Northgate Apartments

Having lived here for one year, my housing experience at Northgate was fairly pleasant. Apparently the management changed just as I moved in, which I suppose was a lucky stroke as Ashley, the now-current property manager as of writing, was helpful and forthcoming with information. That transparency between tenant and landlord is very much appreciated, with communications being responded to in a timely manner and updates being regularly sent out to tenants. Ron, the maintenance man, is friendly and helpful as well, always just a phone call away if needed.

The apartment room itself is satisfying. To list some of the things I found excellent:
+Affordable rent for a sizable room with lots of storage space.
+Superb sound insulation. Noise between walls was virtually nonexistent, something I didn't even realize until I stepped outside and heard the TV sounds out of my neighbor's room. This holds a little less true between floors, but only a little.
+Great location. Right off the interstate, and right down the street from the local Walmart. Makes for very convenient milk runs.
+Nice view out on the patio. It's a large grassy field between you and the next neighborhood over, and it's peaceful to gaze over.
+Reliable infrastructure. Water and electric do not fail you even in storms. Cell signal is strong, and internet is stable.
+Nice paved walking trail right outside the property.

Only annoying thing worth mentioning was my issue with the dryer. While each room includes necessary hookups for washers and dryers, the latter never worked properly for me and always left my clothes slightly damp. Management worked closely with me to fix the problem, issuing several different dryers and cleaning out the vent shaft, but for some reason it just refused to work. Ashley and Ron were both very apologetic about it, and considering their considerable efforts at fixing the problem, I just waved it off and decided to use the local laundromat on main street (which, sidenote, has absolutely gigantic washers and dryers capable of handling up to 90lbs of laundry. Ended up spending less there than I would have in my apartment, about $15/month for a single person. Very reliable place, that one).

I should probably mention that the aforementioned problem was only specific to my room. Ron and I could literally see the vent flaps of other rooms working just fine, it was only mine that didn't. Oh well.

The walk in closets were the biggest I’ve ever had—in an apartment OR house. The apartment was completely clean upon move in, and nothing shady happens at lease end with the deposit or anything else. All maintenance requests were done timely. Ron and Ashley are the friendliest, most professional, hardest working people around. You won’t be disappointed staying at Northgate!

Property manager, Ashley Laird, provides top service to her residents. She’s quick to respond and always have a solution within a very short period of time. The property is clean and quiet thanks to Ron that’s in charge of maintenance. Any issues I have in my apartment he is quick to fix. And is so nice with my dog!! Highly recommend living here.

Ashley went above and beyond in making sure she got me into the right apartment! The process was a breeze and issues are resolved maintenance wise fairly quickly! Also a very quiet safe place to raise children!

Had a really good year renting an apartment at Northgate. I moved in as they were looking for a new property manager. The lady that they hired is great to work with and willing to work with the residents. When I moved out she was starting to have events for the community and was working to make it a good place to live. Maintenance was great as well, always prompt and willing to help. Only reason I left was because I found a house to buy closer to where I work. Manager and maintenance man were very nice and supportive of my decision to buy a house because that was what was best for me.

Our move in process was quick and painless Ashley was very thorough on explaining everything to me and has been a huge help navigating this process. This campus is quite and calm and peaceful very safe and my minds at ease with safety and comfort here. Love my new home and am so glad I gave these apartments a chance. Looking forward to many years here!

I love living at Northgate, Ashley is awesome!! My son lives here too and we both needed keyfobs for the pool and Ashley brought them to us on a weekend!!! She is a very professional, efficient, kind lady who goes out of her way to make living here very enjoyable!! The maintenance man Ron is also very nice and efficient!!! I would choose Northgate definitely again!! Also Ashley made the application and lease process very easy for me, she is a great lady!!! I would recommend Northgate 100%!!! Definitely 5 stars!!!!!

Amazing all around. Easy application process, timely response, well kept property- I highly recommend. Ashley Laird, property manager, went above and beyond expectations! Northgate is a nice quite community to live in, it is well maintained. The manger Ashley goes above and beyond to help the residents out. She is professional, great to work with and will make sure you have what you need. She goes the extra mile to ensure the property is clean, safe and the residents are taken care of!

I have lived at Northgate Apartments going on three years. The property is kept in impeccable condition. Maintenance and management are right there if anything were to go wrong. This is a great place to live given all the amenities, location and cost of rent.
