A special place run by mostly volunteers. This is clearly a family institution that has been saved by dedicated community members over the years. Very special. We received a guided tour throughout all three buildings by three different fantastic volunteer guides. The amount of artifacts on display in such a small space is impressive. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our visit, will be recommending the museum to others, and will be back to visit again. Expect to see: many Victorian artifacts from the 1800s, restored woodwork in the home, relics from Clinton County, examples of tools used in the period, a mid century modern kitchen feature, and a traditional fireplace kitchen. Admission is donation based!
