Gatherings on the Ridge

Very beautiful barn for a reception. Lots of places for pictures on site as well as a beautiful porch, backyard, and garden. The barn is not air conditioned, so it was warm, but they had ceiling fans and giant floor fans. Bathrooms were well kept and staff was kind and efficient with their jobs. Overall cute place for a wedding.

We attended the wedding of our son and his bride at this most beautiful Wisconsin barn venue in early July. The property and grounds are gorgeous, and the barn is incredible. The ceremony was held outside under a big maple tree, and the reception, dinner and dance were inside. The barn is very spacious and offers a kitchen, indoor bathrooms, bridal room, loft for additional seating, bar area, and large area for the reception and dance, all decorated with little white lights. The wood floor is clean and beautiful.
There's a large grassy area for yard games, a nice bonfire pit, a lovely outdoor balcony overlooking the yard and fire pit.
At night the fireflies lit up the entire tree-line to add to the magic of the night.
Jeanne was delightful to work with, and everything was perfect and magical. I would highly recommend!

Gatherings on the Ridge was the perfect venue! So beautiful and peaceful, I knew as soon as I walked in that I had to have my wedding there. I even changed my date to make it work. Jeanne was so wonderful and helpful every step of the way. She made sure everything was absolutely perfect for us! And having a summer wedding, we definitely appreciated the real, air conditioned bathrooms!

We recently had our daughters wedding at this beautiful venue. What an amazing place!! Jeanne and her team were friendly, very helpful and easy to work with. She was readily available at all times. I was pleasantly surprised by her ongoing support and assistance, never being overbearing but offering helpful suggestions and ideas!! We had so many of our guests comment on what an amazing “gem” the venue was. Thanks Jeanne and team for making our day so special!!

When planning our wedding, my husband and I were looking for venues in the La Crosse area, when we couldn't find anything we liked, we expanded our search and stumbled upon Gatherings on the Ridge. From the first moment we met the owner, Jeanne, we instantly knew that this was the venue where we would have our wedding. After a year + of planning, our wedding went off without a single hiccup. Jeanne couldn't have been more helpful on our wedding day or any of the days leading up to it. Not only is she an amazing venue owner/manager she is also a talented florist! She and Simply Lovely Creations also created the flower bouquets, boutonnières, and centerpieces, for my wedding and they were absolutely breathtaking. Jeanne is one talented lady and I am so fortunate to have met her! When you have your wedding here, Jeanne will most definitely become like family! :)

My husband and I got married here a month ago and everything was absolutely perfect! Leading up to our big day Jeanne was so helpful with anything we needed and allowed me to come view the barn on several occasions. Anne worked our rehearsal dinner and wedding and she was so very helpful as well! We received so many compliments about the venue! I would choose this place all over again!

When choosing all of our vendors, having genuine people being by our side on our wedding day was our number one priority. Not only did we have just that with everyone we worked with at the venue but every guest was so amazed at how beautiful the barn and property was. Jeanne was so helpful the entire time we were planning our wedding and Anne was so attentive the day before while setting up and the day of. We had Anne and Monica as our bartenders for our wedding and they rocked it as well! I truly am so happy we chose Gatherings on the Ridge to get married at and would recommend it over and over again!

This was a great experience. The beauty of the barn and outside area is breathtaking. We did minimal decorating but the compliments were continuous about the barn itself. Jeanne and Anne were very easy to work with, helpful with questions and just super great people. Would have another wedding here if we had the opportunity!

Gatherings on the Ridge was the perfect venue for our wedding! There is so much space to work with, you can really make it your own! Aside form the obvious beauty and charm of the venue, another main perk was working with Jeanne! She was so incredibly responsive and helpful throughout all of wedding planning, it really made the whole process smoother and more relaxing knowing she was there! We were so happy with how our wedding day turned out, everything was beautiful! We also received many comments from our guests throughout the day about how beautiful they also thought the venue was! It was an all around great experience and we would recommend Gatherings on the Ridge to anyone!

Gatherings on the Ridge was the perfect place for our wedding in June! We received so many compliments on our venue! It's so beautiful that we only added flowers for decorations. The owner Jeanne is wonderful to work with. She is so helpful and knowledgeable. We loved having our wedding here!

