Our experience here was phenomenal and this was hands down the best gluten free pasta I’ve ever had. It was cooked to perfection and the sauce was delicious. Ordering is done through your phone using Toast, but it didn’t feel impersonal. The staff were all super friendly and attentive, and the food was great! The portion sizes were perfect as well.

Foodies, listen up. I've been trying to get over here forever, but life has gotten in the way. Now, let's get to the good stuff.

The place is set up wonderfully. You can sit at high tops, low tops, outside, or the bar. Choose the bar closest to the entrance so you can actually see the cooking happening. It is actually really neat. While it is a whole work of art happening seeing the chef adding simple ingredients to make dish after dish, he was also able to keep the entire area clean and answer questions in between things he was doing. Luke, the chef, is a true professional at what he does.

My husband ordered Ragu and Funghi Spicy, and I ordered Carbonara. Please note that the pastas are freshly made every day, so they are a little firmer than say your box pastas. The food was absolutely divine. My husband said the tiramisu was the best he's ever had, and compliments about food come very rarely. The nutella stuffed cannoli was perfection.

Everyone working answered our questions and were so helpful as it was our first time there. The menu is also very clean, precise, and not overbearing with options. You can order with a person or through the digital menu, which was explained at the door.

I can only compliment a place so much, so try it for yourself.

I grew up with home cooked Italian meals…this makes me feel like I’m sitting at home with my family enjoying a home cooked meal! Portions were amazing, the food tastes great, and it’s not expensive!!

Also my girlfriend who is gluten intolerant was able to eat here and they didn’t charge 1 penny more for it which is appreciated!!

We were traveling to Murfreesboro and were hungry when we saw this restaurant and decided to give it a try. It’s a nice, clean spot. I ordered the ragu & funghi, which was my first time trying it, and I really enjoyed it. The pasta was nice and chewy, and the sauce was not overwhelming. Next time I come back to Murfreesboro, I will definitely visit this place again and try another dish. For those who want their food quickly, this place might not be ideal, as they make their food fresh

We’re in Nashville/Murfreesboro for our final out of state baseball tourney! This place is freaking awesome!! As a Chicagoan & with a son named Luciano Giovanni, this is def imported Italian food! Can you please open up a location in St. Charles, IL? We will pack the place for you! Kat was a doll! Informative, fun & just all-around nice! Thanks for an amazing lunch! 🇮🇹 we had the beet salad/burrata prosciutto sandwich & the amatriciana pasta dish! Oh yea…and the tiramisu 🤩

Wow. My partner and I decided to eat here for our anniversary, and we could not have chosen better. The food was beyond spectacular and the service was lovely. I couldn’t recommend it more and we will definitely be back!! 20/10, you should get the Carbonara Pazza and Vanilla Pana cotta. PLUS, the Stubborn soda on draft is 👌🏼

Great food and great environment! It is a very cool place and the food made me feel like I’m in Italy! The pasta tastes real and you can tell it is homemade. We got different types of pasta and each one has its own unique flavor. All the servers and the owners were so nice and welcoming. I’ll definitely be back soon. Such a hidden gem in Murfreesboro! They spoiled us with a platter containing all of their dessert, the were all so delicious!

Phenomenal pasta! I had the lasagna and it was wonderful. It was absolutely amazing! My son had the meatball panini and he really liked his food, too. The service was prompt and courteous. I also loved the zero calorie cola that they have on tap.

Food was delicious! Delectable choice and variety, especially for me as a vegan! I ordered two of their vegan dishes and was NOT disappointed! The onion jam is to die for and all the toppings were fresh and beautifully selected. The chef was wonderful and created every dish with love and passion...Grazie! Please spread the word about this lovely eatery...support this business! Please note, you have to drive around to the back of the buildings as the entrance is not directly visible from Medical Center Parkway at the FOUNTAINS at GATEWAY plaza.

Fresh pasta is made onsite. The staff was very accommodating since there is limited seating, they offered to have us start out at the bar overlooking the kitchen ( to watch fresh food being made), until a table opened up. We were so intrigued we stayed at the kitchen bar.
The food is delicious and authentic, a great experience for sure!

First thing! They make their own pasta! I got so excited when I saw the authentic menu items.
We tried the Shrimp Pasta dish, the gnocchi with gorgonzola cheese, and the pizza with onion jam on top!
The crust was amazing on the pizza, the gnocchi was warm and melted in my mouth.
I will go back!

had the best night at penne pazze tonight! loved their valentines decor for celebrating valentines ♥ all our dishes were amazing. David was so kind and took care of our table so well! Can’t wait to come back!

SO fresh, SO good! Best new restaurant in Murfreesboro. Fantastic fresh made pasta, yes they make the dough for the pasta in house. Packed with flavor and so well prepared! LOVE it! Can’t wait to come back and try more

I’ve been coming here consistently to pick up lunch on Fridays for months now. This place is awesome. I never cared for Italian food because it always made my stomach hurt. My neighbor recommended trying this place because of the quality of the food and I’m so glad I listened. Not only do I physically feel fine after, but the food tastes amazing. By far the best Italian food I’ve ever had.

Along with the food, I want to give a shout out to the staff and the manager of this location, Luke. The staff is always really friendly and I enjoy getting to see them on my regular visits! Luke is always going above and beyond to make sure my food is great and that I am taken care of! I first spoke to Luke when I had questions about the dishes and wasn’t sure what to get. He listened patiently and gave great recommendations. You can just tell he wants to do his best to make Penne Pazze a great experience for everyone!

The first bite of my pasta immediately took me back to my trip to Italy years ago. This is my go to source for the most authentic Italian food in the Nashville area. Period. I bring all of my friends and family here to experience the perfectly cooked pasta and rich yet delicate flavors. If you are dining in, have a seat at the bar to enjoy watching the chefs cook your meal before your eyes. The Campanella Pazza is one of my favorites. Don’t miss this gem in Murfreesboro!

I came to eat here and the food was so delicious and fresh.The honey pinsa was so delicious and I got the kids pasta. Definitely recommend coming it’ll fill you up and you won’t regret coming. The staff was also super helpful and accommodating I believe our hostess name was Kat she was super nice.

Absolutely amazing Italian food, never disappointed with service or food. Quick delivery of food and servers very attentive. Decided to use for catering a rehearsal dinner and owner very helpful and friendly. A real find in Murfreesboro.! Give it a try!
