Barden Family Orchard

Amazing farm with great owners and staff! Excellent selection of different apple varieties, peaches, berries and flowers along with a whole store worth of goodies ! If you like farm produce and fruits Barden is the real deal! We went in early September and picked 4 different types of apples, blueberries, flowers and raspberries! Small farm feel with a down home soul !

If you're looking for a place to pick apples or get a pumpkin Barden Family farm has both. They also have apple cider slushy and they are working on cooking up apple donuts. Great farm for the whole family.

Great place for apple-picking! Paid $25 for a peck, perfect size for 3 persons. We got a variety of Honeycrisp, Macoun, Cortland, and Crispin apples. Their fresh cider and cider donuts aren't to be missed either.

Every year since my kids were little we always visit Barden Family Orchard for apple picking, pumpkins etc. There is a wide array of apples that are all delicious. The pumpkins are all different sizes and shapes and the prices is always right. The staff is super friendly and helpful. It amazes me how organized check out is. This tradition of ours at Barden's will be carried on as long as my kids want to! Perfect family day every time. Highly recommend Barden Family Orchard!!

Cider donuts were wonderful.
The admission fee thing is kind of odd. 54 bucks for 5 people to walk around seems a bit ridiculous, some people just want to walk with family and have nothing to do with buying/eating apples. But ill give 5 stars for the donuts and the beautifully maintained land.
Also, why is there no 2 person option?
Its 15 for 1 30 for 3 and 54 for 5. Should have a 2 for 25 option, couples and whatnot...

Even though it looked busy and there was a line to get in, we got in for apple picking really quickly and had a great time. We were a bit late in the season and the drought has hit all the orchards hard but they still had a lot of apples left and good variety. Super friendly people, very tasty apples, cider, and cider donuts! You have to try the cider donuts. Definitely going again next year, and they had great berry picking earlier in the year too!

I go for the fresh juicy 🍑 peaches.
Then l get nectarines, butternut squash, black berry preserves, cider and caramel popcorn. They must have a good 150 pumpkins all sizes. They have honey and vegetables and apples coming soon. I love this place.
My dad and l would go just to get the peaches. It was an annual thing with us. Now that he has passed away l keep the tradition up. They are juicy this year a lot of rain.....

I have been coming here since my dad had to lift me up to grab the apples off the tree. I now bring my wife and soon our child. This is THE BEST apple orchard in RI. So many varieties of apples as well as other fruits great pumpkins and staff as well. The prices have gone up a bit but it doesn't matter to me as long as I get some of their apple cider donuts. Go here and you will never go to another orchard ever again.

I've visited several times over the years to pick your own berries and apples. The staff is always friendly and the produce is good.

This was our 1st time Apple picking and the experience was great. They offer 4 different size bags that you choose from based on the size of your family. There was a variety of different choices of Apples based on the time of season you visit but we just walked around at our pace and picked from various areas and had a great time...will be a yearly tradition going foward.....

I had a really great time walking around and getting apples. I went a little late but still got great apples and didn’t have to walk to far. I thought the farm dog was really cute too. Definitely made my day!

We had a wonderful day picking a variety of apples. You can bring your own bag or purchase one of three bags priced from $15, $25 & $40... Then fill up your bag. Don't forget to grab a pumpkin or two and check out the barn house for Apple cider, peaches, and other farm to table goods. Everyone will enjoy the day here. Have fun! 🍎🍎🍎🍎

We return here year after year to pick our own apples. They welcome and embrace the public when so many other orchards limit self picking to a very short window. They have a great selection, reasonable prices, and convenient hours. Just a great experience all around.

Absolutely loved this place. My family and I picked blueberries and sunflowers here in the late summer. The prices are ridiculously affordable and the quality is great. The family who owns it is so gracious and welcoming. They have a cute farm cat and collie who are lovable too. My daughter was in her bliss! Family owned and worth the visit. We will definitely be back!

Had a great time apple picking. Great for a family outing. We got cider doughnuts that were awesome! We got there early and when we were leaving it started to get crowded but everyone was following safety guidelines. Will definetly do this again.

I love it here! We go every year and there is a wide selection of apples. The orchard is beautiful and easy to navigate. There is a lot of parking and everything is very affordable / reasonably priced. No fees to park, no entry fee, and the staff is so friendly and helpful! Fresh apple cider, apple cider dounughts, along with many other tasty treats. Definitely recommend :)

Apple and raspberry picking was excellent. Tons of fruit and easy to pick. This place is perfect for a fall afternoon trip for the family. The standard fare is all here: fruit, pumpkins, fresh apple doughnuts, cider etc... Their cider has no chemical preservatives so it is great for fermenting if you're into that.
