They diagnosed the issue with my car quickly and provided a clear explanation of the repairs needed, along with a fair estimate. I appreciate their honesty and transparency throughout the process about a faulty repair another shop had done on my vehicle. Brought the car to these guys because my AC just crapped out just before it’s supposed to heat up.. they called me same day with same diagnosis. Luckily I had an extended warranty to cover repairs, which these guys went ahead and dealt with the warranty company completely themselves. I didn’t have to go back and forth fighting for repairs myself. They kept me updated throughout the process and had my car back in just a few business days. Would highly recommend if you’re in the Boro or even surrounding areas 👍

Ran into cooling issues with my car, they were able to replace my fan and get me back on the road in less than 24 hours. I appreciate the quick communication and feedback on some fixes that will need to be done soon. Will be back!

Excellent and honest. Other mechanic said $1500 to repair and want to replace a number of items. Murfreesboro Auto Repair diagnosed it appropriately and $209 later issue fixed.
This is our second use of them and they are excellent.

I had a wonderful experience with Murfreesboro Auto Repair, everyone I spoke with was super friendly and answered any questions I had. My car was repaired quickly, and if I needed it, I had the ability to get a loaner car. Hopefully I won’t need their services any time soon, but would be my first choice for any future repairs.

From the moment I walked into this business, they were extremely professional and kind. After they completed the diagnostic, everything was explained to me in detail. My main issue was my AC not cooling. A couple other issues were found and discussed and fixed. My car was repaired on time. And the cost was very reasonable considering everything they had to do.

Amazing experience! Had trouble with my air conditioning making a lake on my passenger floorboard. Called and they got me in in 15 minutes and was fixed within an hour for barely anything. Highly recommend!!!

I'm from out of town, so when my car decided to have issues I was thankful that MAR was able ro get me in right away, diagnose, explain the issues, and get the parts delivered and installed all with in 3 hours! I was half expecting when I arrived to pay more, but they are very up front with costs, and explain everything about the costs before starting any of the work detail. The pricing seems very reasonable, and they have some discounts too, first responders being one of them! Very courteous as well, offering refreshments from water to pop!
In my opinion, this is one of the best I've been too, and wish I didn't live 6 hours away!! But in the unfortunate event I find work needing to be done to my vehicle while I'm in the area, I know exactly where I'm going.

My car stopped working due to a timing issue and they quoted me over 1k less than the dealership not to mention there warranty was 2 years longer on their work! They're also great at communicating and dont judge when you call them 5 times a day! Will be taking all my cars here from now on! Thanks Tamerlin and Matt!

Great place in every facet. Professional, courteous, very communicative and will take time to address all your concerns and questions. My daughter's VW GTI totally shut down, She's a student at MTSU, 1800 miles from home. I know cars, rebuilt a few engines in my time and fix our cars today, if necessary. I was concerned about getting ripped off or marginal work, but Murfreesboro Auto Repair came highly recommended from multiple sources. I spoke with Temmerlin and he eased my concerns. Turns out he's a certified VW/Audi mechanic and a fan of VW's. Spoke knowledgeably about the problem and was, upon inspection, what we thought- jumped timing, bent valves. Did internal damage to the valve drive train. Everything he told me was legit and checked out. I knew the repair would be pricey, especially to do it correctly. Temmerlin kept it contact throughout every phase, tear down and inspection and machine shop valve work. Reassembled with OE VW parts and did it right. I asked him to drive it a bit before he returned it to my daughter to ensure that there were no bugs or repair issues. He took it home for the weekend and drove it for a good time to test. Everything is great! I wasn't going to write a review until my daughter put 500 miles on it after she picked it up. She now has 800 miles and the GTI runs perfect, no drips or leaks-just awesome. Temmerlin noticed that hew AC wasn't as cold as it should be, my daughter didn't notice or complain. He threw in a freon recharge for us and now it really blows cold. My daughter depends on her car for school and work. Temmerlin was able to get her in a loaner for 7 days, it was a big help. It was a 5K repair which is expensive, but reasonable for that job. At least 30% less than a dealer and they still used VW replacement parts. Replaced all associated parts (spark plugs, etc.) and fluids. It was done right, probably better than the dealer. I hope we don't have to visit Temmerlin again, other than to say "Hi", but if she needs anything in the future, Murfreesboro Auto Repair will be our only choice. I dropped my car off twice here and Matt and the boys have always done me right. They make sure to break out the issues to me, explain the different options I can take based on my scenario. I hope I do not need to see them to often, but when car issues pop up, I’ll be back to Murfreesboro auto repair.

I found this shop the last time I needed work done on my car and was impressed by the fast, friendly, and honest service that I received. I say that because it is hard to find a good place to get your car worked on and usually we find ourselves at the mercy of the “stealership”. They were very friendly, I had a vibration that had been diagnosed as needing complete overhaul of my front end. Diagnosis was made by a tire shop!! M’boro Auto did a thorough inspection and ultimately discover that I had a bad tire!!! They were very professional and courteous! Great experience!

Matt was absolutely wonderful!! Very polite and professional! Did an awesome job on my rotors and brakes! He also fixed a vacuum hose he found that had came loose. He did a thorough once over to let me know of anything that i might want to keep an eye on or plan to have Maintenance on down the road so I don’t have unexpected issues. This is very important to me because my Rav-4 has almost 200,000 miles on it. Being prepared to take care of some issues before they happen is huge in keeping the Rav running in tip top shape. They were very polite professional and kept us informed. Only had to wait a day for an ordered part to arrive and a day for the work to be done. Left with the issue with our van resolved weeks ago and it's been running well since.
