Trappers Bar and Grill

I was with a very large group at Trapper’s last week. Staff was so accommodating for us! They were very patient as we were excited to visit family/friends and rarely sat still. Not sure how the servers stayed on top of it, but they sort did and were very energetic in their work!! We moved tables so we could fit family together; servers took it all in stride. Very friendly! Thanks Noelle!! We will be back!!

We had a large group of about 40 people come in after a funeral Your team did an awesome job as we kept moving around and visiting each other. Thanks so much for the awesome service . If you’re looking to host an event, Trapper’s may not immediately come to mind, but it SHOULD!!! We just hosted a class reunion there and it was really perfect for our event! There is a separate door for everyone to come in, the bar area in the back is incredibly cute, we hosted pizzas and the food set-up was lovely, I could go on and on! They were easy to work with before our event and overall we had a really fabulous experience! Definitely keep them in mind for your future events!

Frequent Trappers quite often and always have a great experience. Staff is always great and energetic and willing to accommodate. Love coming here for bingo and a good bite to eat!

Quaint and homestyle restaurant

The atmosphere is very homely, and the food was amazing as well. I had the Fiesta Burger, which was cooked perfectly and arrived very quickly. When you first walk in, you will automatically feel the homey sense of a local bar and grill, and this place caters to that sense. Overall, a delightful experience, and I will be going back.

Trappers is a great little place with specialized staff that knows how to cater to this small town mentality. Amanda was great she really took care of us. The drinks are good not overly strong just right. I love the selection of beer I’m kind of a multiple year kind of sewer or domestic game. Basically like all kind of beer. Their wings are very good too. I had a chance to try some other burgers and their exceptionally good. The view is kind of cool it overlooks the lake

Love the atmosphere. Lots of TV's to watch sports. They offer bingo and meat raffles a few days of the week. Nice staff.

Great local bar/pub and the food was very good and reasonably priced. Next time we're passing through Minneapolis we'll have to stop again.

Food was rather good! Definitely can recommend the roast beef dinner. My only complaint with it is that there could have been a little more mashed potatoes, but everything was delicious and filling. My wife had the pizza of the month, which was basically a Hawaiian pizza, which she said was tasty and not too heavy. Trappers will be on our radar for places to dine out in the future!

I had a side of chicken wild rice soup and a club sandwich.
I have never had a bad meal at Trappers. Always tasty!

I have had several different meals here, and I have always been happy with my choice; their service is also always fabulous. Bingo here is super fun and moves at a good pace. I wish they had packets for the bingo, but the games still come out quickly.

Nice clean bar/restaurant, atmosphere was great, friendly staff and great food. But do not go there in the evening if you have epilepsy. The lights above the tables all flicker. I have been there twice, it is was the same thing both times. Only a few tables have lights above them that do not flicker. If they ever fix the lights I’ll change my review to five stars for sure. Update: the lights are fixed 😁

The only frustrating issue with Trapper's Bar & Grill is when you want to go to a place to meet friends or date night and the music compete with the bingo caller! Too loud. How about do one or the other?? At times tables are sticky where they've not been properly cleaned.
Now, how about some positives. The food is pretty darn good and always hot. Nice menu and something for everyone. Beautiful view of the lake summer or winter. Staff are friendly and helpful.
Parking is good and easy access. Lots of TV's and not a bad spot from which one can view the game.
I come back to the only sure negative is between playing bing and music at the same time. Just too loud! My suggestion, get rid of the bingo as I don't see it that busy anyway. The music is good selection. Maybe key games, pump that through the speakers for your patrons.

Great server and we will return for sure. The monthly specials are definitely worth checking out. I had the blackened walleye salad. The fish was delicious! For the price, I didn't care that the salad was ordinary. It was fresh! My brother-lnlaw had the steak and was very happy. My sister had a mushroom burger. She's mighty picky and she liked her meal too!!

Classic bar/restaurant, has a few games for the kids, pull tabs for the adults. Decent prices and good food/drinks. Always great after a round of golf at Chomonix

Our family had a wonderful experience at Trappers tonight!! The best food and service that we have had during our stay in Walker! Wes was so attentive and knowledgeable! He impressed us all! We hope to see him every time we visit! Exceptional!

Fun place to stop, you feel like your up north at a fun cabin bar! Great staff, cold beer, and friendly atmosphere. I recommend. We will try the food next time, it looked great!

If you've never been here I strongly suggest it. Everything I've ordered has exceeded my expectations.
