Dr. Katie L. Ryan, MD

Love Katie, here bedside, listening to patient concerns and needs are impeccable. I have followed her to Mason, because I love her care so much. She's worth the drive.

I'm a bit hard-headed and wasn't thrilled having to start with bp meds first visit, but she wasn't wrong. I've been seeing Dr Ryan for 3 years, and I wouldn't want to go anywhere else. After working with her a little while and we got a couple of health issues under control, she's been amazing with helping me find specialists for more extensive issues.

I have been seeing Dr Ryan and Kelli for years and absolutely love them both! They have always taken the time to know us on a personal level and talk real with us. They are great doctors!

Dr. Ryan and her team were welcoming, friendly and helpful on all accounts. I’ve been looking for a primary care physician I could really connect with for years. Grateful to have found this practice. Highly recommend.

Dr. Ryan is amazing! I originally found her and brought my whole family with me.

I feel like she would be a good doctor to treat simple things like the flu etc. However not so much for complex health issues. I was told "there was nothing physically wrong with me and I needed psychiatric help". It's funny that isn't how my psychiatrist who actually knows her and was once a pulmonigist sees it nor my therapist. I have since leaving her started getting help and was diagnosed with asthma, 20 allergies and other things are slowly being seen and diagnosed. I appreciate in some strange way that she was so dismissive because it is leading me towards becoming a medical social worker because people deserve to be heard and seen. The lack of care led to homeless for me and I don't want to happen to others so she gave me a reason to fight even more for answers. I do hope in the future that she learns her lack of actions can cause harm and not give up so easily on patients.

My husband and I both went to Dr. Ryan recently to establish a doctor since our previous doctor retired during COVID. We both have had issues with the “care” that she delivered. I will be filing an official complaint with Sparrow and don’t want to put all the details of our independent experiences with her here but be aware that you most likely will not receive personalized care. She is not interested in patient-centered care and I’m not even sure that she truly reviews your chart.

If I could give zero stars I would. Enough said.

Do yourself a favor and find a doctor who isn't this one.
