Very enjoyable dinner with friends last night. Manager delayed (slightly) one of our dinners because He felt the first prep wasn't good enough! First time That's ever happened and we dine out alot.
Cant wait to come back and try other menu items. Highly recommend this venue..well done!

We planned on riding our bicycles on the trail but flooding was intense so we ended up by chance finding the Marietta tavern on Market. Wonderful service from Trish. GREAT ORANGE CRUSH! Troy took the time to share his favorite dishes to cook. Loved the garlic parm wings and the BOOM BOOM shrimp was AWESOME! The locals patrons were friendly as can be. We will be back!!

Growing up in Philly and moving to Central PA it’s been hard to find a really good cheesesteak. After five years of searching, I finally found the answer. Marietta Tavern on market! Their cheesesteak has been by far the most amazing one yet. The steak has tons of flavor, thinly sliced and very juicy. Roll was perfect. To say I’m still craving one would be an understatement. Can’t wait to go back!!

This is my favorite little bar in the area. The food is always good from what I have had and the people who work there are great.

They have great happy hour specials. All alcohol is half off!

This place was awesome. Fresh homemade chips, with pretty out of this world seasoning. I had the chicken cheese steak and it had the perfect amount of blue cheese. Nice atmosphere and everyone was super nice. Check them out again for sure!

In the area to see a Sight & Sound Show. Took a bike ride near Marietta and stopped for a late lunch. We shared a salmon dinner with fresh broccoli and seasoned rice and a house salad. Can't say enough about how delicious it was. The bartender made me a wonderful orange slush..so good I had 2. Everyone we encountered here treated us like we were regular customers. So good we're going back after our bike ride tomorrow!!

Came in for dinner with 2 small children. They had board games to play while we were at our table. Food was good, staff was very friendly… I didn’t catch our servers name but all the stars to him and his energy, made my kids laugh!

Wonderful staff, a at home comfortable atmosphere. The crab cakes entre is amazing, I highly recommend it to other seafood lovers.

Across the board everything was awesome. They had a DJ that night who played lots of great songs and wasn't overpowering. Could listen to the music as well as have a conversation. Bartender did a fantastic job. Food was good and reasonably priced and the local patrons were very friendly. When we visit again we're definitely going back there.

Service, people and food were all great! I'm in town for work and wanted to sit at a bar and enjoy my evening. I got just that with Marietta Tavern. It happened to be trivia night and while I usually wouldn't play they friendly game host talked me into it. I'm glad I played it was fun and gave me something to do rather than stare at my phone. Food was good and bartender was very friendly. I will definitely be back if in town again.

Our family recently spent a evening together enjoying taco Tuesday with our favorite Waitress. The atmosphere was fun. The food was food. The service was excellent as usual. We will definitely be back soon. Nan & Denise enjoyed a quick photo!

We went to Marietta Tavern on Valentines Day with a party of 4. Our waiter was excellent and so was the food. This was formerly Nick's Bistro.We liked Nicks but the new owners have really done a great job. The Happy Hour is AWESOME and nightly specials are great as well. We will be back!

I wanted a space to get my family and bridal party together to kick off our wedding festivities and try on my dress for everyone! Brandi was so helpful and communicative throughout the entire process of planning and picking out food for the meal. The cheesesteaks, pickle chips, queso, and soft pretzels were amazing. and the FRIES, omg, the best I have had in some time.I definitely recommend Marietta Tavern and Brandi for your larger parties and gatherings. Couldn't ask for a better event and a better owner/host/server to tend to us throughout the evening.

I used to go to this bar many many years ago when it was called the colonial inn. When one of my best friends and I went in a couple of nights ago the place is totally remodeled very beautiful they had a woman singing and a man playing guitar and it was just a really nice setting to be able to sit and talk to

This place was so much fun. The owners were so kind and so personable. They try to connect with every customer. I highly recommend this place. Food was awesome and the bartenders made it a great time too.

Such a neat place for a dinner. Building was built in 1794! Some local music, great staff and we even meet Nick!!! Worth the trip. Dune local, small business!!! You won't go wrong! Beef tips sell out early by the way!!

Wow. What a gem in the rough. Nick's is located in what appears to be a primarily residential area.

It's not going to grab your attention from the outside, but as soon as you walk in that changes. I felt like I was stepping back in time to a slower, more peaceful time in history.

All the tables and chairs are dark wood. The decor feels very inviting, without being pretentious. The deep dark tones of the wooden beam style ceiling and horseshoe shaped bar give this place character.

Don't be fooled when they hand you the paper menu. Well they may have dispensed with the fancy design, its what's printed on it that makes the difference.

Now since you've read this far I'll cut to the chase and tell you about the food. In short, it's fantastic. You'll enjoy large portions, and your tastebuds will be delighted by some of the secret recipes. The home made potato chips are definitely a unique must try.

The staff is top notch. Our waitress took our order without even writing it down - and nailed it. (Amazing considering there were 11 of us).

Then the owner strolled over to our table to chat. Super nice guy, who really cares about his patrons. I saw him engage with everyone in the dining area.

As my wife relayed to the owner how the crab cakes she ordered were the best she's ever had in her life, (and she's been ALL over the world) he said he made up his mind decades ago that there is no substitute for quality.

Well, it shows. Nicks Bistro delivers a relaxing ambience, a well-rounded menu of simple and delicious food, great service with a personal touch all at a price that makes it easy to walk out feeling great.

I hear they are packed on the weekends, which makes it sound even more fun. 😉

Has fantastic food and it's a great environment. Friendly waitresses and waiters that go out of their way to make sure your meal and experience is top notch. The owner Nick is always nearby to talk with and hear about his beautiful granddaughter.
