Love this place :) Great ministry, great staff, and one of the most immaculate facilities we've been to.

The mission is not the Ritz Carlton. But they have beds available. You can get breakfast 7am, lunch 11:30am and dinner at 5pm. On Sundays lunch is at 1:30pm and dinner is served at 6pm. A great variety of foods served that meets average dietary needs. The case managers will guide you to community agencies that can help you overcome being homeless. They have a chemical dependency recovery program. You can expect some no nonsense staff, though they are caring. Plenty of people from the public come to help spread the word of Christ. Beyond meals and a bed, you get a daily shower and someplace to store some of your stuff. Money can be stored in a safe, so you can save to get your own place. There is a place for you to charge portable phones. Don't smart mouth staff, you will be invited to leave. No swearing allowed.

Always a good place to go get a free meal...and get out of the cold .....it's a major blessing!!!!!

Such an amazing organization that truly helps transform people's lives. All their services are free and they accept no government funding! Everyone is so welcoming from the staff, fellow guests, residents and volunteers. Truly a blessing to the Rockford community!

All these negative reviews come from non-Christians. I have been there before and the food is really good. When I called them today they were willing to take me in the next day. I’m disabled dealing with for-profit and non-profit organizations. I hope and pray that they can help me.

It's got wonderful people whom do good things for people

My name is Kurt,this is my son Ben's phone I'm using,ha.I stayed here for 6 months and I'm now a volunteer in the kitchen for the last 8 months.giving back or paying it forward u can say.ive Ben respectful and followed all the rules. I even volunteered in the mens crisis office the last two months of my stay.ive never had a problem and nobody had a problem with me.the mission saved my life.im very thankfull and blessed.thank you RRM.

Are you homeless, need counseling, nowhere to turn to? Rockford Rescue Mission at Hope Place on West State Street offers 1 night or Extended Stay for men and women in separate areas. There is hope to turn your life around. Come on in.

Went there tonight for a graduation ceremony for men and women in their Life Recovery Program. The Mission is a homeless shelter for men and women who want to turn their lives around with the help of the Lord. They have been in operation for over 50years and have helped many people get their lives back together.

Was able to help with serving one meal and loved the experience. They are a great service to the Rockford community.

The staff here is so friendly and there’s a lot of stuff to browse through, if your like me and enjoy going to resale shops looking for unique items this a is a good place to go.

Great place love their recovery program it's not for the weak that's for sure. I love how they help the homeless and feed whomever is hungry.