We had our wedding near the end of August at Gatherings on the Ridge, and I couldn’t have imagined a more beautiful venue! We had our ceremony outdoors, beneath the big tree, our pictures by the blue barn, and our reception inside the main barn. Our guests had so many glowing things to say about the venue, from the space for lawn games in the back to the lovely architecture of the barn itself.
Throughout the process, Jeanne was a tremendous source of help and guidance. She was always available and happy to answer questions and to help problem solve, no matter how small or unusual the request. For example, one of our guests was hearing impaired, and Jeanne helped us locate a translator who lived nearby so that she could understand the ceremony and communicate more easily during the reception.
Also, as a side note, the bathrooms are beautiful! Some of our guests were worried that a barn wedding would involve port-o-potties, but that couldn’t be further from the reality. These were nicer than the facilities I’ve seen at some high-end restaurants.
Over all, we could not have asked for a better location or atmosphere – it was both picturesque and utterly homey. I am so glad that we found Gatherings on the Ridge, and I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who is considering having an event there.

Excellent venue for a wedding! Plenty of parking and the owners are very easy to work with. The views at sunset are amazing as well. This venue was an old barn that has been renovated into a venue. They have built in heaters for those cold days to have wedding.

We had our wedding at Gatherings on the Ridge on June 29th. We were not originally planning to have our wedding here, but oh my goodness would I not change a thing! We had an absolutely amazing experience from start to finish.

First, this is a beautiful venue and pictures do not do it justice. Everything part of our wedding was perfect and the pictures are Pinterest worthy. It requires very little decor to transform into a fairytale wedding space. Jeanne has many props to offer for very low prices that make for beautiful backdrops and centerpieces.

Our story at Gatherings begins on June 2nd. My fiancé and I had planned to have our wedding at a venue in Prairie closer to the river. Based on the record flooding this year we were less than a month out from our wedding and our venue was inaccessible. At this point we knew we needed to start looking for alternatives. My fiancé and I live 3 hours from where we held our wedding so it was hard for us to tour places at the last minute. Just as I was feeling down about not having a wedding venue my sister in law called Jeanne to check on availability at Gatherings on the ridge. They happened to be available for our exact date! It was a miracle! We went to tour and I instantly fell in love. I knew it would be a ton of work to move venues and caterers two weeks before our wedding but I felt so much comfort in knowing we had this gorgeous venue available to us. We made the ultimate decision to move based on the state of our previous venue. It was not at all what we expected to see based on our tour and we knew we would not be happy with the gross river smell and mud. We knew Gatherings would be an excellent alternative.

From the moment we toured Jeanne was so accommodating and helpful. I would text her at every hour of the day with questions because we only had two weeks to finalize. She responded quickly and went above and beyond. She wasn’t our fairy godmother for wedding planning! She recommended caterers, shuttle services, etc. She even gave me her sister in law’s contact information whom we used for China and flatware rentals. Jan was awesome as well! I cannot thank her enough. Everything came together perfectly and smoothly. A week before the wedding we realized it as predicted to be the hottest day of the summer and we were hosting our wedding in a barn with no air conditioning. Jeanne tried everything she could do to keep the barn cool and keep us updated. Everything was more than okay and our guests had an amazing time. Even with the heat we had a full dance floor until midnight when’s e kicked people out. Our wedding was everything we could have ever imagined it to be! Our wedding was absolutely gorgeous and we will be forever grateful for Jeanne and the entire Aspenson family for everything they did for us in a very stressful time of our lives!

If you are looking for an amazing venue with the best venue coordinator, this is it!!

Great setting for a get together. We were there for a wedding reception and it was a hot day but there is plenty of air movement that it wasn't so bad. I noticed that there are 2 infrared tube heaters running the length of the barn so they are able to book early spring until late fall

My Niece had a wedding barn seen. It was beautiful. Im sorry I didnt get a picture. It was an older barn, then after the reception we went out back for pictures.. beautiful area in a grass setting.. just a beautiful wedding setting!
