Hors'n Around Stables

This is my daughter's third summer riding here, and it is the one activity she never wants to miss! Lisa has years of experience riding and training horses, and is informative and caters the lessons to each individual's skill and comfort level. My daughter really likes that it is a little less formal than some of the better known riding stables, and I like knowing that Lisa, as the only trainer, is consistent and experienced.

Lisa was super observant of the horses, the girls riding, the dogs running and even the guests watching. She knew what she was talking about and doing! My daughter was treated well and really grew in confidence working with the horses. I appreciate Lisa’s training method as my daughter was given the opportunity to develope at her own speed and not pressured.

I was here to pick up my cousin with my mom, I thought it was a really co place and my cousin said she had fun which is good!

Laid back environment my kid has learned a ton about horses and riding.

I wish I could rate this zero stars!! The horse Aren't treated well at all and Lisa let’s the kids ride in the arena for 2 hours alone and she barely teaches people and then she tests them for what she didn’t teach them. Last time me and my friend were there was the last time. We saw a girl pulling the horses neck to her knee. The horse was uncomfortable and you could tell but she was not stopping and Lisa wasn’t there to help. The horses are left outside for four seasons straight. The only time that they get out of the pasture is when they are hurt but not all the time sometimes they’re left in the pasture. Never going back !

Should be zero stars for the rotting dead equine lying in the field for over a month. The smell is atrocious. Try throwing summer parties with that stench. I got to tell my guests to bring something to the potluck and some Vicks Vapor rub to put under their nostrils. Owner refuses to dispose of the horse and leaves it out with the other horses like the head of the boar on a pike in Lord of the Flies; she leaves it as a warning to all the other horses of their future fate. I feel sorry for anyone who has a horse boarded here. Your horse now has PTSD and will stink like decomposing flesh. Called the appropriate authorities, but the crypt keeper won't come to the door after the neighborhood complained. The owner should be utterly disgusted with herself for allowing a horse to decay in her back yard and for not respecting other people who live around her. I hope Mr. Ed haunts you for the way you let him become maggot food in your own yard.
