A very unique cafe experience!

There is a screen with the ocean and the sun dancing in the background, the music is relaxing and calm, and there are so many creative options (I love how a London Fog became a Scituate Fog. That’s so creative!)

There are fresh flowers inside and out, and lounge chairs too!

My tea was delicious!!! I got a Vanilla Rooibos.

My egg, tomato, and avocado with an egg on bagel was quite bland. The bagel didn’t have much flavor (I think it needs more salt). The avocado was unripe too (or just super grainy) so that’s unfortunate. Maybe I’ll add cheese next time too. That helps with the salt. I’ve just never had a bagel that tasted so bland which was sad.

I will be back though. Just might not order a bagel. The cafe is lovely!

They make excellent lattes of all types. Definitely worth a detour. Sometimes it’s really busy so order ahead if time is an issue. Outdoor seating available. The Hanover location parking lot view seating isn’t nearly as nice as being in the water at the Scituate location but still nice to have an outdoor option. The food is fine but pretty pricey. There used to be a bit of a bro vibe but as they’ve gotten more popular and more locations it seems more welcoming of all types including non-bros.

Food and vibe here are perfect for grab-n-go OR if you want to sit and chat.

Got the sausage, egg, and cheese on an Everything bagel — bagel was warm and toasted perfect. Tasted great and good size portions.

Their iced coffee drinks are phenomenal too!

They have outdoor seating which is nice, but a little hot in the sun 🌞🥵

I loved visiting Lucky Finn, but be aware of the time of day if you want to get a seat. It’s smaller than I expected, and took me almost 30 minutes before my friend and I (with a baby) could get seats. The coffee was delicious and the atmosphere was great. Looks like many people bring laptops to work and it’s a great place to meet up with a friend or just stop by on your own. They also have a great ordering app for ordering ahead.

So, living in the town of Scituate, I usually go to the Lucky Finn locations in Scituate. &This Hanover store is just a very different atmosphere. Don’t get me wrong, all of the Lucky Finn cafes are phenomenal! The owners are very friendly people, who you will usually see behind the counter, working in the Scituate locations. Lucky Finn is more than just an establishment! It’s truly a whole vibe!!-it’s all about a fisherman’s way of life and overall gives an ocean/fisherman-like theme. The Hanover location has a big screen with the Scituate harbor playing in live time on the screen. Although because it’s right after Thanksgiving, they now have a holiday theme on the screen. The coffees and lattes and teas etc., are truly like none other!! They use high-quality products and have standards I appreciate. If you’ve never been to Lucky Finn, stop by and give them a chance! You will not be let down!

The food here is always outstanding - the breakfast lox sandwich is my favorite but they have tons of options to try. The coffee is good too but I prefer to stay away from the many flavors they have (I don’t love the extract taste). The service is always great and everyone is really kind. The only downside is that it’s always packed! If you’re looking for seating you might have to wait a bit or takeout.

It was a bit crowded when I went on the weekend in the morning. Not much seating indoors. There were some outdoor chairs to sit in. The food was very good.

Hands down, Lucky Finn is the best Cafe! From their savory food, customizable options, to the attention to detail and great customer service, it is one of the very few cafes that won’t disappoint and leave you with a bad aftertaste in your mouth and wallet. Many other establishments have traded good quality food and service for high prices and still expect tips for bad customer service. Fortunately for us, we can still enjoy great food, products, and friendly customer service @Hanover, in an ambience that makes us feel we are close to the mountains in Colorado lol … (im not pushing it, its a cool joint). Shout out to Sean for always providing such great customer service. Service like this keeps people coming. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏽👏🏾

This place is great. The interior design is modern, the music is nice, and the service is really great and super friendly. I loved the idea of the screen showing live view from the Scituate harbor, very clever and it adds a special touch to the place. The food is delicious. Great place, a great second location with a new experience.

Their first is over in Scituate Harbor. They have a huge monitor on the wall showing a live feed of Scituate Harbor from other store. The food is fresh and they make terrific hot sandwiches. It's located in Merchants Row and is right off of Rt 53 in Hanover. It's one of my favorites when I want to get a quick lunch or breakfast. They aren't open at night.

Incredible cafe just off the freeway, with awesome prices and a bespoke atmosphere.
Family owned and operated, lots of handmade outdoorsman items that rival Patagonia in quality. Would absolutely come back!

I've only been a couple of times so far, but have enjoyed everything to this point. Today I got the Scituate Fog and loved it. I love the atmosphere, the big screen of Scituate Harbor, and the location. Looking forward to returning with my wife to try a couple of the bowls. I may also soon sign out a work space for my forth-coming dissertation. Will update the review after these experiences, but I at least wanted to say, "Great!" to this point and happy to support local businesses. Thanks.

UPDATE: We went to try a couple of the bowls to go for my wife's birthday yesterday. My pan Asian bowl was pretty good. Other reviews are correct about the small portion size, but I didn't mind as it was lunch and the chicken was actually a pretty good amount (and pretty tasty). But my wife's Farm-n-Field bowl wasn't great. The flavor just wasn't there. We were actually wondering if maybe the Fuji-Apple drizzle never made it on the bowl. The concepts of these bowls are great and we will try again another time.

SECOND UPDATE: Back to five stars.

I tried out a private work room today. It was wonderful. For me, working within the busyness of the cafe and yet undistracted in a private room is a great environment for productivity.

Also, my wife came for a brief lunch visit and we tried two more different bowls than our last visit. They were excellent this time around. I'm thinking last time was just an off day. She had an acai bowl that she loved and I devoured the border bowl. So good.

Two notes on the room rental:
1. I'd think that for $25 for a four hour block, a cafe might offer unlimited tea or coffee.
2. It may not really be four hours like the website says, so be careful as you consider which block to book. Mine was actually 11:00 - 2:15.

Rented an office space for the day to work on my dissertation and enjoyed both breakfast and lunch. Coffee and meals were great and the aesthetic is pretty rad too. Highly recommended!

I ordered the Pesto avocado toast and carivan latte. Both were delicious, although I would have wanted a tad bit more honey and a little less pesto on my toast. My egg was fried to perfection!

My latte had the perfect combination of flavor and the level of sweetness was ideal. I had mine with Almond milk.

I appreciated that the staff pronounced my name correctly and wished me a delicious meal and a great day.

The music played created a relaxing and chill vibe, the merchandise being sold were very attractive and the restaurant was clean. I did find the line a bit confusing.

I highly recommend this cafe.

It was so busy, but the food was worth it and so was the latte! Even for being busy, I was called pretty quickly after placing my order. Highly recommend :)

Fun coffee drinks, amazing breakfast sandwiches and staff that truly care.

I attempted to skip the line and order on the app but had trouble finding my usual order. When I went in, I had asked the barista if she could help me but it was poor timing on my part as it was 8am mid week. About 2 hours later I received a text from a Mary Ellen giving me step by step instructions using their mobile app. Truly above and beyond customer service and always the best coffee and avocado toasts!

If I lived closer, starbucks would never see me again! The coffee here is excellent! Most places that offer a variety of flavors dont deliver on coffee strength, but lucky finn is the best of both worlds! Flavors I would never see anywhere else and perfect taste! Loved the atmosphere even though I didn’t sit in, it was very warm and friendly. I could tell the staff was working like crazy and they were all still very helpful and kind. I will definitely be trying food on my next visit. See you soon!
