The Bears Den on the Point

This rating is for two different Friday visits for the fried cod fish fry.(We went back). On the second visit, they were busy and understaffed. I felt bad for our waitress who was working so hard to keep up. She did a great job! The star was the fish fry. Every aspect was just what I wanted. There was a loud festive atmosphere with sports tv's playing ball games and a beautiful lake view! I give our waitress 5 stars, but the amount of help was lacking.

Place was great. Service is great. The building is great. I'm confused why they don't make the outside more beautiful. The view would be amazing if it was cleared out and opened to the water more. Great place. I'd definitely come back.

Awesome little restaurant on the lake. We enjoyed the burgers and chicken salad. Service was good.

The pizza was amazing! Love the atmosphere and friendly staff..Really enjoyed the live music and can’t wait to return to try another delicious item on the menu. Kudos Chef Mark and Tracy for a job well done!

We were on a girls weekend getaway and had a great time at the Beats Den! Great Wisconsin Old Fashioned and fish fry. The perfect Friday meal. Friendly service and a beautiful spot to watch the deer and enjoy the water!

Pizza is amazing, Sunday bloody mary bar is like no other & the fish fry is beyond words.

Best pizza around!! Service was fast and the staff was very friendly. We have been here now 3 times and once we did take out. We won't eat pizza anywhere else!

After years of going to "The Splash," I'm pleased with the new changes! The food was fantastic and as always this location is perfect for families, the kids love playing outside here while we grown-ups enjoy a drink! The pizza was great, after reading the other reviews I expected a bad experience but found the ONE server they had to be friendly and helpful. It's maybe not the place to go for a "quick bite" but if you want quality food and a nice enjoyable dinner with your family, this is a great choice. PS. CASH ONLY!

Perfect evening to boat. Sat outside on their deck to have a pizza pie and a good draft beer with friends!

My family members have been up here for 40 years down the street. I was up visiting today and saw that the location had changed names and talked my family into trying it.

It's a bar. A clean bar with some good tvs, it has some friendly staff... And a great burger.

So if your wandering around Adams county and want to get a pretty decent burger or a sandwich at a reasonable price and relax .. what a great simple place.

The place is crazy clean. Staff A-1. We didn't eat, but food smelled great. The chef showed me the kitchen. Great set up for what they are doing and clean!

I stopped in for the meatloaf special. It was a total surprise to the bar tender and the chef. It was accidentally posted on Facebook for a special tonight. It was actually a special earlier in the week. So I went with the nightly special of Italian Beef and fries. It was a very good meal. When the chef found out what we came for he called the owner. Owner came down and apologized for the mistake. We have eaten here a few times. Always terrific food, no matter what is on the menu. This is definitely a must when you are in the area.

Megan was one of the best servers we have ever had. She is the reason we will be back.

Very nice, freshly renovated place to stop for a few drinks and some food. Other than some staffing issues which is expected with a new place, the staff and atmosphere were great. Stopped in a few times, Emily had a great personality and was quite attentive. Got to meet the owner and chat a bit too. Great place to stop with friends!

Sorry to see many unhappy reviews... However having been there from the very start I can understand some of the criticism as there was definitely a learning curve and unable to find consistent staffing another big issue but things have been turning around ever since, I believe they now have the best pizza in the area, their wings and other food items are delicious as well, and the drink prices have been adjusted and are now in line with the area. I would recommend another visit if you haven't been there in a while

This place works hard to take care of their customers. PLEASE realize staff has to ramp up for our summer expectations. Give them a break and BE KIND. 😃

We were greeted by a friendly staff and the food was very good. The owner came to our table to make sure everything was ok, and that is a sign of a well run place. We will be back for sure.

Best pizza and wings in the area. Came in to watch the Badger game with a group - perfect set up! Very Friendly service.

Stopped in on a whim. Great rustic atmosphere…very clean. Dan was a very conscientious bartender…amazing service…highly recommend.
