The quality of Bernie’s work is amazing and clean. He did my doctors office and it’s such a marvel of beauty that I had to ask who their contractor was. They said they haven’t had any structural issues and the building is 10 years old. I would recommend this contractor to anyone.

Stay clear of this contractor especially if you need a new roof. I noticed that with the exception of one review of this company, all of them are posted within the last year. I had a 30 year roof installed in 2003 as part of an addition they put on my home. The addition/home renovation has its own list of issues but for the purpose of this review I will focus on the roof. In 2018, the entire roof had to be replaced, which is only half its supposed lifespan. It turns out that the batt insulation installed by this company was woefully inadequate. With only one layer of batts between the joists a significant amount of heat loss to the attic space was occurring, which was confirmed by a thermal camera. This likely contributed to the condensation issues I was experiencing and premature roof failure. The new contractor found a host of problems when they inspected the roof and tore it off. Nails all over the roof had driven their way back through the shingles, likely a result of the air compressor not being set correctly or the heat loss issues each winter. During the tear off, there were areas where no ice/water shield, tar paper or any barrier was present. They also made a valley out of tar! Two areas of the roof deck were kept as original shaker shingles versus being replaced with new plywood when they tied the new addition roof into the existing one. Lastly, the ducting for the bathroom exhaust roof vent for the bathroom in the addition was not connected to the vent. The ducting was just sitting down in the hole of the roof which likely also contributed to the condensation issues. I gave this company one star because miraculously it lasted fifteen years. When I contacted Justin Marchuska about the condensation issues, etc., he hid behind legalese and warranty language. This company is all about the money and does not value customer satisfaction and/or loyalty.
