what to eat. The food was fantastic and the staff was very friendly. And a bonus is that it’s all vegetarian! It’s one of my new favourite restaurants in Cornwall. I’ll definitely be back!

While looking for a place to have lunch, we just happened to walk in front of Carrots n’ Dates and decided to go in and try it. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Service was top notch! The food was delicious! Great sized portions and very healthy! Felt like a home cooked meal! We liked it so much we went back the same day for dinner and it was awesome! We’ll be back for sure! A must when in Cornwall! Fresh, healthy, and delicious. Whether you grab and go or dine-in, you’ll love it!

I had smoked tomato soup with the cauliflower wrap, it was awesome! The soup itself is worth 15/10. It was seriously delicious. The team gave good service. Overall an amazing experience.

Such a lovely restaurant both staff and atmosphere! I had the pad thai for lunch which was recommended by a friend and it was delicious!! They also have a great variety of desserts and I made sure to take one to go :)

I stopped here after going to Cornwall to see the solar eclipse, and I'm so glad I did!

A lot of the options are gluten free, and after speaking with the server I felt very safe eating here as someone with celiac disease.

The food itself was incredible after a long day, but the dessert that I got(a butter finger copycat) was AMAZING!

I feel like we couldn't have gone to a better place for a healthy/super tasty lunch! The atmosphere is absolutely lovely! The staff were also super friendly and very kind/helpful! Lastly, the food was absolutely delicious! It was clear that they make all of their food with such loving kindness ❤

I had my first visit here today, and it was excellent! Looking forward to going back the next time I’m in town! I had the Buffalo Cauliflower Wrap with longevity salad. The dressing was amazing! Kombucha to drink.
