Starting with the first information visit with David, I was impressed with the low-pressure "sales" call. He took time to explain the product and answer my questions. He knew I was going to have appointments with a couple of other suppliers of stair lifts. David knew the product and returned a second time to answer more questions. He also was the one who installed the Bruno Elan lift. I've only had it a few days and even though thankfully, I'm still able to walk up and down stairs, I'm already experiencing relief from my back problems by not having to carry things like my laundry basket etc. My children are thankful that I've been pro-active by having this installed before anything happened causing me to REALLY NEED it.

Nick is an amazing person and genuinely cares about the people he and his team are helping. He does business the right way... which is with integrity and honesty. I would not hesitate to recommend him and his team for any accessibility projects you may need for your home.

101 Mobility boasts the highest caliber of professionalism that you can find when it comes to service. Not only are they professional, but the knowledge that their service tech (Nathan) exhibited was superb. He was prompt and went above and beyond to explain what was needed and what other services could be offered should we require them. Truly salt of the earth folks, a fantastic business and absolutely a 5 star review.

The mobility lift we selected was installed perfectly. We were given a demo and the technician answered all of our questions. We have used the lift for my dad, and he loves it! It's very smooth, quiet, and easy to operate. Thank you for providing this great product and service!

My experience with 101 Mobility was excellent in every way.
I was particularly impressed by the promise of getting assistance within 24 hours should a problem arise. The company that serviced my previous lift could not get a service person to me even to diagnose the problem for at least six weeks! The installers arrived at the specified time and got to work. They were beyond wonderful: Cheerful, professional, experienced and a pleasure to work with. David and Steve – and the third man, sorry did not get his name – answered all my questions and explained the functions of the new lift. It was ready to go in just a couple of hours, and it’s perfect.
It’s a huge relief to have a garage lift I can count on, and a responsive company to service it.
I highly recommend 101 Mobility. They exceeded all my expectations, and I look forward to working with them should I have any questions or issues in the future.

They were so very helpful. When my son's ceiling lift suddenly stopped working, I frantically called all over Chicagoland looking for a place to buy or fix the ceiling lift. It is impossible to get a new one. It was going to take around a month. I was beside myself trying to find someone to help me. I called 101 . They were amazing. They said they could either fix it or I could get a new one, and they would lend me one. That same day!!!!
What a God sent. They fixed the lift at a reasonable price and let me use the loaner until it was fixed. I am so grateful. I can't thank them enough. They were so friendly and helpful. I wish all the places I dealt with were like them.

This company and it's employees and Boss are Personable. Bruno is a great product that they use and the customer service is fantastic. The customized product has worked fantastic for our needs. I would recommend to anyone that has walking up stairs issues.

Nick and the 101 family at this branch is fabulous. They've helped my school aged child with accessibility needs at two different locations. the most recent one being rather challenging, but they got it done! Michael especially has been a pleasure to work with on site. He's really easy to talk to and takes his time to figure out the best solution. The really do care about their work and I'm confident in that because I've met with other mobility vendors who weren't as thorough. The administrative team is also very responsive and easy to work with.

I cannot express how grateful I am for the entire team at 101 Mobility. My father has been semi-mobile for years, and very recently suffered a fall, and within a week was having surgery on his back, and was in the hospital. I had to take time to research installing a chair lift for my father, but I had to move quickly to make a decision and get it installed.
I called 101 Mobility, and the entire team was SO helpful and GENUINE. First off, they were able to move things around and have a technician come to evaluate our needs the very next day of my calling them (and btw, I called on a bank holiday, and the office still took care of me!) They had Nick, the owner himself, come out to my parents house the next day. Nick spent over an hour taking time to discuss the chair lift options with my family and I, answering questions, and evaluating our needs. We actually had another company come later that day, and they barely spent 20 minutes with us, and never even followed up after their visit.
We quickly made the decision that the 101 Mobility team was whom we were going to move forward with. Both my husband and I had such a warm and kind interaction with Nick. We could tell that he genuinely cared, and could not only sense our need for urgency, but also the need for explanation. My husband and I knew that working with Nick and 101 Mobility was the right choice. When we called the office back later that day to move forward, they were able to schedule the installation for the VERY next day.
They had a great tech, Nathaniel, come out to our house and perform an amazing installation as well as helped us tighten some other handrails around the house. He was warm in his explanation and tutorials to us, and he did a perfect installation.
I then realized that other things around the house might need some improvement for my father, and I called Nick to see if he could evaluate handrails around other parts of the house.
Yet again, Nick worked with my tight schedule, and came the next morning to explain options to us. And in true fashion, the installation of guard rails in our garage was complete the next day.
It is not often that you find people like Nick, and his staff at 101 Mobility. It is already quite frightening when something happens to a parent, an elder, or a loved one. 101 Mobility's approach is to lead with kindness and integrity, and their work is absolutely amazing and professional, and done with so much care. I have reached out with follow up questions, and Nick and his team have replied to me so quickly. I honestly wish I could give this review a million stars, because I just can't believe the flawless experience that I had. And I know that anybody reading this review, will have the same experience. As corny as it sounds, I consider Nick and the 101 team family now - he is someone I know that I can always count on.
PS- My father got home and was just in awe of the stairlift. He told me it was the best thing that has happened since he has lost mobility over the past 20 years. If that is not the most glowing review, I don't know what is.

