Kingdom Grounds Cafe

I wanted to try Kingdom Grounds and finally made it down, it's safe to say I'll be back much faster. I really didn't know what I was missing. Let me begin with what is right about this place. FRIENDLY SERVICE in a time when it's harder to find.. This cafe doesn't just feed the community, it helps create community. I don't know if I've ever heard so many kind words from a group of staff and I eat at Chick-fil-A where it's always their pleasure to serve. Seriously, this is one of the kindest, most genuine groups of servants I have ever ordered from. I've had a cheery person greet me other places, but the whole staff had this joyful, genuine demeanor that flowed past good training and into sincere customer care. My omelette was delicious as well, full of meat and filling enough for 2 meals. As good as the breakfast pastries looked, I had no more room in the tank. The seating offered several options including booths, tables, pub tables and bar seats. The dining area was spotless and just felt very clean. They even hand wrote a positive message on my cup insulator. This is a place that makes you desire to return because you felt valued as a customer. It's a bit out of my way, but I'll be back again. There is something special about this place, it's a blessing to eat here. Now for the negative, just one thing. My coffee was so hot I couldn't drink it until I got back to Newport. Some people like it that hot but I like to drink it right away so that's a personal preference, but other than that, I loved every moment at Kingdom Grounds.

A very well hidden gem! It's not exactly nearby to anything besides beautiful countryside, but it's worth the trip out here if it's not far out of the way! Great breakfast food at a good price, and if you don't mind the upcharge their fresh lemonade is fantastic. Tons of baked goods available to go as well. I've been for breakfast and for lunch, their menu does not disappoint.

Very delicious food and reasonable pricing. The workers are really nice as well. Very clean inside and beautifully decorated!

Update: 7/2022 This place never disappoints. The workers are very kind and friendly. The food tastes amazing and the prices cannot be beat! I like that they also open early!

Whoa😍 This place is my new local ALL TIME favorite cafe!!!
The atmosphere is chill and the food is absolutely amazing!! I didn't think cheese fries could get any better honestly.. So much flavor! My husband ordered the spinach cheese steak wrap and a bowl of Chili, I took one bite and know exactly what I'm ordering next time with more loaded fries😁
The Strawberry Refresher was soooo good and literally refreshing, as was the low price!! I ordered a cold peppermint tea to go and it was only 1.85 and it was amazing 😍
Only 1 negative...plastic cups and straws, l would love to see them switch to paper or plant based, which can be ordered on Amazon for as much as plastic!🌱

I love my local café Kingdom Grounds. They are friendly, efficient and the place is pretty. Food and drinks are good. Its great to get an iced latte, delicious omelette or fries when I am hungry. Eat in or pick up at the window, I love to do both.

Our group of 5 had fast service on a busy Friday noon. The food was hot and fresh and staff was friendly and accommodating. We sat at a picnic table under the carport. I recommend the strawberry spritzer and acai bowl. The staff serving orders need to squeeze past the congested ordering line. This business barely fits in their space, but they do a great job at what they do.

I got a meat lovers which has sausage,bacon, and ham omelette with American cheese and a large white mocha. Very accommodating with a soy allergy. Wish I could give it a higher rating. My sister and the rest of the family will be back.

The food is absolutely delicious! That is why it is always crowded, especially on a Saturday. We had a little hiccup with our order, but they took care of it promptly. Sometimes things like that happen when you're so busy! It's our new go-to place!

From the moment we walked in the door the staff was friendly and inviting, the food was amazing we have ordered over the phone twice now since. Worth a stop if you are in the area!

Absolutely amazing!
I would recommend this coffee shop to those who live by, passing by the area, etc. The service was amazing everyone is super super nice and the food and drinks are just as fantastic as the service!

I cannot recommend this place enough! The staff is amazing, the service is quick, and the food/coffee is affordable and delicious. I love to swing in to pick up coffee, grab breakfast to catch up with family or friends, and hang around to do some work or read my book. The new specials are always exciting!

So fresh and oh, so GOOD! I wish I would have remembered to take pictures before devouring my meal. I didn't have anything overwhelmingly different, but adding avocado to a BLT is a new favorite.

I seriously, love the food and the drinks knowing that they are using nothing but fresh and nutritious ingredients for their food, baked goods, and drinks.

Knowing all this makes it easy to pick something different from the menu!

We eat here often. As always the was delicious, the staff was awesome. But for the first time the atmosphere was tooo much. I understand school kids want ha g out for football game. But they were so rude. They had there bookbags on tables not being used, throwing open jelly packets or food at each other, laying on the seats, blocking walk way. Talking loud about things i dont want to know these kids know about. I feel that if they are acting like this that the staff should be able tell them they need order food to take uo one whole side of there restaurant. Not order every once in awhile. But I also feel that they should be able tell them, if they cant he respectful, they need to leave. I am not a parent, but I have kids in my life these kids ages and i can tell u right now, if i ever knew my kids was doing what these kids were doing 1 they would come home after school and not hang out til a football game or 2 i would embarrass them in front everyone by making them clean up their messes. Ill be back to eat, but never will i come on a Friday night before a football game. If they dont put a stop to this, they are gonna lose the customers that enjoy coming for dinner.
