Don Perico Mexican Restaurant

This place is very deserving of 5+ stars! I don’t even know where to start- from the moment I entered doors I was seated promptly! My server was to the table within 2 minutes or less. I ordered shrimp ceviche, house margaritas, and fajitas (shrimp,steak, chicken) everything was absolutely delicious! True authentic Mexican food! Their homemade salsa with chips were also amazing. I hope to be back in the future! Keep up the great work— love the gal from Louisiana!

Very nice Mexican restaurant in the heart of Tehachapi, as you walk in all the vibrant colors make you feel as if you were in a Restaurant in Mexico. I was greeted very well by the hostess and was given the choice to sit anywhere I wanted given there wasn't many people. They have a full bar which is nicely stocked, my waitress Edna was super nice and informed me well of the food I asked suggestions on. Now, lets get to the important stuff. I ordered the Supreme Fajitas which have Shrimp, Chicken and Steak. Not your usual huge platters form other Mexican restaurants but enough to fill you with amazing flavor. The steak was juicy and tender as well as the chicken, the shrimps were plump and cooked just right. Rice and beans were tasty... the only thing I think they can improve is the quality of their flour tortillas to compliment the delicious platter. Highly recommend this restaurant if your in the area.

Awesome food 👏👏 Have tried both the fish and shrimp ceviche, cheese enchiladas and some margaritas. Definitely hit the spot! Free chips and salsa is always a good day!! Super chill environment, and very friendly staff! They do Karaoke on Wednesdays and it was packed! Def a chill little party 🎉 little Gem in Tehachapi

Cold beer, taco Tuesdays are awesome, $1.69 tacos 🌮 NICE and Thursday’s too! I believe it’s from 3-till close so get their early cause it does get packed. Nice atmosphere and very attentive staff.

Christian provided exceptional customer service to me! Dry professional Answered all my questions, and explained the buffet service to me. Thank you Christian! I hope I spelled u and right. Excellent employee!

Stopped here on accidentwhen traveling was hungry they were open and had indoor dining.. Service was good I had the fish tacos and omg so much food ice tea was delicious place was clean if I ever drive through again I will make it a point to stop!

If you're up for Mexican, this is a great place to eat! The servings are hefty, food is delicious, our waitress was pleasant and well worth the price.

Authentic mouthwatering Mexican dishes and drinks backed by friendly efficient service, we simply loved the whole experience!

Buffet hands down all you should get! Not served on Mondays because they are usually slow. Never have had a problem with the staff or anything!

It was Karaoke night so it was very loud but other than that I would highly recommend bringing a party here

I took a friend there for lunch. I had the shrimp cocktail, fantastic she had fish tacos that were great. The bartenders were extremely nice. We ended up staying a couple hours. Really enjoyed it.

Had a fabulous birthday party with about 30 people in attendance. They had one server on, and she knocked it outta the park on service. Food was great and drinks flowing.

This is exactly what you expect and imagine in a sit-down Mexican restaurant. The nachos were piled with toppings and melted cheese (not queso sauce). The carne asada was cooked to order. Chips and salsa at the table. Bright, colorful red and yellow decor with a lot of booths and a bar. Nothing outside the box, just comfort food in a familiar atmosphere.