Service was prompt and professional. All questions answered clearly. Our outdoor stair lift is just what we wanted and needed.

I cannot rave enough about my many experiences with this very very caring, professional and impressive establishment. I found them after having a very negative experience with another company. The attentions and responsiveness to my needs were and are remarkable. I am so very thankful. They installed a Joey Lift to my car and returned to my home several times to "make it right for me" at no additional cost. They also installed a lift at my daughter's home to surprise me. This enabled me to access the house for a holiday celebration with my little grandchildren and family. They installed it in record time to insure the surprise mission would be a success. They researched a particular scooter from Europe I was interested in and, and, and.......

All the employees are just terrific and welcome any and all of my numerous concerns and questions. They are #1 and just the best. PS I'm not related to any of them and sincerely write this review with honor and pleasure.

Unbelievable!! This is possibly the first time I have given a review with 5 stars. Because there is always room for at least some improvement. But not this time. Zoie set me up with Steve to install a carrier (for my electric chair) on my Equinox that I bought and had shipped to them. Not only did Steve do an excellent and professional job of the installation, but at a very reasonable price. Then several weeks later I wanted to remove part of the carrier and Steve did so, but would not let me pay them for the time, about an hour. I would recommend 101 Mobility in Elgin to anyone looking for mobility help. Great organization. When I complained about not being able to pay, Steve told me that, "they were in business to make a living, not a killing."

We were in need of some part replacements for my father's staircase lift last week. I have never once heard a machine answer our call. Nick was very helpful and understanding of our needs. He always has been! Within minutes and a few picture texts, we were e-mailed a couple of possible options. Every time there is something we need, we have felt like the only customer, which we know is not the case. 101 mobility, especially Nick, truly take good care of their customer's needs. They make it easy, and I am so appreciative of this family-friendly service!

The experience I had with 101 Mobility was so beyond awesome I cannot even begin to give it enough stars. The staff is warm and kind, and makes you feel like family from day one. They were professional and efficient, and installed my daughter's mobility seat perfectly. When I had questions or needed tweaks, the 101 Mobility staff responded immediately and came to both my home and my daughter's school so that the process was convenient to us, and my daughter did not need to lose valuable school time. The entire organization from sales staff to repair and installation staff could not be better !! Every single person I have worked with at 101 has been exceptional.

My parents needed a solution for getting up a long flight of stairs. Michael came over for a consultation and quote. And as soon as we were ready for the install, they had it installed in just a few hours. It was all a painless process. I totally recommend them for anyone else in our situation. Well done!

101 Mobility is one of the BEST equipment companies I’ve ever worked with. They are prompt, courteous and the strive to exceed expectations set forth. It is my pleasure to write a review about 101 Mobility. My husband and I have been caring for my parents since 1987. Over time we have reached out to 101 Mobility for help. Most recently I was looking for a Sit to Stand machine to help me with my dad. I reached out to many places that were recommended by other sources which required that I pick up the machine. It was more costly, and I was left to figure things out on my own. Nick, from 101 came to my house, a very nice young man, who took the time to give my dad and I a demo and his price was more reasonable. The overall experience was very pleasant and very welcomed during a stressful time in our lives. We would highly recommend them. Thank you Nick & Staff.

Your service technician worked on my two Bruno stair lifts, which required new batteries due to the old ones that wouldn't hold a charge anymore. Steve did an excellent job on these repairs. He was very professional, courteous, and friendly. He cleaned the two units, checked out all the safety switches, replaced the batteries and tightened all the bolts and screws that might have come loose over the years of constant use. I would highly recommend this company and Steve to anyone who needs their stair lifts serviced. It' also a pleasure to speak to a person instead of a computer.
