John was excellent! Very professional and easy to work with. Super nice guy! Extremely knowledgeable and helped me understand how best to utilize the logs for maximum output. He also provided tips for stacking to dry and other watch outs as I’m new to this. I would highly recommend him and the TimberKing 2000 did not disappoint. Most places I called couldn’t handle some of the log diameters I had. Or required I bring my logs to them. Definitely will call on John again!

Make sure you have a tractor and couple strong friends to help position logs for loading and remove the boards once cut. He’s a one man crew and the mill moves fast!

Oh! And the kiddos enjoyed playing in the saw dust pile afterwards😆

John was quick to get back to me, quick to get to me, and easy to work with. At a good price he was able to do exactly what I needed making live edge boards. My experience couldn’t have been better. If I ever need sawmill services again he will be my go to.

John is a great guy. I very much enjoyed working with him. Please note that he is a one man show. Extra help on-site is required to keep up with the milling machinery's output. At least three strong, hard working persons are required. If you are not much into exerting extra effort to maneuver logs into position, consider having a large commercial-grade tractor or skid steer available. Otherwise, a few cants and bars will be needed to pivot and roll the logs to the mill's hydraulic lift. John provides one of each. Multiple sets of positioning tools would be ideal. Overall, site preparation is the key to success.

I found John on line. He worked with me on scheduling the best day and getting logs sawed before the end of the year. He is very knowledgeable in maximizing the cuts to get the most boards out of each log and saws holding a very tight tolerance. I would recommend John to anyone looking to get quality work at a good price.

John did an amazing job at sawing multiple walnut logs for us. We wanted some live edge cuts and as was very helpful with suggesting the log(s) to use as well as direction. Ended up with multiple gorgeous grain live edge pieces as well as close to 700 board feet of lumber for my woodworking projects. Thanks John!!

John is a great guy and really knows what he is doing!! The sawmill unfortunately broke when he was out the first time but, it was fixed within a week and he was back to finish the job. Professional and easy to work with. He will be back when we are ready for more lumber for sure.

John did an excellent job! He is very knowledgeable, pleasant to talk with, and his costs are reasonable. He custom cut 30 logs for me into mostly live edge and book-matched slabs along with some dimension boards. I highly recommend him.

John has been a great source for high quality and reasonable saw milling service. I've used him more than once and he always does a good job, is on time and makes good yields from the logs I've harvested. I will use him again. The lumber he saws for me will be used on custom wood work projects or for interior grade mouldings. The lumber air dries for a while, then depending on the final use of the wood, I may have it kiln dried too. It's very satisfying to work with John and also friends as the logs are sawn.

John knows how to cut wood!! He showed up as scheduled to cut wood and he cut wood for 3.5 hrs straight thru. When needed he helped unload wood from the saw. John was helpful from the beginning and gave sound professional advice in the process. He is a good guy to work with. His saw is a monster and it was an awesome experience working with John and watching the oak, walnut, cherry, pine come to life with each cut.
