Mr. Pickle's Sandwich Shop - Surprise, AZ

Great food, great selection and great service. Their sandwiches are huge and a much better value than most "sub shops." I've been looking forward to them coming to the Phoenix area since they announced their expansion plans and I wasn't disappointed. The Mrs. Pickle was delicious and had tons of flavor and left me full after half a sandwich!

Mr. Pickles in Surprise, AZ is a must-try for sandwich lovers! Their Dutch crunch bread is absolutely incredible - perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. It's the perfect base for their delicious fillings. And let's not forget the free cookie! A sweet ending to a satisfying meal. Highly recommend!

I know there are a lot of sandwich places in Surprise, but I urge you to check out Mr. Pickles! It was so very good! Today was their hard opening, so opening day. I went around 9:45am. Everyone was so nice and kind to me and very helpful in assisting me in selecting what I wanted. I got The Hero, which is roast beef, turkey, ham and the works. I added baja sauce to mine because one of the employees told me it was like a spicy ranch and I love that, and let me tell you... it was amazing! I need more of that baja sauce ASAP. My husband got The Italian, and he said it was very good. We both got the Dutch crunch roll of bread, which is a crunchier, harder type of bread. It was good! They have several different options for bread, gluten free wraps available and also have vegan/vegetarian options if that's your thing. They have cold and hot sandwiches, and can make salads. There are a lot of options, so something for everyone! I'm definitely going to go back and try different things. 🥪🥗🌯

All around amazing sandwhich shop. Every experience we have had has been great. The sandwiches are delicious. The service is fantastic. Brittany has taken our order multiple times and is always so friendly. Today she informed us about the Pickle Points program and encouraged us to sign up. We signed up right then by scanning the qr code . Process was quick and easy.

Delicious sandwiches with a variety of breads available. My go to is the Tom Turkey on Dutch Crunch bread. If youre willing to splurge, the potatoe salad is flavorful and filling. We all enjoy the free cookie that comes with every sandwich. The Chandler AZ location is clean and has friendly team members.

Have been here twice in the last month. Both times have been excellent, food wise and service. Also, I might add, the free cookie you get with your sandwich order is so menial, you might think, but my opinion... It's a very nice touch.

The sandwiches are soooooo good. You can customize easily too. Highly recommend! Dutch crunch all the way!

Best sub sandwich in Surprise! The bread, toppings and quality of the meats are fresh and delicious. Yeah there is a wait, especially if there is a lot of people waiting for their order but it's well worth it. I had the Italian sub with all the fixing. It was really delicious. My son had the Meatball sub and loved it. Give it a shot, you won't be disappointed

We've tried a number of sandwich shops around here and have found Mr. Pickle's to be the best one yet. Like all the others, the sandwiches are HUGE, but not as sloppy, and oh so good! Service is great and friendly...and you get a nice warm free cookie with your order too! Put's a smile on your face!

Mr. Pickles is the best sandwich shop around. Hands down! Every sandwich I've had is always so delicious and filling. I usually get delivery, but I went in just recently, and the whole staff was so kind and helpful. I forgot I had made an account to get points, and the employee at the register helped me get that squared away.
10/10 is recommended all the time!

Everyone is quick to complain about the prices, food quality or service. Yet by making a comment here, it's clear you've had the opportunity to look at the prices before coming over and getting a sandwich.

I've been here a couple of times, and with each visit the experience improved. Their Mr. Pickle and French dip are delicious. I'm a huge fan of the dutch bread. I'm a petite woman who can scuff down the entire sandwich, with the tasty cookie and be satisfied.

To each their own, but I intend to come back and try other options and hope to see their staff continuously provide excellent service and happier/less hangry reviews!

Fantastic service! I made an error when completing my order on the MP app and my order did not transmit. Upon arrival I realized my error and placed my order at the counter. Even though they had received 2 large orders, they completed my order (1 sandwich) within a few minutes!!!!! Fantastic service. I’ll be back

Great new place in town for a sandwich. They have a few tables inside and a few outside but that's it. I had the tri tip sandwich and really liked it; my only complaint was I ordered the whole sandwich and they gave me only half so I had to go back inside and tell them, meanwhile my other half got cold, they made it right by making the other half, but it was still good. I really want to try a couple other sandwiches in the future.

Been here twice now. First time in when I saw the size of the bread it did look small but when the food was ready and I grabbed the bag I was shocked at how heavy it was. First time we ordered a Tom Turkey with the works and a My Deli sandwich that only had a few condiments on it, both were excellent. Second time in we ordered a Listen Linda and the same My Deli sandwich and this time when I got home I weighed the sandwiches becasue again they felt heavy. Now ive seen complaints about the portion sizes and maybe your ordering the wrong sandwich like I saw someone complaining about the BLT because the sandwiches I ordered one weighed 1 pound 4 ounces and the other was 1 pound .7 ounces, not sure how big of a sandwich your looking for but a pound plus is big enough for me. As for the price yes its a lil steep as the 2 sandwiches do come close to $30 but cant we say that about most things now? Like the one combo meal I bought at Carls Jr that was $18 and some change, yes almost $20 for ONE combo meal, or the gas we are now paying almost $5 a gallon for or how bout the price of eggs, blame the higher ups for the price increases. So to bash them on price is a little unfair, it would be nice to see no prices higher then $10 as it is only a sandwich but not sure where you can get a sub sandwich under $10 anymore. I will def be back for more sandwiches.

Employees are always nice. Sandwiches are big and fresh. Love the cookies too. They always give my son one or two while we wait.

Great sandwich.
The layout of the shop is weird tho it ruins client flow and people making sandwiches are yelling names over and over wasting time because they can't see the customer hears them and are walking to the front. I think the interior could use some work. But sandwiches were good.

My husband and I had never tried mr pickles but me being obsessed with sandwiches we had to try! Stopped in today and the customer service was phenomenal as well as the food! I got the mr pickles and my husband got the French dip! Both were so so good. Can’t wait to return.
