Applecrest Orchards

Loved the amazing tasty apples. You can see walking around the orchard how healthy everything looks - I wanted to try everything. We definitely appreciated the smaller family feel to avoid the crowds - especially this year. The big commercial apple farms are a bit much for us. The food truck was great today. Loved the picnic tables too.

Great family-owned orchard. Skip the busier, bigger name orchards and visit this orchard outside of Hugo. Has all the fall goodies, apples and Pumpkins. Is small, but a nice change to the busier orchards with all you need.

Small, family owned neighborhood apple orchard. Covid precautions are in effect: masks, social distancing. Food trucks and music on scheduled dates (check their Facebook page).

Great local orchard. It’s small at 10 acres but they’ve got what you might need. From early season offerings like pears and Duchess of Oldenburg, to the fan favorite SweeTango, Zestar, and Honeycrisp. They’ve got a gift shop with local honey, salsa, baked goods, often have a food truck, with seating outside. Family friendly. It’s not setup to allow pick-your-own apples, so don’t be upset. They’re under new ownership and they’re trying to revitalize it, after a storm a few years ago hit and took out many of the older trees.

Super cute place where you can walk through the orchard as long as you don't pick the apples yourself.
There's a little shop on site that sells apples, syrups, some bakery, etc. at good prices.
I believe they host a food truck on the weekends too.

Absolutely love this orchard. The staff is great. It’s a family owned business, so it feels great to support it. Head in to walk the orchard and their shop has some fun options!

Really cute place, a great way to spend a couple of hours. We took our toddler who had a great time walking through the orchard, playing with the kids toys they had, and watching the chickens. Then we got lunch and an icee from the food trucks and had a picnic at one of their many tables. They had lots of yard games set up too. Not crowded at all. Got a lot of good stuff from their store on our way out (apples, baked goods, candy, etc). Highly recommend.

First time at this orchard and let me say it's beautiful! Delicious apples and you have to try the green apple jelly!!! It's amazing! Stop by and support our local growers and farms!

Very nice family business orchard w their own honey and apples and other products, such as cider, pies, squash and pumpkins that are personally selected and locally produced also.

Yes, they are open 7 days a week until after Thanksgiving (depending on the weather).

Quiet and riendly place with some things for the kids and very handsome varieties of Bantam chickens to observe. Free taste testing to find your favorite apple variety. We enjoyed a random walk through their orchard on a beautiful October day and came away relaxed and happy with our apple choices.

Great place to go with the family. Nice walk through the orchard, great apples at great prices. The gift shop has a lot of great surprises in it too. Ate at a food truck that was there and the food was AMAZING! Great atmosphere.

Quaint and calm and reasonably priced. I love that it's family owned. It was a great way to spend a Sunday. The workers were friendly and the apples and treats didn't disappoint.

The staff at Applecrest Orchards was so helpful to me today. They were helpful, kind, and went out of their way to accommodate my needs while purchasing product for an upcoming work event. I'll be back!

Cute family owned orchard in Hugo, family friendly. The owner made a great recommendation when she saw how many apples we were buying to make applesauce that saved us a lot of money, so thank you!!

We love Applecrest Orchard and are so sorry that you have another closed season. Hopefully 2018 will be a better crop for you. Our family loves the small family atmosphere and you have the best apples!

Very nice, well kept little orchard. They had a cool ice cream truck while we were there. We went on a Sunday and they even had a TV with football on!

I miss coming to see you. So sorry that the weather has conspired to keep us apart. We would come see you for apples frequently. Have missed picking up my big box of Harelsons. Hopeing for an abundant crop in 2018.

The apples we have tried from you have always been very good. Sorry to hear you have had two bad years in a row. Hope to come by next season and try some more of you apples and other products.
